I drove down from Vermont to purchase a 2015 VW Beetle. The car was in showroom condition, Jonathan was knowledgeable, professional, and a pleasure to work with. The sales process was handled quickly and I was soon headed back to Vermont. Great price! No comparison to going into a new car dealership. I will return for my next car.

I spent weeks trying to find a newer car with a great price. I found this place and they had just what I was looking for. My fiancé and I showed up and looked around the lot. The salesmen Arthur and Jonathan were patient and answered every question we had. It felt like we were friends for years. The buying process was a breeze and we are completely satisfied. Definitely will be going here again and telling everyone we know about Hertz Car Sales in Lynn!
"Best Car Buying Experience Ive Had!"
I purchased a Kia Sedona which was priced well below the dealers I looked at for similar miles and exact same features and color. Barry was my sales rep and was very helpful, knowledgeable and seemed to just want to make me happy and not sell me like some of the dealerships do. I was happy to not get the runaround on financing. I went in with pre-approval from my credit union and Hertz did better on the interest rate than my credit union which is excellent. None of the typical "what do you want to pay per month" then you end up with a higher interest rate and longer term. None of that. I looked at the Kia on a Thursday night, did the paperwork (they stayed after closing to get it done - most dealers will use the closing deadline to pressure you into a deal that is not right for you) and then picked up the just cleaned and gassed up van on Friday afternoon. I will go back to them for future purchases without hesitation. The prices are right and they dont use high pressure sales tactics.
"10+ Days To Receive Car Payed For Upfront"
I purchased a car in cash from this dealership on a Thursday. Buying process was quick and painless and the car was a good deal. Sales rep Jonathan was helpful. My only issues with the transaction was the time it took to receive the car. There was a scratch on the hood they were paying to fix. I was told the car would be ready in 3-5 days. On Monday I called the insurance company to let them know the dealership will be handling the new plates, and ended the day with two cars on my insurance (old and new one I didnt have yet). Every day that week after Monday I was told the car would be ready the next day. I work an overnight shift and its tough to schedule times for these sorts of things. I need to plan my days for errands during normal daylight hours. I also needed to make sure a family member or a friend is available to drive me 45 minutes to the dealership each day they said it was going to be ready. Eventually Friday hits and the body shop is closed, they still have the finished car, and they will be closed both days over the weekend. So now I have payed a week of insurance for a Car I dont have, I have cleared my schedule and inconvenienced family/friends for nearly a week of wait it may be done tomorrow. We may have worked out a way to get the car over the weekend with a new key needing to be made. Its unfortunate that it had to come to this though. I only took a star off the overall rating for this miscommunication but if it takes any longer to receive the car I will being taking more stars off. I would also recommend anyone in a hurry to get their new car be very upfront about that need when buying the car.

We were looking for a good car to replace a 2012 Kia Soul that ran into a deer on Rt. 3 and was totaled. We loved that Kia. James is a great salesperson, he listens and gets to know you before showing you the cars. We loved the whole Hertz process, and, since their cars have a bit more mileage on them, I found them to be less expensive than certified used cars sold by other rental agencies.

I bought and paid in cash on Monday and now its Friday and i still dont have my car thats unacceptable!!!! I paid for them to register my car and its five days later still not registered and all my paperwork and insurance has been done so i dont recommend going there!

Due to my car being declared a total loss after a car accident when a driver blew through a stop sign and hit me, I was forced to search for a replacement car. Great customer service. Salesman James was very helpful and made me feel comfortable even though cars salesmen have the reputation of being sketchy and not the most amenable of people. Even Jonathan the other salesman helped out when he could even though he was not invested in the process. Everyone there was helpful at every step. I would give this a perfect score however the buying process moved extremely slowly and there was a lot of pushback, particularly from my own father who was questioning my every move. Grew irascible with the lack to any conscientiousness with time and taking too much time getting things prepared. Im eager to get the car but I really would not want this to occur again. You caught me at a really bad day. Overall, a 4/5.

This was the best car-buying experience we have ever had. The other dealershipside didnt have any prices listed on the cars, wouldnt answer direct questions and harassed us all through the lot- BUT HERTZ WAS DIFFERENT. We met James when we arrived and he introduced himself and asked if we had any questions. All I wanted to do was look around- and he was the first person who said "look around, take your time and if you need me- let me know" and he left us alone! There was a price, milage and other info listed on every car. When we were ready, James answered every question without playing games, was honest and actually kept us within out price range. My husband got a great car and we didnt pay more than we planned. The next day, we brought my brother in law in and he bought a car as well. I was wary about buying a rental- but the car is great, fair price and we even got the extended warranty. If you go there, ask for James, you will definitely be pleased. Hertz should know that they are very lucky to have such a great honest salesman. We have a large family in the area and we will all be using James at Hertz from now on. Thank you!
