"One Thing After Another.... Awful!"
Initially made contact via phone to inquire about a Honda Pilot. When I questioned why a friend just bought a Pilot 2 years newer then the model I was looking at and with less miles for LESS money, I was given some crap answer... I should have been smart enough to hang up and shop at another dealership. They were so eager to sell the car to me, they offered to deliver it to my door, which sounded amazing! a delivery would save me over 3 hours of driving/childcare etc. So the salesperson delivered (at night, which was a poor choice) ALL the paper work from the finance dept had my last name misspelled. I enjoyed the Pilot and decided to make the purchase. Upon closer inspection to the paperwork, I noticed two $800+ charges. One for Gap insurance the finances dept told me was "included" and the other for the service package I purchased but the amount was more then we discussed over the phone. Then, an interior light wasnt working properly AND they delivered me a car with NO inspection sticker and gave me the run around about getting one at a local Honda Dealership. The ENTIRE point of delivery was to avoid driving to Manchester from my town, which is 3+ hours of driving with THREE little kids! Finally after a strongly worded e-mail a manager called me. He offered to have someone come to my home, pick up my Pilot and have the inspection sticker placed and light serviced. Perfect! what service. The salesperson brought me a CR-V for the day, leaving me with the WRONG remote, luckily I called her before she got to far away and she returned and gave me the correct remote to start the loaner car. Not impressed. The next day my Pilot is returned, but the return driver has ZERO info regarding the light, he was just told to deliver the car... sigh! So another phone called and phone tag to find no issues were found with the light. its magically working now. The kicker! The part that made me write this warning of a review. When I spoke to the finance dept and deiced to purchase the maintenance package, Oil change/tire rotation/spare key/inspection for three years... I asked very clearly and more then once WHERE those services could be rendered as I didnt have time to drive 3+ hours for an oil change etc. she assured me of the local places near me, I even wrote them down. She told me I would get a coupon book with locations listed and all I had to do was present the coupon when service was needed, how easy, right? WRONG! I finally got my coupon book in the mail today, guess where the services must be provided? Yup, Manchester NH. The EXACT opposite of what I very clearly and directly asked BEFORE spending $800 on a plan that is literally a pain in my butt and a HUGE inconvenience to me, my family and more importantly my children. Not to mention the gap insurance that was supposed to be included in the deal, I could have got for FAR less through my own insurance company. I am baffled at the lack of communication, customer service and clarity of information provided during this process. Not to mention my entire loan was sent to the bank with incorrect spelling, thankfully the bank CSR was intelligent, helpful and extremely helpful getting my documents corrected. Had to wait to register my car due to incorrect spelling on the title paperwork. I cannot recommend this dealership to anyone, its been one headache after the next! Looking back, I got a bum deal. They were NOT at all willing to work with me to meet my budget, or truthfully answer my questions. Thankfully the Pilot meets my needs and fits my family well. Its poor on gas, but I knew that was the trade off going from a Subaru to a Pilot to accommodate the children/dogs/gear. Hopefully i do not face any mechanical issues with it and can trade it in for a newer model in a few years, I know exactly where I dont be going for a trade-in. If you are shopping, keep going.. Auto Fair Honda is not the place to spend your money!

It took two trips to the dealership to replace the receiver on one seatbelt. They were told what the problem was before the first visit, yet they had to order the part. On the second visit, they had no information as to which seatbelt had to be repaired.

I Bought 2 New Honda CRVS in 2014 from Honda Autofair in Manchester N.H. and i LOVE them, Its been two and half years and i can still HONESTLY tell you, This is by far the BEST DEALERSHIP to buy your Next Vehicle. I had a problem, i heard a noise on first start up when the engine was cold. and it was not every day. so this noise was very hard to Duplicate. The Dealer gave me a Brand New CRV to use while Service Managers Rich ST Jean and John ST Hilaire and Service Tech Tommy Orleans Diagnosed my CRV every day. Well they NEVER Gave up NEVER. They found a faulty timing chain tensioner and went One Step Further and also put in the New Updated VCT Actuator and did a FREE Oil and Filter change. The Service Dept. is EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE They did a Awesome job Resolving the problem, There the BEST. when i picked up my CRV i could not believe how clean it was. they had there Bodyshop PREP Dept. Wax and Buff my CRV at No Charge and they did a Amazing job, my CRV looked as good as the day i bought it. "Fantastic Customer Service Despite Hiccup"
I really have to hand it to Jason and Rich for going above and beyond in helping me with my car. Six months after purchasing a used Civic from Autofair, I discovered it had a manufacturing defect. True to their word, Autofair stood behind the car theyd sold me and went to bat for me when the cars warranty extension wasnt honored by my now-local dealership. Eventually, I got the car fixed, good as new, with Honda covering the repairs. I wish the car hadnt had the problem to begin with, and I wish it was a simpler fix, but the attention I was given by Jason throughout the process was top notch and I will be forever grateful.
"Ticking Time Bomb"
I was very disappointed to learn six months after purchasing my car (when taking it in to my mechanic for regular maintenance) that it faced enormous repairs to its cooling system and heater core due to 1+ year of neglect and poor maintenance. The cooling system was filled with brown sludge which the mechanic showed me. I was told repeatedly when buying my car from Lucas Dobrow at Autofair that, although I was buying my car "as is," Autofair "stands behind each car." I asked Lucas what that meant concretely, and was told that the Autofair crew checks out each aspect of the car to ensure its condition before selling. Clearly, this did not happen, and upon calling to discuss the issue, I was told that the word of two separate mechanics didnt matter, and Autofair could do nothing for me. As a large business they dont seem to care too much about individuals, and next time Ill be sure to find a smaller community dealer.
"Unprofessional, Has No Regard For Your Time."
This has to be one of the most unprofessional places we have ever attempted to buy a car from. Saturday we inquired about a vehicle in stock. Due to the bad weather we could not make it there to see it(we live in Dover). We scheduled an appointment on Tuesday. I received calls confirming on Monday, one a few hours before our appointment Tuesday. We drive to the dealership only to be shuffled to the manager while we "waited" for our sales person. Only to be told that they had sold it. The sales manager during the wait, is telling us crap like "cars like these move fast "we sell all these cars,yada , yada, yada". You dont have to common decency to contact us and tell us you sold it? Then you think we are going to buy a different car from you? If you want to buy cars from people that have no regard for your time. Obviously dont care if your going to be customer or not. Good Luck, I dont do business with people like this.

This was the worst car buying experience ever! After 20+ years buying from and recommending Auto Fair, I will never go back. After being ridiculed at Auto Fair Ford, thanks Manager Alex -- you are a very classy guy, I did purchase a new 2016 Pilot at Auto Fair Honda and now I am not even sure I am getting the navigation that I have paid for and was part of the deal. Received a phone call this weekend offering to exchange my new 3 week old Pilot for a NEW exact one with navigation for $30 more a month for the term of my loan. Ha ha, now thats funny, is this their way of getting my navigation? I hope all this works out, but I will never buy here again and I will not be sending any friends or family their way either.

Last year I needed tires for my car and he was so upfront and honest that I purchased the tires from him/Autofair. We were looking for a new SUV for me as mine was getting old. We talked to Sammy Khatib that night and the next day we were there looking at cars. We were greeted by Chris Berryhill the Sales Manager. He was very kind and even joked around with us. Sammy showed us a couple of cars. I told him what I was looking for and what price range I wanted to be in. He worked with us and made us feel very comfortable. I decide on the Chevy Equinox. While we were waiting for the paperwork,I started getting nervous and got a headache. Sammy offered me some coffee which surprisingly for a car dealership was very good and helped ease my nerves and headache. Chris came over and shook our hands and said Congratulations, but I have a favor to ask. Can you go over and ring the bell? I did and everyone was clapping and I was embarrassed as everyone was looking at me. It wasnt long after that and we were driving home in my new car. I cant wait to go back for my oil change and see them. They are very nice and understanding with the process. I will recommend them to anyone looking for a new car.

We just bought a 2015 Honda CR-V through AutoFair Honda last week. Our salesperson was Jeffrey Shatney. I have purchased cars before, and have had plenty of experience with salespeople, both personally and professionally, and I have to say that Jeff was one of the best I have ever dealt with. Jeff goes the extra mile to make sure you are not only happy but also comfortable with your purchase. He has a great demeanor that is not at all pushy and addresses all the questions that you have on the vehicle. He has rock solid technical knowledge and was able to explain things in such a way that I/we understood everything. Would I buy from Jeff again, ABSOLUTELY!! Would I recommend a family member or a close friend to see Jeff, WITH OUT A DOUBT. When we were turned over to finance for all the necessary paperwork, we found Dave Flowers to be super efficient, friendly, fun, and knowledgeable and we enjoyed working with him. Finally, I needed a couple of things done to my car after purchase which led me to their service department…. I have to say, I had read some less than flattering reviews on the service department and was expecting far different from what I got. My experience was that the service department was on the ball, friendly, and the paperwork was done in a reasonable amount of time and I was on my way. John Alger helped me and I found him to be knowledgeable, friendly, and pleasant to work with. AutoFair has delivered in every way for us in our purchase.

We just purchased a Honda CRV EX on Saturday, Aug 15th and it was without a doubt the best experience that weve had at any dealership. Our Sales Consultant Chris Berryhill WAS OUTSTANDING. The patience that he showed my family and I as worked through our options (Pilot vs CRV, Lease vs Buy, new vs used) was greatly appreciated. We spent 4 hrs at Autofair but it felt like we were only there for an hour because he made us feel so comfortable and at ease. Chris low pressure, show you all of your options, was incredibly helpful in helping us arrive at our final purchase decision. He was extremely thorough in showing us all of the available options available on the vehicles we test drove. I was floored when I was told, after purchasing the CRV, that the vehicle would be available for to drive home in about an hour after wrapping up the deal. Ive bought 8 vehicles from dealerships (4 Hondas) and have never driven the vehicle home the same day of purchase let alone 1 hr later. Chris made us feel so much at ease that I truly felt as though I was buying a car from a friend Id known for years. I highly recommend seeking Chris out if you would like a similar experience. Business Manager Dan Whitehouse was also a great pleasure to deal with as we worked through all the paperwork. I want to thank Chris and Dan for blowing away my expectations !

Normally when i think of a car salesman negative adjectives come to mind. This past weekend I had the pleasure to work with one who broke that mold. I had the pleasure of meeting Sales & Leasing Consultant Cliff Lawrence. He was no nonsense and an absolute pleasure to meet and spend time with to discuss my options. The entire process was enjoyable. He was down to earth, respectful and treated me and my fiance as an equal. I would highly recommend anyone that is thinking about getting a new car to work with Cliff. You will see what I am talking about. I even was impressed that he did not wear a starched shirt and tie. He just wore your basic polo, no tie. He was professional without all the typical attire. If you are in the market for a car please go ask for Cliff. You will be pleasantly surprised just like I was.

I experienced a cosmetic problem non warranty and they were able to Help me take care of fixing the problem at no cost to me. We had gone in to only get prices on a Pilot. The sales staff was very kind, listened to what we were looking for and were upfront with us. When we stated we had received a better deal from another dealer, they told us if the price was true - go to that other dealer. They took the time to go over the numbers so we could see what they knew and why they thought the other dealer wasnt being upfront with us. The individuals we interacted with (for the sale of the car or not) were very professional, and nice to deal with. I know every person is going to react to a sales person differently - but we highly recommend checking this dealer out.

Nicole Gagne was our sales person on7/8/2013 when we purchased a 2013 Pilot .The saleperson and I got together an figured out what I was looking for and we started the process as we were looking out for my intrest as well as that of Auto Fair. There were some points that required input from managment and Nicole addressed those point to R Burton Broadstone and we were able to solve those differences.We bought the machine and took it home this day. I met with Matt Chandler and had a fast, smooth, and pleasant transaction. Even though I was purchasing a late model used vehicle at a low price, I was still treated like a valued customer. In comparison with other dealerships I had tried, I found Matt and the staff to be fair, personable, and interested in making me comfortable. ... a kids room! We recently ran into the mileage limit on a 2010 Subaru Impreza lease (which we traded in, so go buy it - its really nice!), and stopped by AutoFair Honda to look at a CR-V. Our salesperson, Adam R, was very knowledgeable and not the least bit pushy. He walked us around the dealership, showing a variety of available models and options, until we settled on a very loaded EX-L model. The purchase was for my wife, so we had stopped in with our 3- and 4-year old boys, and it was excellent that they had a nice play area for the kids. Anyways, we got a great car, good financing... A overall experience.

I went Auto Fair Honda due to highly recommendation from my family who has purchased many cars from Dan Whitehouse salesman he as very professional and courteous, did not feel pressured to purchase but he was persuasive in his tact to get me interested in the CRV. I have always been Toyota driver and wanted change and really liked the new look of the CRV so I had my mind made up was looking for good deal and financing and that got me great interest rate lower than my own bank offered me. So I am very happy with the CRV its getting great gas mileage 27.5 consistently..It drives great and really enjoy car. If you looking for new SUV take look at the CRV my dogs like the roomy cargo area and its comfortable ride...Ask for Dan Whitehouse you feel comfortable working with him...
"The Best Buying Experience, Ever !!"
My 2001 Honda Accord was destroyed in a wreck in late December of 2011. While I purchased this car used, I had it serviced at AutoFair Honda. I had never had a problem with their service and the results were stellar. I decided to shop for a new Honda Accord this time at AutoFair Honda. My experience from the moment I walked into the showroom was amazing! There simply was no pressure to buy. I was able to take a test drive with no condition attached and I was able to look at the Accord that I wanted while my sales person, J.R. Belanger, stood next to me and recited from memory each of the attributes about the New Honda Accord and as if that was not astonishing in the fact that he knew so much about the engine and technical features, he also compared my 2001 Accord to the current version! It was a real mind blowing experience. I have been to dealers where the salesperson knew almost nothing about the car they were selling, so this man was rather astounding! Again, even after J.R. spent about 2 hours talking with me, there was no pressure. He handed me his card and told me that if I had any questions to give him a call on his cell any time! Totally beyond belief. I did finally decide to negotiate a deal and I was introduced to AutoFair Hondas Finance Representative, Steve LaFrance. I thought... oh no here comes the ram rod down my throat, but, that never happened. Steve showed me some options, which I had not considered. Steve also allowed me to walk right out of the dealership to think about what we had discussed! Again, no pressure! Two days later, we negotiated and we came up with a number that I felt good about and I know I was able to get the dealer down a bit as well! I was then able to call JR at home and he told me that he would come into the dealership (on his day off) to ensure that everything went in my favor! We talked on the phone a bit about what I wanted as accessories on the car and how long that would take to be prepped. The next day I was there, and JR sat with me inside the car for about 90 minutes, while he showed me button by button how to operate all the controls on the dash, what the dash lights meant if they lit up while driving and how to program the seat and mirror settings for different drivers. There is no doubt that in the 48 years that I have been alive and negotiating car purchases (5 so far), I have never encountered a dealership like AutoFair Honda, where the entire sales and support team were totally no pressure! The most amazing thing was the level of professionalism they showed me in giving me access to them for a simple or complex question. The cell phone availability made it easy for me to discuss questions about the car with both JR, the salesman, and, Steve LaFrance, their Finance rep. I give this dealer a FIVE STAR ranking and my only regret is that all the other car dealers in the country do not have this same attitude about selling cars.
"Great Place For Sales And Service"
Great service from sales to service. We bought our new car a couple of months ago and had a great experience with our salesperson. When came in our first oil change , we didnt have a appointment but they still were able to get us in and out quickly. The facility was very clean, waiting room was what youd expect, clean, large TVs, comfy chairs. About 20 minutes later our service person came out letting us know what they had done, they had checked out our car for us to make sure everything was ok(even topped off our fluids). Since we bought our car from them there was no charge for our oil change. Overall were very happy with this dealership.

I recently purchased a civic from autofair. Everyone was very helpful and it was a great experience. I got to ring the bell and everyone cheered,it was a very different experience than what Im used to. I had to bring my civic in for service and was helped by Daniel wood. He went above and beyond with an issue I was having and got the problem covered under warranty. He kept me up to date with the progress all along the way and made this very painless. These guys really seem to care and I will be back in the future. I highly recommend!
