"Rag Left In Engine"
I first took my 2013 XTS platinum here for warranty work as I had a leaking timing case.After getting my car back I started to experience some engine noise so took it to the dealer I brought it from where it was discovered upon engine tare down that a shop rag was left in my engine  and it soaked up oil which caused the noise I was hearing. I contacted this Cadillac dealer as they are the ones that did the work on it and they picked up my vehicle towed it to there shop put it back together. I was informed by Ryan that there was no engine damage and all was ok. 2 days later my car broke down on the highway... broken engine rod. They sent a tow truck to pick it up again(2nd time) After this repair Dave from service ask to drive it around a few days which I was ok with. When I got my car back from the very 1st day it would not retain any settings such as seat position,radio station,HUD etc.I also had damage to my driver side fender and rear trunk area had about a 2 inch gash in it. Took it out that weekend and on the way home there was an awfully foul odor the entire ride home, once home when I turned off the car and it was dead. I could not unlock/lock doors lights were flickering just some really strange things were happening. The car would not start could or be jumped it was just dead. Lucky me I did not stop for gas at 2am. My car was towed again to their dealer (3rd time).I informed them about the damage to my vehicle and what was happening with it.They informed me that my battery was swollen and leaking. Looking back at that situation I wonder why my car was returned to me in the 1st place as it is my assumption that when Dave was driving it around it had to be doing the same thing(not retaining settings).They replaced the battery did a ok job on the front fender but a horrible job on the trunk area. When the car was returned it was not washed, compound all around the fender area and all over the trunk area, it literally looked as if someone just dumped baby power on the trunk and this is how my car was returned to me (I thought every car gets a courtesy wash no?)Also my passenger seat was all the way down and pushed back and I had black smear marks on my light colored leather interior and mysteriously my passenger side headrest would not lock in place anymore and the bottom center of my Navigation touch screen was non responsive. After washing the car that weekend and inspecting the areas that were repaired the trunk area  has severe hazing I guess no one actually inspects the work done here in these instances. I am a work at home Global systems administrator so I do not drive the car very often or very far so about 2 weeks later I went to visit my daughter and my check engine light comes on. So you know what this means right??? another call to the dealer. They picked up the car again(4thTime)at this point I was extremely frustrated and explained all the things that had went on with the car the condition it was returned in and what was not working such as Nav screen, headrest and paint job they did on the trunk area.For the record I wash/wax all my cars I do not use a car wash it all gets done by hand so I know where ALL my imperfections are. Keep in mind through this whole ordeal I never once raised my voice was argumentative or verbally expressed my displeasure with emotion. They had my vehicle for almost 2 weeks for what I was told was just a loose hose none of the other issues were addressed. I cannot use my Navigation as the lower screen is not responsive where the space bar is. Had none of theses issues prior to this. The icing on the cake is it seems someone ignored the front warning censors that let you know when your about to hit something as there is a small gash in my lower front fender that was not there previously but hey my check engine light is not on yet so I should be happy right?!?!? Also no courtesy wash :( So THEY leave a rag in MY engine which started this situation and this is how it was handled

The skill/knowledge of the mechanics and Ryan (the Service Manager) are top-notch . Hudson is the best managed dealership I have ever seen , by far. "Unexpected Purchase"
I initially contacted a few dealership about the 2015 GMC Canyon thinking I wanted to drop down to a mid size PU. Few had what I wanted in color and options so I decided to travel to the most convenient dealership, Hudson Cadillac, Buick GMC to test drive one. After driving it, I knew the Canyon was nice but because I was transitioning from a 5.7L full size, it just didnt cut it for me. There was never any pressure and no hard sell, they totally appreciated and understood where I was coming from. That said, a very nice gentleman (who turned out to be the owner) suggest considering the Sierra, however, as an ex GMC Sierra owner I not didnt consider it, I already knew I couldnt get in one even if I liked it. They were very nice, very solicitous of my needs a and they not only explained some of the improvements GMC made to the truck they took the time to show me. In addition they explained some very appealing dealer and manufacturer incentives on the Sierra. Since I had made the 1 1/2 drive there it didnt seem any harm in test driving it. Not only was I impressed with the innovations and ride, I was surprisingly impressed with the offer and the very fair trade in offer. There was never any pressure, no hard sell and never did I feel like I was treated as a "woman buying a truck" They treated me with respect and made me feel like the knowledgeable person I am. Ive purchase many cars and trucks over the years, this was by far the smoothest, and most pleasurable experience. It could not have been easier. When I started my truck search I never in a million years thought Id be driving another GMC Sierra. Not only am I totally delighted with it, I look forward to making my next purchase from Hudson Cadillac, Buick, GMC.
"Worst Dealership Ive Ever Dealt With"
Their service is awful! 3 days after purchasing my brand new terrain I heard a clicking noise and brought it in. I was told it was nothing to worry about. The noise continued to get louder and I brought it in again. They told me it was a steering column mount and barring. I picked the vehicle back up and heard a different clicking /grinding noise and they took the car for a week and said its now my wheel positioning sensor. After being back and forth and never following up, I always had to call them , they give me my car back and my steering wheel is tilted to the left and my car pulls to the left. The owner brushed it off as everything was no big deal and the service department people gave me an attitude as if any of this was my fault!! Unbelievable

We live in NYC and over the Christmas holidays thought - almost on a whim - that wed car shop while we were upstate. My wifes parents live a few towns away and as we worked through some of the local dealers we finally came across Justin in Poughkeepsie. I own a business in NYC and can be very skeptical of salespeople, until I find a great one. Justin was patient and friendly and as we returned with more and more questions he was flawless and always responsive. "Mediocre Service"
The price listed on cars.com was different than the price I was quoted from the dealership. They stated that the price listed included a rebate but that was not stated anywhere in the add. I was planning on going out to see the car but was told that the vehicle was sold. Two days later the salesman called me up and informed me that the car was now available again. I could not get to the dealership that weekend since it was a distance away and never heard from them again.

The task at hand was to find a particular 2014 model/option mix while trading in its predecessor. Bridgette smoothly arrived at the precise model definition, found such a vehicle, worked up the complete package of purchase, valuation of the trade-in, presented a summation of ultimate costs that was both fair and inviting. When we came to agreement, she knew every step that had to be executed, those that pertained to the car being relinquished and the new car, and at no point did the conversation hit a note that she had not laid groundwork for. She counseled on expeditious handling of relevant insurance issues and payment modalities. I would readily work with her again although the need for that is low just because of how well she orchestrated the present purchase.

Brilliant Experience ! Referred to Hudson by my insurance company and their car buying service. Found the 2013 ATS I wanted, but was not a perfect match (needed heated seats). Set up a test drive appointment with Bridgette, actually went on drive with Mick, but not to worry she then worked through all the details, features etc. Then did an extended test drive. Fortunately, the heated seats could be added. Then followed the process of valuing a trade and working towards a purchase. Here is where Bridgette and Don were excellent at finding common ground for actually moving to purchase ------ I have to say they were both excellent and good to work with, so bought the car. Picking up the Cadillac was very straight forward --- heated seats installed, car ready for delivery, and Brigdette walked me through the features again, made sure I was comfortable and ready to go. Spoke again to Don and left a happy customer. In summary, I think that I was actually helped by at least 5 individuals and they were all knowledgeable, professional and friendly …… this is not to be expected at a car dealership (and I have been to a few). These folks were obviously backed up by an outstanding service staff that made the experience first rate in all aspects. Would I recommend, yes I would….in fact I already passed along my compliments to the insurance company to let them know that their rating as a preferred dealer was in fact accurate.

We hate shopping for new cars. We (and our friends and neighbors) all despised dealing with our local GM dealership (Romeo in Kingston, NY) where we leased our last car. When news came out about the GM recalls, we swore we would never, ever, get another GM car. We were so fed up with Romeo that we decided to take our Yukon Denali to other dealerships for service. And that is how we first met Justin Cook at Hudson Cadillac GMC. Justin is the reason I am writing this review. He impressed us so much and helped us realize that not all GM dealerships are like Romeo. He didnt hustle us. He didnt rush us. Or pressure us. We stopped by at Hudson Buick after researching online the model and trim but not being prepared to buy the same day. Manny gave us the keys for a test drive and explained to us the GM financing incentives, which were great this time of the year. Even though we didnt come with the old trade-in car, we got a good estimate for the trade-in allowance just based on the known mileage and an honest verbal description. For the new car, they also honored immediately the price offered in TrueCar/ConsumerReports certificates. We closed on the deal the same day and made arrangements for the day to drop off the trade-in and pick up the new car. I went into the Hudson dealership looking for information on a new 2014 Cadillac CTS. Bridgette helped me and provide all of the information about the car. She had just want I was asking about in stock. The owners Mike and Matt took care of me by giving me three ways to finance the car. I was given a fair amount on the trade-in and the cost of the new car was reduced by $2,000. I closed the deal the next business day. The real test of the dealership is if you come back. One last great thing about Hudson, they don’t play games and mislead you. The offers are fair and accurate. This is not true on 99% of dealerships that I have been to. After many test drives, I found the truck I wanted and ended up picking it up last night. Justin handled the new 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 while Don took in my 2009 GMC Sierra 1500. I got a fair and reasonable price for my trade and then again a good price on my new truck. I had the worst experience ever handling business at this dealership. I spoke with a sales representative two days prior to coming to this dealership and spoke to them the night before I came to let them know what I definitely wanted and was looking for. I told the sales representative the price: I wanted to spend and I told him my experience at other dealerships made me feel insulted by the price they came back with me after telling them the price I wanted to pay per month. So I thought I was going to get a better experience from this dealership then the ones located where I drove from that was two hours away. So I drove two cars down for what I thought was going to be a good deal since I already explained to the sales representative my situation. So I get to the dealership and he looked at my car, then comes back takes my information, and bring the papers to the financing manager.after being with the finance manager for a little longer than what I expected he comes out and help me I need this much money down and this is the payment. He insulted me further than the first dealership I have gone to when I told him prior to coming in that I did not want to be insulted by then and he prove me wrong. I thought I was coming to a reputable dealership but again I was disappointed and wanted to share how my experience was.it is very upsetting to come to a dealership you thought I was going to work with you then drive another 2 hours back home on satisfied.

This is the first time using this dealership and my first purchase of a luxury car. My sales consultant Bridgette Guarneri was very helpful and made me feel at ease from the minute I walked in the door. She answered my questions with knowledge and made me feel that there was no pressure to purchase a car right then. I had visited another Cadillac dealer after visiting Hudson Cadillac and did not get the same feeling that I got from Bridgette. If fact the feeling was that they were really not interested in my purchasing a car. So back to Bridgette I went and bought the car I wanted. Cant wait to get it. Great experience. DEALERSHIP: I live 15 minutes away from another Cadillac dealer. I was looking for a new Cadillac ATS so I went there first. They had plenty of them, but not one I wanted to own based on options and color. I when over to Hudson Cadillac Buick GMC to take a look. I found a few ATS cars with option packages and colors I liked. Also, they have a great website. I was able to carefully investigate all the new ATS cars. I was able to find the perfect car in stock. Well done on the car ordering and the website. SALES CONSULTANT: I worked Bridgette Guarneri. She is really good at her job. She takes care of the little details that matter to make the customer feel at ease. She also knows the cars in stock. She knew what cars they had in stock, the options and where the cars are in the parking lot. I am a technology director and a college professor. In fact, I teach an automobile technology class. At no point did Bridgette give me wrong or vague answers related to the car’s technology. As for the sales process, she did all the right things, worked with the manager and made me a fair offer on the trade-in and price of the new car. Over and Above the Call of Duty: Bridgette said that I can contact her via text to her cell phone. This was a big help. She answer questions that I sent her at 10:30 PM at 10:50 PM. I did not expect an answer until she got back to work the next day. Also, Bridgette asked me about getting a refund on my extended warranty on my old car. I said that I don’t think MB would do that. This type of refund is not stated on the warranty documents. Well, Bridgette decided to try to get a refund on my warranty without me asking to do this. Well, she made it happen. MB will refund by extended warranty which cost me $3,000. Summary: Dealership A+, Bridgett A++
"Most Comfortable Experience"
This is our second leased car from this dealer this year. Dave who assisted us in our first trip made the process so painless and so pleasurable there was no consideration for going anywhere else first when we needed a car for our son. No pressure, no one pushing a particular product on us. Just solid information and patience. Tom could not have been more helpful and working with Dave is like talking to a friend who is "in the business"
