Terrence was very professional and knowledgeable when it came to the Mazda I was looking to purchase. He encouraged me to go one model higher then I wanted for my Mazda CX-5, and I dont regret it, all the extra safety features are nice to have! He had a sense of humor and if he didnt know the answer to a question he quickly found it out. Everyone I worked with in the process was very nice and easy to talk to! Went specifically to this Dealership to see a particular certified pre - owned they had on their lot. Spoke with a salesman the night before to comfirm availability and about pricing as this vehicle was listed a few thousand above market comparison to other similar vehicles in the area. Was told "there is wiggle room and we are here to make a deal". Test drove vehicle, began to discuss pricing and there was Zero "wiggle". Then when they offered to take money off, turns out they were just taking off the 200$ etching fee as required by CT state law and preferred by Insurance. Vehicle still sit there on the lot. Talked to as though I were just another idiot female. Bought from another dealership. Love my car!

Why bother listing a vehicle when you ask for what they want for the vehicle. And all they do is keep pushing you to go there. Im not going to drive over an hour to their dealership when I cant even get the asking price of a vehicle.

The service department treated me superbly. I also want to express my extreme satisfaction with the car I purchased in May on 2015, but not with the administrative blunder that resulted in my new car being registered for a paltry 3 weeks, then being pulled over two weeks ago to discover I had to come up with an ADDED registration fee, with late charge ($100) to correct the issue. Fortunately the New London Police department was kindly to me and did not hot me with the severe penalties they could have tacked on. Id have been happier here, with Whaling City Motors absorbing the $100 fee I never should have had to deal with. The expiration date on the registration was rather obscure, but the point is that I should not have had to be on the alert for it. The complete registration fee should have been a given. That is my one complaint. It was an added expense I could not afford, and which Id rather have invested in the brake fees I have coming up instead. (Nicholas Checker)

Buying a certified 2013 Ford Explorer Limited from Daniel Burden; picking it up tomorrow. Ive been around long enough to not fall for or play the usual car salesman games. I didnt feel at all like I was being swindled out of my money. I talked them down on price to where I wanted to be. They offered a couple of extras, which I declined and didnt feel pressured into taking. Dan is easy going, the dealership is clean and neat. I would also like to commend David Schwartz, the business manager. David is an ex-Marine (thank you again for your service), and went over all of the paperwork with an exactness and crispness that relates to his background. Picking the car up tomorrow and I expect that everything will go according to plan.
