"Great Westside Place To Buy/sell Your Next Car!"

I had sold a company pickup truck at a fair price at another Gulliver consignment location several years ago so when it came time to sell a car of my own, i went back to Gulliver. I set up a consultation appt. w/Brett who appraised the car fairly & also took photos which were put on several online car buying sites. Although Gulliver doesnt do consignments as much as they did in the past due to their lot size, as a repeat customer & make/low miles on my car, they made an exception. Bretts communication was excellent via text, emails & phone calls on any updates regarding the car. After several weeks on the lot, a check engine lite came on during a test drive. Brett made arrangements with a local Mazda dealership to have the car serviced & after it was, he returned it to the lot. A few days later, the car sold for just under my asking price.

By far the easiest car buying experience Ive ever had. No pressure, friendly and accommodating (Brett came in on his day off to complete my sale). The car I purchased was ten years old but looked like it just rolled off the assembly line. Will definitely go back when/if Im ever looking for another car.

Brett made this by far the easiest car purchase Ive ever done in my life, and Ive bought about 10 cars from dealerships. Everything was really efficient at Gulliver USA. Im totally happy with my car. Totally happy with the service. The only thing is that I couldnt take the car home the same day as buying it, bc they wanted to put new front brake pads on the car and new filters in the car. I guess I should be happy that they made sure that that stuff got done, which I am. Sssssooooo, Gulliver USA gets my vote. I will definitely send my friends and family to their dealership as a good option for sure.

All I can say is A+ experience for the first time at a dealership. I called Brett from the Cars.com listing. I set an appointment for later that day. I needed a quality car but did not have much time to make it happen. I spent a total of less than 2 hours from the time I arrived to the time I drove away in my 2006 Honda Fit. They gave me a 2 year warranty with the car, plus my first oil change is on them. So I have no worries. Carfax was provided. Inspection paperwork was provided. Its all good. Gulliver USA is the exception when it comes to worrying about buying a car from a smaller, local used car dealership.

I have always been freaked out at the thought of buying a car from a smaller dealer that wasnt really well known. But Gulliver USA has changed my mind on that. Even though the lot is a bit used-car-ish on the outside, the inside is really pleasant and comfortable. They shared everything with me about their inspection of the car, including an issue or two (which they 100% took care of), so that sort of transparency gave me reason to feel like they were not attempting to sell me a car with problems. Everyone was very professional and allowed me to go through the process at my own pace, which took over a week (bc of some scheduling issues that I had). Definitely recommend this dealer in West L.A. :-)

"Just A Nice Experience"

Cool! Im the first to give Gulliver USA a review. :-) Okay, so here it is. I was looking for a used BMW, and I went to several BMW dealerships. All of them were too pushy and too aggressive. I dont know why theyre like that. Anyway, I came across a listing on Cars.com for a BMW 328i at Gulliver USA. I hadnt heard of them before but was quite frustrated with the big dealerships sales tactics. I am thrilled that I gave them a chance. Really comfortable, nice environment. Really nice Sales Manager named Brett was so friendly and did not put even the slightest bit of pressure on me. He showed me all the paperwork that they had on the car, including their inspection document. I never felt like Brett was selling me anything or trying to hide anything. What a difference from my big dealership experiences. He explained everything so honestly and got me a great rate for my loan and with a monthly payment under my shared budget. Oh yeah, I almost forgot. I love my BMW, too. They made a point to tell me they buy their cars from private parties instead of at the auctions. I guess the benefit is that they know more about the history of the car and the prior owner. Before this I would have thought that a BMW dealer would have the cars in better condition than a smaller used car dealer. Live and learn. Thats not necessarily the case. So happy with my dealership experience at Gulliver USA.
