I went here at 40 weeks pregnant to trade in my CRV for a Honda Pilot since I had a positive experience leasing my CRV through Honda of Tenafly. After much negotiation to get a similar deal that another dealership was offering (although not quite as good but I liked the feel of the smaller dealership and the salesman seemed honest and kind) but was told I would have to wait for them to order a Pilot as none were in stock. I was assured by the finance worker that the lease offer could only improve by waiting for a car to come in. Fast forward to yesterday I was told the Pilot had arrived and I had to come in to the dealership for them to look at my CRV again and "rework the numbers." After dragging my two week old out in the rain I was informed that my monthly payment went up $38/month for the same car in 3 weeks time!!! They insisted the value of the crv dropped in 3 weeks time which accounted for the increased payment. Why they couldnt tell me that over the phone rather than waste my time going back to the dealership is beyond me. Needless to say, Honda of Tenafly lost a loyal Honda customer and I will never return to this dealership. I will also be sure to spread the word to other Bergen county moms about my experience!!

Service at Honda has ALWAYS been a GREAT experience. Even though I did not buy my Honda in Tenafly, because they did not stock my vehicle of choice at the time, their service department has been INCREDIBLE. The prices are more than fair and they dont try to replace parts unless its ABSOLUTELY necessary. I will be looking for a new vehicle soon and look forward to purchasing it at Honda of Tenafly

Shopping for a vehicle is one of the hardest thing to do. After going to various Honda locations, I decided if the last one, which was Honda of Tenafly, did not work out, I will go to a different dealership altogether. To this day, I am extremely happy that it all worked out . As they say, everything happens for a reason. The service was impeccable!!!! I had the pleasure of having Bryan as my salesman. He was patient and listened to every detail of the vehicle I was looking for and delivered. I love Honda of Tenafly for their services, location and how genuine they are. One of the best things said to me by Rick, who works in Finance was "let us work for you and get you the best deal. No need to rush it." You do not hear that often. Glad I listened to him. I love my vehicle and I am overly happy my search brought me to Honda of Tenafly. Thank you Bryan and Rick. You guys were awesome!!!!!

i went in to get my car check due to my check airbag system light, they said that my car was fine and that they didnt find anything wrong with my car and that it was "a glitch" so when i picked up my car i thought everything was fine.. in less than 24 hours my check airbag system light went on again. I find it extremely tedious to go back and forth for the same thing. I would like to have a dealership that i can trust.

I recently visited Honda of Tenafly to have my car service. I have always received excellent services at Honda of Tenafly. It is conveniently located and the waiting area is beautiful, very clean, and comfortable. You can watch television, read a magazine, and/or enjoy a nice cup of coffee while waiting. The staff are professional, and very friendly. I have recommend Honda of Tenafly to family members and friends, and will continue to recommended it to anyone looking for excellent services and a great car.

"Prompt And Thorough Service Time And Time Again"
Convenient hours (my favorite - open as early as 7:00 a.m. every weekday and Saturday). Never waited more than a couple of minutes for a CS rep. Waiting room is comfy and coffee and hot fresh bagels service, making the wait a pleasure. If need for any additional work is discovered during servicing the car, it is always explained and your options are layed out clearly for your decision. I really dont know what else I could wish for in a car dealership.

In June 2013, I signed up at Honda of Tenafly for a Honda Fit EV not knowing how drawn out the process would be. After 13 long months, Honda delivered my Fit EV to Tenafly. During that time, the staff at Honda was patient with my monthly calls. When Jerry Holmes called me to give me the good news I was quite surprised. Jerry carefully prepared me for the transition to the Fit EV; the special features for electric drive and the nuances of Hondas navigation system. Along with this attention came the installation of two charging stations at the dealership. I am very pleased with my choice of Honda of Tenafly, the Fit EV, and Jerry Holmes as my guide to electric vehicles. He was well trained, attentive to my questions and always ready with a smile.

They gave me a good price on a certified used CR-V without any haggling. But when I went to pick up the car, they kept me waiting for half an hour to see the business manager to sign all the papers, while repeatedly promising that he would be with me in just a few minutes. They did not call me when my plates were ready, as they had promised to do. I didnt get the plates until I called to find out why it was taking longer than they had promised.

Overall excellant place to buy a car. I gone through many dealerships and people were very much focused to push pressure on buying a car, which makes me uncomfortable. But when I visited Honda of tenafly, I got all support, guidance. I deal with Herbie Rosario and Ray and both are excellant in supporting me to by this car. Bought a used 2011 Honda Pilot. Had a little scare after taking it home, we thought there was something wrong with it but apparently we had just drained the battery by "playing with" all of the electronics while the motor wasnt running. :-( It seems these newer cars cant handle that for too long. In any case, they had someone in my driveway jump-starting the truck about 20 minutes after I called. So far the dealership has lived up to its reputation. The salesman couldnt have been more low-pressure, and the service is very responsive. It can make a huge difference who you buy your car from--you may be having a long relationship with these people. Be sure to look at the dealer ratings as an important part of your decision where to get your next vehicle. PS: This is a real review from a real customer. I was skeptical of some of the reviews on here myself, but I can vouch for this one! ;-)

Came in for new front tires, and although it was first thing in the morning, everyone was very polite and helpful. We got everything set and the car was taken in and worked on. They offered complimentary bagles and coffee, and the waiting room was packed at 7:30 am. No one was complaining, and the chairs were very comfy to relax in. The car was finished when promised and very smooth no hassle check out. I highly recommend Tenafly, as I tried to make an appointment with the other dealer on 17 in Ramsey, and they are to say the least not helpful or friendly.

I cannot begin to tell you the Awsome experience we had with our CRV. Greg Ashbahian, our salesperson, was straight up and honest about pricing, fees, taxes you name It!!! No last minute surprises or any silly "oh, by the way there is this fee and this cost". None of that at all. Greg explained all aspects of the vehicle. He took the time to review the vehicle features with my son... And even asked him if he wanted to go through it a second timr... Just in case. Really nice man and very caring about making sure we were happy. Cant ask for anything more than that!!! Oh, did I also mention the coffee machine.... Very nice and the coffee was tasty!!... Just make sure you place your cup on the left dispenser!!!! Overall we were really happy with Greg, the dealership and of course the CRV.

I bought my Accord from this dealer 10 years ago and would never consider having it serviced anywhere else. The service agents explain everything they suggest that you have done at a particular visit and give you choices on whether or not you want to wait to attend to the less urgent items. As a result of the regular oil changes and service visits, my car is running just about as well as it did when I first took it home in 2003, and thats about the best review I can give them. Also, if you get there in the morning, they offer free, amazing bagels, as well as complimentary rides home if the mechanics need a long time with your vehicle.

I have been coming to this dealership since I bought my first Accord here over ten years ago. Ive always beem impressed with the service and expertise of both the sales and service department. I recently leased a 2013 Honda Accord XL and am totally in awe of the styling, craftsmanship, drive and comfort in this vehicle. My salesperson, Igor, took me for a drive in the car and I knew immediately that this was the car for me. Horrible experience with Tenafly Honda. Yes I got the car I wanted but am stilling waiting on the plates! My temp tag expired on the 8th of August and I get the runaround from Julio Cabrera. Not to mention I traded in my vehicle and am still getting calls saying my payment is due and the loan hasnt been paid yet. Horrible customer service! They say they will make it up to me but nothing has been done.

I was looking for a used car. I saw some thing that I liked. I called them and Julio answered the call. I requested him to finalize the price since the dealership was a 2 hour drive. Julio understood the situation and worked over the phone with me to finalize the price. Once we agreed on the price, I went there, took it for test drive. I like it and bought it. Other than my driving time, the whole buying process was 30 mins and I got a pretty good deal as well. You can not beat that. Only thing, I asked them for a Honda all weather mat which I did not get.
