We brought our 2006 9.3 Convertible in for an ignition switch replacement. Wed had our local service station doing our serving for the past few years, but felt this was a job for the dealer. We couldnt be happier with the work performed. First, they found other problems that we had noticed symptoms of, found a broken front spring, and some other front end problems. Some of these were still under warranty. Anyway, after waiting a couple of days for parts and repairs, the car drives like it was new. The cost was very reasonable and since we only drive it 4-5000 miles a year, were looking forward to many years of enjoying top-down driving in our Saab!

We have drove 3 cars to test drive and examined 3 others. Once we picked out the one we liked, they were very fair in pricing our trade, and presenting an offer on the car we wanted to buy. They delivered it to my mechanic for inspection and picked it back up. It could not have been a better experience. The selection of late model high end vehicles is the best in the area. We have used Gary Blake Motorcars dealer service. since I purchased used Saab. in 2011. I have been very content with the level of service and support. Today-excellent example- alarm for speed on display unit was constantly ringing. I was unable to turn off even after reading manual. I drove to Gary Blake Saab-Dan the service manager immediately asked if he could help-even remembered my name - knew immediately what the problem was and went out with me in the rain to shut off the alarm and in the process corrected some of the data on the display unit. There was no charge. I thank Dan and the service department. They have been thorough and supportive!

Since moving to the Exeter area 10 years ago Ive bought 3 cars from this family owned dealership. Each experience has been honest and forthright with no pressure at all. I have another vehicle I brought for service that was running rough. They could have told me anything and charged me big bucks but were honest to show me that it was a very minor problem that was easily fixed. I have no issue to always firstly see what they have when I need to buy a car for my family or my own use. I recommend them without hesitation.
"Be Cautious Of Gary Blake"
Be wary of Gary Blake Motorcars. I bought a used Saab that was inspected by the dealer and was passed. After the purchase, two separate mechanics told me the car had underbody rust and should never have passed inspection. I called Blake Saab and they told me they would fix any problem by riveting metal over the areas and coating it with undercoating. Of course, the proper way to do such a repair is to grind off the rust and weld new metal ito the area. I had that done at my expense, and not by Gary Blake. I then learned that the transmission oil was very dirty, which was causing the shifter to not always go into reverse. This is also something (dirty gear oil) the dealer should have noticed before selling the car. So, whether they are incompetent or dishonest, in either case one should be very cautious if buying from them.
