I just purchase a Hyundai Santa Fe Sport at Tustin Hyundai yesterday and want to say thank you to Shawn Brown. We initially spoke when I had questions about a car I saw online. He had no sales pitch, just helpful, honest answers with no pressure. I called him back a couple of days later and he was happy to do some research on questions I had regarding a specific vehicle. I told him I lived in San Diego and didnt want to waste my time driving to Orange County only to find I was being misled. He offered to put a "sold" sign in the vehicle so that it would still be available when I got up there, with no obligation to buy. When I got to the dealership, I felt very comfortable working with Shawn. After just a bit of negotiation, we closed the deal. Doug helped me select my Santa Fe from inventory, no need to go looking, and we made just one pass at negotiating price. I knew what the internet pricing was (like 90% of all buyers do) and got a fair trade in for my 2007 Honda, and that was it. Before I visited Michael Fletcher at Tustin Hyndai, I did not know a Hyndai from a Honda, Mazda, nor any other foreign car. I had not purchased or leased a new car for over 15 years. So I shopped with trepidation. Michael at Tustin Hyundai helped me relax more than any other this month. He furnished to me more details than others, and I felt less pressure from him, while he kept my interest with humor and personal anecdotes. Therefore I returned to him at the end of my quest. He matched the best price I had found after much internet research and visits to both Hyundai and competitor dealerships, including a Costco quote I had initially taken elsewhere. I just bought a beautiful pre-owned Mazda 3 at Tustin Hyundai. I came in with a tight budget, concerns about buying a used car with a good number of miles on it and a specific car in mind that I had seen online and wanted to look at. Elliot Rouff was my salesperson and he was great. We walked right over to the car on the lot, he was able to get me a Carfax to see and keys so we could open the car up and then test drive. The car was in great shape. At the end of the test drive he showed me one more car on their sister lot Tustin Mazda that I had read about and we headed back. Elliot understood my budget concerns and made a great offer. He was supportive when I said I needed a night to think on it as I was commitment nervous! But by the next day I was ready to buy, he made a great financial package for me like he had promised, and he even had the car detailed before I drove off the lot. Wow! Where to begin! I had been searching for months for a used car for my daughter. You know how car shopping is: " A terrible time consuming , Hey whats it gonna take for you to buy the car today " Line of garbage. I started hunting on the net and ran across Mr. Bill Farris at Tusin Hyundai. Mr. Farris was professional, knowlegdable, kind, respectful and most of all NOT PUSHY!. I came in to test drive a used car and ended up leasing a great new car! Honestly this was the best car buying experience of my life ( NO JOKE). We sat for only 45 min and went through all the purchasing options and then I had to leave. He said when you come back it will only take 15 minutes in finance. ( Yeah right! ) It was just that. Everything was done.. No pushy extras, just great info!. Finally, due to my work schedule, I asked if they could keep the car for a few days. He went out of his way to get me all the info. I needed and the condition of the vehicle because I was buying the vehicle sight unseen from out of state. I flew into the airport and Elliot was there to greet me, went to the dealership and after inspecting and driving it I purchased it. I did some research on the Internet and stumbled over TrueCar which gives you a great idea about the discounts and prices available in your era by different car dealerships. The whole buying process using TrueCar was handled by the Internet Sales department (David Monates) and was very smooth. David answered all my questions upfront and was not pushy at all. Once I got to the dealership he explained to me how the pricing with TrueCar works and what finance options were available to me. Overall just a smooth and great experience.

Today on 6/12 I went to Tustin Hyundai to have the Sonata for free car wash and safety recall. I was greeted by a greeter as I pulled over the car in front of the service area. It took only a few seconds with my service manager Martin Aguilar to start the service process as the greeter already took the necessary info from the car. While I was reading books in the guest area, Martin approached me said the recall service was already performed last time I was at the dealership. I was pleased with the proactive service which saved time today and I drove home with the cleanly washed car waiting in front of the guest area. This is my second time going to the Tustin Hyundai dealer to get my car serviced. The first time I did not make an appointment and my recall on my car was done in less than one hour. I just completed the 30,000 mile service and they gave me a loaner car for the day. Both times I had Martin Aguilar help me and he was fantastic. One of the best workers there, always willing to help others out and make sure the customers service is excellent. I would recommend him to anyone else who goes here. The Hyundai facility is also very clean and all the other staff seem friendly too. This dealership is much better than the Hardin Hyundai in Anaheim.
"Best Hyundai Dealership I Visited, Ask For Elliot"
I went to Tustin Hyundai on a weekend and Elliot from the dealership received me and my friends. He was very patient and explained me about the base and premium packages along with 2T and 3.8 differences. I test drove both 2T base and 3.8 models. After test drive I went back to San Diego asking him for sometime to think about it. He was not pushy and the manager Frank was also friendly explaining about financing options. After a couple of weeks, Elliot followed up with me and I mentioned about the price quote I got at a local dealer in San Diego. Once I forwarded the copy of price quote I got, Elliot followed up with me and told that he would match the OTD price. When I went back the following weekend, Elliot have the vehicle ready for me and the finance person Sheryl had finished all the paperwork within 30 min. She explained me about additional warranty but was never pushy. She also worked with my credit union directly. When I went back the next day(which was yesterday) to drive back my new car, Elliot once again explained me everything with a short demo on the safety features. Ask for Elliot Rouff when you visit the dealership. Among the 3 dealerships I personally visited, Tustin treated me so nicely without being pushy, compared to other dealerships where they change their tone once you say you are not going to buy today. Btw I came to know that Elliot was a professional racer in 70s (I was surprised to know that). I worked with Elliot, Frank and Sheryl from Tustin and all three are super friendly.
