Leo, David and Patrick were the people I delt with during my visit to Oldsaybrook Hyundai. Leo greeted us when we walked through the door and after explaining the car I was interested in, he introduced us to David. David was so incredibly nice, friendly and helpful while finding the perfect vehicle for me. He was so knowledgeable regarding every question about any car I asked about. Patrick made me feel very comfortable and at ease when signing all the paper work. That was so important to me. He took the time and explained every form to me and answered all of my questions. After having visited two dealerships prior to stoping by Oldsaybrook Hyundai, I was impressed at how clean and spotless the showroom and cars all were. I had a deposit put down at a different dealership and still chose to go with Oldsaybrook Hyundai. Thats how much of a wonderful experience I had with them. I just couldnt get over how comfortable they all made me feel. To say I had a great first time car buying experience at Oldsaybrook Hyundai is an understatement.

Hyundai and especially Hyundai of Old Saybrook must be doing something very right because iIn the course of three weeks I leased a new Genesis AWD sedan and bought a new Santa Fe Sport AWD for my wife. Before I visited the dealership I did my homework and knew exactly what I wanted. I also knew what would be a fair price for both the dealer (dealers shouldnt work for free) and for myself. The ball was now in Hyundai of Old Saybrooks court. I was not dissapointed. Every person I met from the initial handshake to the delivery of each vehicle was friendly, knowledgeable and eager to serve. Mike, my salesperson, couldnt do enough to keep me happy. Missing from the entire dealership experience was the high pressure mentality found at far to many other dealerships these days. If you dont like the store and its people its hard to like what theyre selling. Well, I liked Mike, the Hyundai product line and Old Saybrook Hyundai. If you live in the area, are interested in a Hyundai you need to stop in and see how accurate my review is. RB

I had the best car buying experience ever at Old Saybrook Hyundai! From start to finish! My salesperson Peter was very knowledgeable. He walked my wife and I through the process making it so easy. The management team was very honest and gave us the best deal. We have had some very bad experiences with dealers in the past so we were very nervous. The Finance Manager showed us all our options and tailored our loan the meet our needs perfectly. I will recommend this dealer to everyone!

Im giving the customer service five star for the salesperson that worked with us. The buying process is rated 1 star for the sales manager trying to slip gap insurance into our sales agreement after I told him multiple times that we didnt want it. I also did not appreciate the multiple comments he made under his breath about being foolish to not buy extra protection, nor did I appreciate him telling my fiancee right next to me to ignore my decision and not to worry about $10 a month - which, over the course of a loan is hundreds of dollars. Perhaps it truly was a "misunderstanding" as he put it, but I disagree with his assertion that it was "not a big deal." I sincerely doubt that Hyundai Financial would have let us out of this agreement, had we not noticed the higher payment just before signing. I will not purchase from this dealer again nor will I recommend it to others.

When I shop for a new car I do more than average research. I often enter the dealership with more product knowledge than the sales associates received in product training. Long short is that I dont really listen to any hard sell or boiler plate brochure recitals so common in dealerships these days. Entering Old Saybrook Hyundai I was greeted by an entire staff that made me feel as if I was the dealerships best friend. My salesperson and his manager quickly checked their unsold inventory and asked which of those cars I might be interested in looking at. All unsold inventory were presentable, remarkably clean and ready to be demonstrated. After letting my fingers search out and operate the many features I knew were part of the car I wanted to test drive I noticed that my salesman had remained quiet but at the same time completely attentive. When I asked him questions about a few of the cars features I was unclear with he had the answers. He obviously new his product line very well. The rest of the sales process went just as smoothly. When I returned to the dealership the day after delivery to collect an item Id left in my trade in I once again was greeted with warm and honest smiles. I forgot to mention that my 2015 loaded Genesis sedan is a remarkable automobile.
