My engine light popped on Thursday night on my way home, tried to make an appointment online that evening for Saturday but it was booked. I called the service desk and left a message and much to my delight i received a called back within the hour, i was transferred to Mary who told me to bring it in on Saturday morning but i would have to leave it and they would get to it during the day. She was very helpful and accommodating. Came in @ 7:30am and let Mary know that I could not manage a ride home so i would have to wait for it - however long it takes. Signed the pre-authorization and was informed it was going to be a $129 charge to check the engine light. I signed it as i needed the car fixed and also the oil changed. I went for a walk and was called at 9:24 that the car was done, it was basically an emissions sensor that was triggered, nothing to be fixed or repaired, the technician reset the code. I was extremely happy with Mary and the service/communication and response time. That being said i was more than a little taken aback by the $129 check engine light service charge. I purchased the car from Huntington Chevrolet and have been maintaining (oil changes) at the dealership, since that time. Not sure what can be done at this point but possible a $100 credit towards future service would not be out of the question. thank you
