A few weeks ago I went to purchase a new car for a friend who didnt know what shes wanted. I encountered Jean Shim and she was excellent in providing me with options on cars and features important to my friend. Jean was so dedicated that when car I wanted go test drive was not on the lot, she made arrangements to go to the off site lot to pick up the car and bring it back so I could test drive it. Jean seems to be an instrumental Park of the sales staff at RT 22 Honda.

My experience was great until I gave them my money. Ive had problem after problem but the biggest was having an expired temporary plate and registration. Still to this day no plates! Ive been back and forth called numerous times ( just to be left on hold for an hour at a time) the day before they expired I showed up again to be told my plates were here but they cant find them¿ So I drove home on the expired ones. They offered to pay any tickets I got because of it SMH Im here yet again over an hour for the same thing. I feel like I was taken advantage of because Im a young African American woman. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. PLEASE STAY AWAY!!!!!

I was so HAPPY with service that I got from Honda Route 22. I thought, I would spend my whole day to buy a car because all my friends had that experience. But my salesman Ralph Mosley was great, he made things more simple, no pressure. He also explained everything so clear and detail when I had a question. I just spend 4-5 hours in this dealerships. He even helped me by renting a car which I dont need to pay that I could use for my family trip on Memorial Day (from May 27 to May 29) because Im from New York and I got a temporary plate for my Honda Odyssey EX-L which expired on May 22, 2017. If I didnt have that rented car, I would cancel my family trip. Although, I still havent get my registration plate until now, Im still happy because I know this is DMVs fault. Thank You, Ralph! I will recommend Ralph and Honda Route 22 to everyone that I know!

Got a lease 3 years ago from this dealership when my credit wasnt very good so cannot complain about that and when I turned in the lease a few weeks ago was extremely happy with the results. I had built up good credit with Honda and my salesman Ralph Moseley was attentive, listened to my goals, and very professional and helpful! Didnt try to give the runaround and was on point with what we could do moving forward without the hassle or haggling I was half expecting. I would highly recommend that if you visit this dealership ask for Ralph! Adel in financing was awesome as well and got me a great deal on financing a new Accord where I thought Id end up in another lease so the experience was left me with a great feeling about this dealership and staff so forgive all my future car buying and/or service needs Ill be heading back to Route 22 Honda in Hillside. Ill keep this brief. Ive leased 4 vehicles and helped family with a few others and have never had the horrible experience I had at Route 22 Honda. I was told about vehicles that were unavailable, had my credit run several times, hung up on, lied to, unable to drive my vehicle for a week after purchase and much more. I would warn those who are in the market to use caution with this dealer. I for one will never go to route 22 Honda again.

I went to the dealership because my father in law bought his accord there. We were greeted very warmly and our salesman Ace was amazing. He walked me through each step with exact information on the buying process. He took in consideration of what I was looking for which was a Pilot and I walked out with a gorgeous Pilot that my family loves with its DVD player and third row seating. Ace was very attentive and wanted to get the job done which he did. Great personality and put the needs of my family first. Definitely thinking about getting another Honda soon from them and Ill definitely make sure I work with Ace again

I got a call from route 22 honda regarding civic.it was the last day of the month and i had a quote from a different dealership but the car wasnt Vaulable.The salesperson ptomised that they would beat it and get me the car in 2 weeks. As i walked in to he dealership i was greeted by the receptionist and a sales guy was assigned. He cane along with a manager and asked me for a quote and left once i gave it. Thy cane back saying the vehicle isnt available. I said i want to order ut as the lady over the phone said the car can be pre booked. The sales person said that isnt an option which was understandable as there could be some kind of miscommunication. I told the same to the manager and look at the level of unprofessionalism "Yes there is no option as such and there is nothing else apart from what my salesperson has told already" "If you had another deal then why didnt you come to this store just because somebidy told you over the phone" "Im leaving now i dont know why youre here when you had a better deal" "You can lodge a complaint about this experience. I dont know where or to whom" And he denied to give his name or card or any such details. This was by far the worst conversation ive ever had. Forget the deal.. how about some manners? Or atleast minimum courtesy while talking to a customer.

This was our second time leasing a vehicle from Route 22 Honda. My wife and I felt very comfortable returning to this particular dealership and leasing another vehicle. We were greeted at the door, offered something to drink and introduce to our salesperson Ralph Mosley who we connected with right away. We were told of Hondas new no hassle everything up front program. Actually everyone we met there were happy and professional, we felt no pressure. This was our 4th purchase from Hillside Honda over the past 7 years. Previous salesmen, Joel and Freddie were both promoted so we had a new salesman BUT Freddie guided us every step of the way. our car had a scratch above the front bumper, so we were asked to bring it back so that the service center could work on it. After picking it up, youd NEVER KNOW that scratch was ever there. THEY DID AN AMAZING JOB! We will be back AGAIN for our 5th purchase VERY SOON!
