"Multiple Problems, No Ones Returned My Calls"

Good luck getting anyone to help you after they have your money....... Went into the dealership to return my girlfriends currently (at the time) leased Jeep Wrangler early and looking to lease a grand Cherokee limited. The dealership offered to pay off the remainder of her lease and put her into a new car. Due to other circumstances we were unaware of exactly how many months were left on the lease, however the wrangler was leased through East Hills and they had her paper work in their system. After working out a deal for the new grand Cherokee the car came in with the wrong interior color; we wanted saddle brown and it came in a light tan, which was the only color we spoke about strongly disliking. The salesman then began to repeatedly tell us that we had asked for tan, and that he knew his Jeep models and this color isnt available in this model, attempted to undermine the customer. After much deliberation and us asking to put the license plates back onto her wrangler and leaving, The sales manager Brett then took over the sale and got us into a Jeep with black interior and a few more options for the same price (very nice, or so we thought). About a month ago we began getting contacted from the bank that the old lease was never paid off. After leaving between 7-10 messages with East Hills that went unanswered over a span of almost three weeks I showed up there. I was given proof that East Hills sent the bank a check, only to later find out that they paid 3/5 months left on the lease. The dealership knew that we didnt know how many months were left on the old lease and wrote up the contract knowing that we would be liable for the last two months of a car we havent had since February. It has now been over a month since the start of this, I have spoken to both sales managers (Brett and Steve) but none of them seem to follow through with anything or return any messages you leave for them. They also appear to never be at their desks or available to return a phone call. My girl friend has now been handed over to collections and her credit score has been impacted because of all this. Feel free to give kohl a call, youve been given my cell number multiple times. On another note, they completely messed up my girlfriends wrangler paperwork and we had to fight with the leasing company about a soft top that they wanted us to return but we had never even gotten. There have been multiple problems since the start of this and no one at Jeep seems to care. Save the apologies because you clearly dont care about your customers once our money is in your pockets.

I saw an ad from East Hills Chrysler for a Chrysler Pacifica that we have wanted and it seemed too good to be true. I spoke to Fred on the phone and he said he still had it available. He had the Pacifica waiting for us when we arrived and drove it. we made the deal and arranged to pick it up the next day. Fred was very professional and courteous in taking care of us when we went to pick up the Pacifica. He pointed out many features in the Pacifica that we did not even know were there and showed us how to use them.

I looked online for a certified Wragler earlier this month and East Hills had several that I liked. I went in and was greeted by FRED and he showed me the wranglers I was interested in. We went for a test drive and he explained all the features and was very patient with all my questions. I was in the market looking for a Wrangler, called these guys and checked their dealership out. Usually places avoid test driving cars once they know you are not going to buy it right that day(ridiculous), however over here I was being helped by Saeed and he had no issue taking me on a test drive. The jeep was great, but i wanted the tow hitch, which they didnt have and I was so happy that they went out of their way to get that for me within a week. When it came to financing, I think I got a great deal on the price, this place has a good inventory and can get you what you need, also the staff is very nice! I am an old school guy, all these new cars have a lot of gadgets and functions, everyday I am discovering knew functions in my Jeep.

My wife and I were recently involved in attempting to purchase a cpo Grand Cherokee from this dealership. Since we were traveling from CT, we placed a deposit on the vehicle and went to see it in person. After a bit of negotiating, we were given a palatable offer for our trade-in, and we came up with a mutually agreed upon price for the Grand Cherokee as well. We were given a printout of the breakdown of cost including taxes. I spoke with the sales person two days prior to picking up the car and was told that the price would be higher (which would effect the monthly payments). His excuse was the sales manager didnt include the taxes into the final price of the Grand Cherokee. I told the sales person that when I spoke to the sales manager, I specifically asked him what was the bottom line price of the car because we were securing outside financing. I also told the salesman that the print out he emailed me showed the taxes were included. The salesperson just told me that their "new" price was the best they could do, and if we werent willing to pay the new increased price, they would refund our deposit. I have purchased more than 10 cars from various dealerships, and never had an experience like this, like charging us $45 for gas to put into the vehicle! This entire process took two weeks to go through. And after wasting all of this time and effort attempting to secure this vehicle, I feel like the salesman and sales manager did not care. I would not recommend anyone to use this dealership. And if you do, beware of the all of their prices and what they are attempting to charge you.
