I have a injured/sore shoulder and am 6 3 so I need a seat that really fits me. Stuart actually e-mailed a custom upholstery company photos of the car seat with measurements that would help them do something custom. I actually have a Lexus dealer (Lexus of Manchester NH) 4 miles from my house, but because theyre sales managers Nigel and Ed are so arrogant and pushy I went two hours away to buy my car from Berlincity Lexus in Portland Me. We (My husband, Dave and I) were in North Conway, NH on a short three day get-away. We live in the Burlington, Vermont area. Dave found a 2008 Acura MDX online at Berlin City, that looked like a good deal. We needed a newer SUV to tow our boat for the upcoming summer/boating season. Dave emailed Berlin City first thing on a Saturday morning, and Nick Nadeau, the Salesman, responded with in just a few minutes. He answered all of Davids questions. Then we decided to take the 1 plus hour trip to Portland, to check out the car. Upon arrival we asked for Nick. He was paged and came right away. He was quick, efficient, not-pushy, informative, pleasant, accommodating, and really went above and beyond his regular responsibilities. The extra care he took to make the experience positive and easy for us made a real difference.He himself, took the MDX out back and touched up the trailer hitch with black paint, put some floor mats down, that werent there, looked up the code to the radio, and got it all dialed in, so when we drove away, we could listen to the radio, and just did everything he could to make our MDX as perfect as he could. He even printed out the owners manual, that the previous owner didnt return with the car. He looked up and printed out information on how to obtain a second key for us, and even had the car we came in washed for us. I was amazed! Nick is the best car salesman weve ever come in contact with, and in the future we would drive all the way to Portland, to have him help us with the purchase of a used car again. This is the second car I have purchased from Berlin City. The first car was a Honda Pilot in 2002. The service department at the Honda dealership was always fair, great service and honest and pleasant. I owned that car for nearly 15 years and it had been driven over 280,000 miles. My experience in buying a used Lexus was just as pleasant as my previous experience. Tony, my salesman was very knowledgeable about all the technology, the mechanics of the car. Dan, the general manager was also very helpful regarding the Janus program. There is a very relaxed atmosphere at Berlin City and there was absolutely no pressure. I was able to see any information I was given regarding price etc. on a computer screen specifically there for the customer. I so appreciated the transparency in my used car buying experience. I have recommended Berlin City in the past and will continue to do so in the future. They are a very honest organization!

In regards to the Service Department: Told over the phone total repairs, (made sure to verify both parts AND labor) totaled $198 and change (part was on special for $125, 1/2 hour of labor brought this up to $198). Went to pick up my car and was handed a bill for $306. Went round and round with rep until he corrected my bill to $202 (which included tax). It was such an uncomfortable experience, I will never go back there. My car runs so thats why "quality of repairs" gets 3 stars.

True online buying experience. On the phone with Josh Bisson for 15 minutes and car was at my door step 1000 miles away in 2 days. I did pay $500 for the delivery but a very minimal amount considering the savings I had buying the car. Josh is great and I would highly recommend him and the dealership any day. I would also like to thank the drivers Penny and Barbara who drove the car through a blizzard to have it delivered on time. Great ladies, very friendly. The whole paper work at home was over in 10 minutes.

Our most recent experience with Berlin City and Nick Nadeau was more than a vehicle purchase, it was a life style change for our family. My in laws were at a point in their lives that they needed to downsize from two vehicles down to one. He arranged to have a new Tacoma brought around to a secluded area of the service department do to the outside temperature and away from the crowd, let my parents take as much time as they needed and only offer advice when asked. When the decision was made to trade their two vehicles in for a new Tacoma ( as compromise decision for both of them), Nick arrived early, had all of the paperwork prepared which made the sales transaction time to take less than twenty minutes. I cannot say enough good things about Berlin City Toyota. Their customer service was exceptional, and they did a great job with my vehicle! On May 16, 2016, Monday, I called the dealership and spoke with Jesse Tavares. He answered my questions and invited me to stop over, and I did, about 90 minutes later. I was there all day till about 8pm. He took his time to answer all of my questions. I felt a great connection with my salesperson. By evening, I put down a deposit of $500 and returned on Wednesday, May 18, to finalize the purchase. It took us about three hours total. I decided on a 2012 Prius. They did such a great job with my vehicle that my friends and family thought it was a brand new car! Their detailing crew were exceptional! My car is now registered, plates on, title is on its way from Augusta. Berlin Toyota applied for the title for me. I am a very happy customer, and I HIGHLY recommend my salesperson, Jesse Tavares!!!! He is someone who will take time with you and personalize your visit so that you dont feel just like another customer. Even after the purchase, Jesse is happily available. After spending days online shopping for a RAV4 that would meet my needs/wants/budget, I had found two in the Westbrook and Saco areas that I was willing to drive down from 200 miles "north" to look at and take for test drives. Then my niece from Saco discovered one from Berlin City Toyota, a 2013 RAV4 Limited, that she thought I would be interested in. It surpassed my expectations and was listed at $2500 less than its "twin" in Westbrook with an added bonus of a navigation option. The mileage was higher than the one in Westbrook but was the same mileage and price as the XLE model in Saco. I expressed an interest online and was quickly notified by Jenn Rose who confirmed the price and availability. She knew I would be coming to the area on that Saturday, would be meeting my niece and her husband at the dealership and that I would have an older dog with me. She made me feel that everyone would be welcome when I arrived, and she was right! We had confirmed the price, fees, tax over the phone the night before, so there were NO surprises. Jenn took the buying anxiety completely out of the equation! After a longer-than-expected buying process, I was driving off their lot in a car I feel confident will last for many, many years. I want to add that the buying process was due to inadequate paperwork from my local credit union. I am sure many other weekend shoppers encounter the same issue. Credit Unions and banks need to find a way to ensure that dealerships will have their money on the day of sale and keep their customers from making several trips back and forth to complete the process. Thank you, Charlie, for finding a way to make this purchase possible on that Saturday! My niece drove my 2008 Toyota Camry back to their house; her husband drove their Toyota Camry back to their house; and I drove over a few minutes later in my new RAV4!

My16-year old car had served me well, but it was time for another car, my mechanic said. The search began. Having arrived early at Berlin City Toyota, I walked around the lot, drawn immediately to a cheery new-leaf green Prius. Metallic lime, maybe chartreuse, its easy to find in a parking lot, and highly visible on the road. Chris Green was helpful throughout my selection of the Prius. Jared Grant patiently led me through leasing the car, a new experience for me. Any wear and tear or appearance changes you are going to pay for, one way or another, in addition to the basic lease charge. Dont be surprised. Did I get a good deal? Who knows? Im not a negotiator. I enjoyed my time with Chris and Jared, a real gift. And I like the Priuss fuel efficiency, though I may never plumb this cars tech-y depths!

I conducted my research through the Berlin City Toyota Portland ME website. I was contacted by Chris Green, Sales Guide and met up with him at Berlin City. Chris was accommodating with my option requests and I ended up with a new 2016 RAV4. I am very happy with my RAV4. I want to mention that Charlie Burns was also helpful in ensuring the financial business was processed as quickly as possible. My overall rating is four stars due to the length of time it took for me to drive off the lot with my new RAV4. Outside of a one hour lunch break, I was there close to six hours at Berlin City Toyota. Too long for an old man. Need to improve.
