I called about buying a traverse. I was prepared to finance or pay cash. I was told a rep would call. Nobody called. 2 days later I called again. They knew which car I was calling about, since they had my phone number in their system. I told them Nobody had called. I was told it would be escalated to a manager and was assured I would receive a return call. Nobody called. I got an email asking about my buying experience. I replied that I had not received a response to any of my calls, and asked why it was so difficult to buy from them. From looking at it seemed to have a very large selection I however I was never able to even look around. After i spoke to a sales rep. (i forget his name) I was immediately taken into what I assume was a processing room filled with other customers and other sales rep. Needless to say it was loud to the point it was hard to concentrate. The sales rep never even took me to view the cars I had asked him about. I have seen a posting in Cars.com and called them for details and also informed to provide accurate information as we need to drive 160 miles to this dealership. They said vehicle is in very good condition and has lot of inventory at the same price. They started with the process of finance first even after several attempt requesting to show the vehicle. Asked several times to confirm if they are only doing soft check for credit history they confirmed only soft check, but I did see in credit monitoring services they have run a hard check. Called to ask why they did a hard check, kept transferring calls and no response from finance manager. After that they had taken us to the vehicle, it clean car fax but the vehicle had an accident and the representative informed it will cost minimum of 5000 to fix. Then he started taking us to other vehicles not even one was in good shape all had some sort of body issues. They just wasted our time. There is no match in what the sales person said and the finance manager said about warranty and services. The prices of the other vehicles offered was higher than the dealership certified vehicles. Just waste of time and money visiting this dealership.

Overall my experience at major Chevrolet was great. My salesman, angelo was very helpful. I wasnt sure if I was going to lease or finance. Angelo gave me my options and wound up leasing. I expected to get an older car, 2015, but wound up leasing a brand new 2016 chevy malibu. They had a good amount of malibus to choose from, colors, different trim levels. Angelo did a great job and I was able to leave with the car the same day which is always a plus. Id definitely come back to this dealership and refer them to any and everyone I know.

Saw major advertising from Major World and paid them a visit. This is an old school dealership, lots of tactics to get you to make a trade and is nothing like the tech savvy experience that car buying is turning into. I dont want to sound pompous but I could not tell if the average buyer here had done much research, and appeared to be looking for a change more than seeking value. Prices I initially got quoted were about the same as new car prices. And what really got me annoyed were advertisements in the papers for specific cars, that turned out to have serious damage to the body work. I wont be going back.

This place it terrible. I walked in and just felt creeped out. The "salesman" was on his phone or was talking to other staff members the whole time. The cars were dirty inside and out.

As me and my family approach into the lot we was greeted right away by sales person name Ruben. Right away he asked what we was looking for and started helping us took us to the office to take some information down. After short time we was lookino for cars we did 3 picks then went back to the office to see the finance manager name Federico who was also very helpful. He did everything possible for us to walk out with the car we wanted the same day. They helped us every step of the way to make it a easy process. With in hour or two our car was ready for us to take it home. Highly recommend anyone looking to buy a new or used car to come into major world. Drove from belmar NJ with my fiancé for an appointment to see a 2012 Grand Cherokee she wanted . Got there and the sales guys first kept trying to have me trade my car in. Waited for the salesman for our appt 40 minutes went by until I finally got some help and it was a "manager" who didnt want to help me because I wont sign a paper to have them run my credit. Horrible customer service and I would never go back .

I can surely tell you these people dont waste any time. It was an in and out process once you have found what you are looking for. I was VERY HAPPY this time around. I was upset at first and when the mechanic found the problem I was very shocked to find out it was only a fuse. I went to both my mechanic and my Dads mechanic for a NYSI and neither one could find the problem with my car. When I showed up at Major I was upset and when Jonathan Diaz advised me it was a fuse I told my Dad "no more with either one of our mechanics Im sticking with Major World" Thank You Very Much now I have A/C, heating, and Defrost which I definitely need when it rains.
