"Caution Is Advised"
I took my 2016 Pilot Touring for its first oil change with an appointment and a coupon for 24.95. After being told "about one hour or so" I waited for just under two hours. When I got the bill they neglected to discount the coupon but corrected that when I pointed out their mistake. Then the key was misplaced and after it was located I checked the car. A dirty paper mat was crinkled into a ball and left on the floor by the drivers seat; the inside of the car smelled of an acetone like solvent and there was no work to be done inside the cabin. When I drove the six miles home and further checked the oil looked dirty and I found the tires 5 pounds under inflated when they were supposedly checked according to the invoice. I feel I cant be sure the oil was changed (but I dont know how clean Honda oil should look). I also wonder if its because I didnt go to the original dealer. Next time Ill go to a different dealer and I may do it soon to be sure the oil was in fact changed.

So this was my second time leasing another vehicle and I can say I was not disappointed at all. Elias was my salesman and he was very very thorough, he got me the best deal for my buck & he was very patient and sweet. He answered all of my questions and went above and beyond. Not to mention I left something in my vehicle and when I went back the next day to drop off my extra set of keys long behold he had what I was missing!!! "2016 Honda Pilot Ex-l"
I just purchased a 2016 Honda Pilot EX-L. The dealer honored the internet price I brought in and the sales consultant (Elias Nunez) and the financing manager (John) were very polite and honest, and did not push to purchase an extended warranty at all. The purchasing process went very smoothly and Elias showed the newly built service center before my departure. I have purchased and leased cars from several dealers in the past 15 years for my family and this dealer, Elias, and John are really different. I strongly recommend them and this dealership.

My daughter was looking for an economical and reliable car. She is just starting her career. We met with Thaddeus Brewer , who was very helpful. He took his time to explain the features and benefits of several cars to an inexperienced driver. We went on several test drives and my daughter decided to lease a Honda Fit. I feel she was treated well and we paid a fair price for the car. I would recommend Babylon Honda and Thaddeus . My son had leased a Civic there earlier this year and had a good experience, also.
"Worst Dealership On Long Island!!!!!!!"
Dont even dare ask for any help for ANYTHING after you sign on the dotted line. I was met with rudeness and complete obnoxiousness!!!!!! i purchased a used Kia Sorento and nothing but car issues with them telling me thats just the way the car is!!!! SERIOUSLY!?!/...DONT BUY FROM HERE!!!!!!..I further asked to obtain a copy of my credit report, that I paid for upon purchase of car and they blatantly said NO!!!!!!!!

Everything was so quick and easy and just about everything was completed over the phone. This was a great convenience for me! All I had to do was sign the paperwork at the dealership, see the car and learn about the features. Followed with a quick test drive. I was able to see the service area and the dealership. Most convenient feature was Thaddeus Brewer picked me up and drive me to the dealership to get my new car!

Just want you to know I do not write reviews for anything. I rarely have time and am not often impressed. I am making an exception because working with all the Service Advisors at Babylon Honda has been an absolute pleasure. We also bought both our cars from them because of their reputation...they are honest, decent people trying to direct people to what you want and need, not to what they want to sell. I would like to especially thank Fenix Villar who was so helpful on my last visit. He, along with virtually all of his fellow associates are truly some of the most pleasant, thoughtful and courteous people one would ever hope to find in a car dealerships service department. I could not recommend any place more highly.
"Liars! Go Anywhere But Babylon Honda To Buy!!!"
I wish I could give less than one star. I emailed in and asked if a specific vehicle was in stock. I spoke with a sales rep named Candice who said the used car was there and that it was Honda Certified Preowned. I was driving over 35 mles with three hound children, but went that far since this was the exact color and price I wanted. I made sure to ask again that the car was in stock and that it was certified since it did not show as being certified on their website. She assured me that it was. Well, when I finally got there, some guy in the used car department showed it to me, but told me it was NOT a Honda Certified car. He said they do their own certification, but it was it even close to what the Honda certified program offered. He said I could ONLY bring it to Babylon for service under "their plan". I explained I lived in Stony Brook and could not drive that far for service. He shrugged his shoulders. I asked for the manager, who has been listening to us at the next desk over. As soon as I asked who the manager was, he got p and walked out to the lot! I asked for Candice who told me the car was Honda Certified, but she never came out. Extremely disappointed in wasting two hours dragging kids around only to be LIED to and shoulder shrugged, I packed up the kids and bought a Honda Certified used car at Nardy Honda with no issues. I see good reviews for Babylon Honda, but take y word, they lied to me and offered no explanation why. I am telling my friends to STAY AWAY.
"Service Is Horrible, Do Not Go There!!!"
1) i always ask, how long will i be here? Donna my service director answered about an hour..i arrived at 10 am. 2) after about an hour and 20 min she came out to the "new and exciting" waiting room and told me the inspection system was not working/off line. this is controlled by Albany. ok. i waited. she also said my car would be the very first car completed when system back up in 20 min or so..... 3) as i waited i heard the so called "service manager" Chris tell another customer they were the next car for inspection. then another employee told another customer they were next. so i went back out to the service desk to ask what was happening to my car. 4) i told Donna i wanted to talk to the manager. at this point i did not know that Chris was the manager. she left and said she was getting him. she returned alone with the free oil change gift certificate i asked for. no manager. she still said my car was next telling me nothing more....i wait again.... 5) now a full hour has gone by since she first said the system was down. she then tells me that they brought my car to the old show room store to do the inspection there. it could be done there because it does not require the full inspection at 1 year. at this point i was asking for my car and i was unable to stay any longer and did not want the inspection. no one could tell me exactly where my car was...no one was even trying... 6) i then asked the women at the cashier to see the manger. the guy Chris finally came out & told me he would look into where my car was and he NEVER came back to me... now I’m getting angry and want to leave. i went back out to service desk saw donna and Chris.. Chris said he would find out where my car was. once again he NEVER came back to me. that is when i called my husband the wonderful Mitch Falk. 7) after speaking to my husband, the service manager Dennis finally "found" me in the waiting room, after a while. ironically when he "found" me my car was returning to the service dept. all apologies. no action. he made a comment that if i left without inspection i could get a ticket. my inspection wasnt even due until august! very wise & obnoxious remark from him..... 8) i was concerned that my car was being driven around on a busy road in a not so desirable area. no one seemed to know where my car was for over an hour.. who knows where it was. i dont.... 9) i felt like they lost/stole my car.. my next step was calling the police.. i would have appreciated someone taking me to my car at show room. seemed like a simple solution to me.. i was never offered any solution. i left at 1255. almost 3 hours for an oil change and 1st year inspection. the worst service i have ever received at any Honda or car dealership.
"Do Not Go There For Used Cars!!"
The place is a dump. I went in with my husband to find a used car for my son. They are a honda dealership but do not have any Certified Hondas. They were trying to talk me into buying a used car with no certified warranty. I explained that I could buy a Honda off the street and that we drove to a Honda dealership to buy a car with factory protection. We were told that it is too hard for them to make sure the cars are ready to be certified, so they do not certify cars. I was disgusted. I asked for the manager and he would not even come over. We left and bought a car at Nardy that day. I wished I would have known they refused to fix up their used cars and would have saved two hours of my life. The saleman did not even once ask us our names! What a waste.

This was my third car leased through Babylon Honda and it is always a pleasant experience. Unlike other dealers Babylon Honda does not try to pressure you or spin figures at you in order to make you buy a vehicle. I dont even shop around to different dealers anymore because I am 100% confident that I will get the best price possible and honestly I hate dealing with some of those dealers that try to pressure you into "buying now" which is stressful. "First Car Buyers W/ Bad Credit, Dreams Come True"
First time buyers, dreams come true! My girlfriend and I both dont have very good credit and recently started new jobs so employment verification was tough, We had bounced around car lots of all makes for a couple weeks, if a dealer even came out to talk to us (which only happened 1 out of every 5 dealers), we would apply and were offered ridiculously high payments and basically told we had no other choice. We heard about Babylon Hondas Absolute Zero event and had to check it out. We pulled up and as soon as we walked up to the first car, Jennifer was right there shaking our hands. She was extremely nice and more helpful than anyone had been throughout our entire experience. She even said that a lease would be the best fit for our situation and was about to hand us off to someone who could better serve us since she dealt with mostly pre-owned. We liked her honesty and wanted to work with her, so we got through our search and ended up deciding to apply for a 2014 Civic EX. Jennifer was fantastic and quick in helping us get all of that together, even though we made everyone stay late because we were running paperwork. The next day, Jennifer and our finance manager, Danny, worked on our applications, we were fairly quickly approved and were told we could pick up the car within the terms that we wanted, which was a great deal! We did hit a few speedbumps with paperwork and had to delay the process a couple days, but in the end we still got exactly what we got. Honda should be proud to have these two working for them, they both did amazing work and made our first car buying process wonderful! Thanks guys!

Luisa took the time to explain the differences between the civic and acura. She was very patient as I tried to decide between the two. She then took me to the lot and let me see the colors/interiors. They take care of EVERYTHING for you. Plates, registration and even called my insurance company to make the switch. They did not let me sign and drive the car off the lot. They wanted to make sure everything was perfect when I picked it up. Love this dealership and would highly recommend.

Three years ago, my wife and I found ourselves in a difficult situation. We had recently purchased our first home, had moved out onto the island, and had had our first child, when out of the blue, our car just bit the dust--the cost of repairs far exceeding its value. Not in any kind of great financial situation, we found ourselves in need of two cars! We went to Babylon Honda and John Liggio on the recommendation of a close family friend. We couldnt have ahd a better experience. We had a pretty good idea of what we wanted, but John helped us with aspects of the decision making process we hadnt anticipated. He was so genuine, so open about the positives and negatives of the options we had before us--whether to go with the hybrid for the commuter car, whether to buy or lease on the second car, knowing wed need a bigger car a few years down the line. It was the sort of guidance you expect to get from a friend "on the inside". There was no sense of having been upsold or redirected; it felt like someone was helping you pick out the car you needed, and the financing the you could afford. When our lease was up on the Accord (I went with a Civic for my commuter car), we had another baby and a lot more stuff. We went right back to John Liggio and Babylon Honda. In the years since, Ive never had a second thought about our first purchase or or lease. This time we went with the Honda Odyssey. Again, the experience was like before. No shell game, no high pressure. Theres a real feeling that youre sitting across from a good person in a good shop and making an important, informed decision about the car youre going to buy. It sounds simple, and I think thats how it should be. I would absolutely recommend going there and checking it out. Ask for John Liggio.
"A Quick And Painless Experience"
I dont ever write reviews especially not on cars. This is my second time leasing with Babylon Honda. Both experiences were quick and painless (so to speak). Our sales agent Ted Hanlon went above and beyond when we took delivery from going over the car to giving a new Key chain and a big red bow to put in the car. The service department is even a pleasure to deal with. They dont try to push expensive services on you like other dealership service departments I have dealt with in the past. I will definitely be back in a few years when our lease is up.

When my husband and I entered the dealership, we were immediately greeted and directed to Charlie as being a salesperson who could help us with the car we were interested in (the 2014 Honda CRV). Charlie first showed us the 2014 model in the showroom and then took us on a test drive. When we got back to the dealership, he was very informative and helped us go over the model and various options we wanted for the car. He worked with his manager to get us to a price point that we were more comfortable with. Charlie was very personable and shared funny family stories with us about his children because my husband and I are expecting our first child very soon. When we picked up the car, all the extra options that we requested were ready and installed, and Charlie spent time helping us set up Bluetooth, as well as going over various features. Overall, we couldnt be happier with the dealership and in working with Charlie, and would request working with him should we be in the market for another Honda in the future.

This was my easiest and my best experience buying a car. Both men that I dealt with were extremely nice and helpful. They were NOT pushy which I loved. Mark was my salesman and he was very thorough and insightful. He was able to answer every question I had. John was my finance guy and he too was very thorough with my paperwork and explained my credit and all my options. He was very helpful with any questions I had. Both men were extremely knowledgeable and just sincerely the nicest men I have ever dealt with when buying a car. Since I was buying a pre-owned car, this dealership made sure everything was up to par from the brakes to the battery to the oil change. I was shown the car fax report so that I can see that the car was not involved in any accidents and I can see that the maintenance was kept up on while the previous owner was leasing the car. We had done our research on used cars and decided we would look into a used Honda CRV. Our last three cars were Nissans. We had not been to Babylon Honda for over 15 years because the last time we were there, we had a bad experience with one of the salesmen. This time it was totally different. We went to the dealership close to closing time because we just wanted to look; we didnt want to have anyone approach us, but John came out and was very friendly. We started chatting and we felt at ease immediately. We said we would be back again and he gave us his schedule. When we returned several days later, John acted as if we were old friends. We went for a test drive and I was very impressed on how knowledgeable he was about his vehicles. Two days later, I drove off the lot with my "new to me" CRV. I love the car and have recommended the dealership and John to my family and friends. It was by far the best experience I have ever had buying a car. It is very obvious how much John loves his job and Honda because of his friendly and upbeat demeanor during the whole experience. We will definitely return to Babylon Honda in the future.

"Babylon Honda Not Your "typical" Car Dealership"
If you are like me and dread the whole buying a new car process because of the typical antics that occur at most dealerships...then look no further than Babylon Honda and in particular, my salesperson Harold Steinberg. Harold is the consummate professional and there was zero sales pressure. Moreover, he is genuinely nice. On the day I had to pick up my new CRV I was running over 2 hours late and I called Harold to let him know - he was so gracious and he waited for me to arrive and once I did - he patiently walked me through every feature of my new CRV - he even set up my smart phone to the cars blue tooth! Then wanted to go the extra mile and set up all my Radio presets too! Harold made sure all the accessories I ordered were installed on my CRV and he had my car prepped to perfection hours before pick up - he kept in touch with me every step of the way which resulted in the smoothest and fastest car purchase I ever experienced. I shopped at 6 different dealerships prior to Babylon Honda...which resulted in a lot of aggravation and wasted time. Do yourself a favor...if you want a Honda (in my opinion who wouldnt) go to Babylon Honda and specifically ask for Harold- you will save yourself a lot of stress. My husband and I just recently traded in our car for a Honda Odyssey, which we got a great deal on. Our sales professional was Mark Faiber who, in our opinion, was one of the best salesman weve dealt with at a dealership. At no point during the sale did we feel rushed or pressured into buying our vehicle and he was very patient and understanding of all of our concerns. Mark was very knowledgeable, giving good advice and plenty of information about the Odyssey and always answered our questions. We have bought cars previously from other dealerships and have not had the same experience. From the minute my husband and I entered the showroom we were treated like valued customers. Our salesman, Gary Schwimmer, was fabulous. We never felt pressured, he answered all our questions, took us on a test drive of the CRV and was extremely knowledgeable and honest. We financed the vehicle and spoke with John Symkowski, a true gentleman and extremely knowledgeable as well. Both men made us feel like we were the most important people in the showroom and we truly feel like we got a great deal on the CRV. When we came to take ownership of the CRV, Gary came in, just for us, even though it was his day off. The car was ready, perfectly prepped and included all the accessories that we had ordered. Gary showed us how to operate the electronics in the vehicle and spent a considerable amount of time with us to be sure we were happy and understood all aobut the vehicle. He had all the paperwork ready as well and even introduced us to the service manager. John, who we spoke to about financing and the extended warrantee, was there as well to greet us and answer a few questions that we had since it was the first car we have ever financed. He was patient and thorough and, like Gary, greeted us when we arrived to pick up the car. As a matter of fact, everyone in the showroom with whom we spoke seemed genuinely happy for us and congratulated us on our purchase. With this caliber of people, it is a pleasure to recommend this dealership! By the way, we absolutely love the CRV.
"Charged Me 1.5 Hrs Of Work When It Took 1/2 Hr!"

I told them i just bought the part from another honda dealer but they didnt have time to install it for me. I needed it done right away, I was going camping that day and needed to tow a camper. The service guy said yes, they could do it, bring it in. I asked how much to install it? He could not find a price for me, installation for just the lighting harness was not in the computer system. He could only find installation price for installing the trailer hitch plus the lighting harness, which takes 1.5hrs. I called 3 honda dealers, they all said it takes 1/2 hour to install the light harness. When I arrived, the service guy said it was going to take 1.5 hours to install, a total of $179.00. I asked him where in the computer does it say that? he couldnt find it, 3 different service men could not find it in the system. one guy even told me the back bumper had to come off. well, i watched and timed them. i saw them bring my car in, they did the 3 recalls on it first, took them 1/2 hours (they told me 45 minutes). then i saw the mechanic climb in the back seat and raise the mini van rear door. after they had some fun and picked up a little mechanic and placed him in the cargo area to see if he fit (he did), then they started to work on the lighting harness. when i saw him close the rear door, i knew he was done. he called me over to show me where he placed the connection part. took him 1/2 hr to install the light harness. they did 3 recalls plus installation of the light harness in 1 hr. but i was charged 1.5 hrs worth of work? and by the way, they never removed the back back like that service guy told me. when i went to pay, they charged me for the 1.5 hours of labor. i told them, so youre still gonna charge me for the 1.5 hrs, when it took him 1/2 an hour? he said thats what it costs. update your computers with the real installation times and prices. stop ripping off people.

"Terrible Customer Communication, Terrible Followup"
I dont get it! They have lots of good reviews and none as bad as mine. Saw a Honda accord on Internet I was interested in looking at. Went down there, saw "Phil" the salesman outside who showed me where to find the car. A no pressure, easy experience, and I told him Id let him know. It was all downhill after that. I had "Janet" from customer relations call me first, she sounded nice on her message to make "appointment" to look at the car, then after I saw the car I got a call from "Anthony" who answered all my questions and promised to do right by me and said he had another car I might be interested in too which now I doubt ever existed, then I had the Internet manager take over when there was what I call poor customer communications issues by both of them . He promised to do right by me too. He said 2nd car Anthony told me about was a 2008 not a 2009 as Anthony had said, said hed e mail me next day a group of cars he thinks Id be interested in and he never did. He sent me the car fax I requested on that 2008, but the car fax he sent was for a 2010 not the 2008! Then got e mail from Anthony again saying I was in "good hands" with the Internet service manager. Meanwhile I had e mailed "Janet" to find out who I should be dealing with to buy a car? Phil? Antony? Her? Internet manager? I asked that she call me, she never did. After that last e mail from Anthony I told him forget it. Their customer communication was terrible, not following through with what they said they would do, not returning e mail, not returning calls. He e mailed me back and made it "sound" like agrees with me and understands that Ill be looking elsewhere.i dont know how they sell cars based on my 1 week experience but I guess they do. It wont be to me though.

I was extremely impressed with the care and professionalism displayed by Luisa Garfinkel when I arrived to price and purchase my new Honda Pilot Touring. Luisa took notes on everything I wanted on the new vehicle and noted all of my needs in regards to how I wanted to pay for the car and when I would be able to accept delivery. Luisa took me to the yard so I could see the vehicles and colors that were in stock and she was thoroughly knowledgeable about all of the features and functions of the vehicle. She far exceeded my expectations after having had a bad experience at Honda City where they bungled my first attempt to purchase a new pilot and subsequently being very dissatisfied with my experience at Millenium and Valley Stream Honda associates. I purchased and received delivery of my new Pilot on the same day. I paid in full as I indicated and received the best customer service I have ever experienced anywhere. I will have no problem referring all of my friends and associates to Luisa at Babylon Honda whenever one of them wants to purchase a new vehicle. I am thoroughly pleased with my experience and especially with my sales person. I own a Communication and Surveillance company and we like to think of it as a relationship where your word is your bond, this Dealership exhibits the same standard. Previously I had attempted to purchase the same car from Honda City in Levittown, however when I arrived to finalize my purchase 2 items were not on the invoice. I did not purchase the car from Honda City because of their failure to rectify their oversight in an acceptable manor.

In general all members of the staff are courteous and helpful. Our salesman worked with us on price and availability. We were hoping to get a certain color. But it wasnt available at first. He made an extra effort to get the color we wanted with the EX trim that we wanted. This is the second time we have leased from Babylon Honda, and we are satisfied with the experience. Our salesman was Harold Steinberg and we feel very comfortable dealing with him. Also, on the few occasions dealing with the service people, they are excellent. From the initial phone call to doing the work.
