Just came home with a 2014 tornado red Jetta Sportswagen purchased with Dave Creccos help and could not be happier. Looked at a couple before we bought this one. Very happy with the car and the dealership. Hated the slick showroom we had been in at another dealer - felt right at home at Gene Langans. Dave was kind and cheerful, informative and patient throughout the process. I had two kids with me on the first trip (we are from the Boston area) and the kids were enchanted by the collection of old VWs (as was I) and the selection of ice cream in the lounge :) They were more than fair with the trade in of our very well-used car that wed been driving for 11 years. Steve was friendly and clear about financing and insurance issues - relatively easy to make decisions with his explanations - he had recommendations but wasnt remotely pushy about financing, warranty options, etc. Gene was also lovely and patient in explaining every detail of the car to me, making sure I was very comfortable before I drove off. Id drive two hours again to purchase from them. Thanks for a very easy, nearly stress-free experience everyone! After being done with my vehicle being serviced he just handed me paperwork and turned around and walked away without summarizing whats been serviced and completed to my vehicle. My family has been buying Volkswagen from Langan for a very long time, and all I can say is that they are the BEST! I bought a brand new 2016 Beetle Classic this past week and I couldnt be more happy. A Great Deal, and easy, as they Registered it, got plates on, and took me on a 45 minute tour of all the features when I picked it up. Everyone there is helpful! Bear in mind that the only reason I bought a new BUG is that after 16 years on the road, 302,000 miles later, my 2001 TDI Beetle that I bought from Langan was showing a little bit of wear and tear, and I just wanted something a little more up to date. The doggone car still runs fine and gets 45 miles to the gallon, on the original clutch! The guy who sold it to me was there at the dealership on Saturday, and said, "Well, I sold you a really good car back then." No Kidding! AND, the service department there provided 95% of all the work over the years. < They also are great! I cant say enough about Langan. I now live in Vermont most of the time but drove down there to buy my new car. Dont hesitate.
