I honestly hate buying a car because of all the back and forth, but I was pleasantly surprised how easy Clayton made this transaction. If you are looking for an honest guy who knows his cars, ask for Clayton. His last name is Bogus...I know, hilarious for a car salesman, but hes great. I told him what I wanted and he found it for me. He also didnt call me 50,000 times like others have done in the past. Mark, the finance guy, was great also. Both were very personable and made buying a car a lot easier. Im hoping the service department is just as good.

Was told it was available and was given a price and that it would be gassed up and ready for me when I got there. When I walked on to the lot, I knew nothing about Jeeps. My husband has been wanting one for years and it was going to be a big change for me. Clayton took his time patiently explaining every package Jeep Wrangler had to offer and letting me test drive a couple different ones. When I finally decided which Jeep was right for us, Keith worked with me in a no pressure way to make a deal I was happy with. Mark did the paperwork quickly and Keith helped me take the top off and explained all of the tricks to do it smoothly. They are such a well organized team. We love our new Jeep! We had been looking for a lightly used Jeep for a couple of months when we stopped by Contemporary on the way to an unrelated appointment. A small dealer easy-going feel right away. Everyone was welcoming without being pushy, and listened to what we wanted. We got somewhat lucky to find some leftover new stock in the price range we were shopping for used, and Keith and the rest of the staff were willing to deal in a way that left everyone satisfied. Cant say yet about quality of service and follow-up, but if it matches the buying experience it will be great. Give these guys a look.

Our Sales Representative, Clayton Bogus, was on his game: We came in for a specific used vehicle and he answered every question we had about its mechanical history and condition. There was a distinct lack of arm-wrestling and the typical back-and-forth between Clayton and the Management...Clayton was upfront and honest. I sincerely appreciate a Sales Representative who says "Duncan, I cannot do that. But this is what I can and will do..." That is the essence of negotiation. I had a previous excellent experience with Contemporary when I owned a Town and Country. My sons are now in college and we wanted something a little different than a minivan or the run of the mill SUV. We went back to Contemporary expecting to start a perhaps tedious car search while we decided what we wanted versus what we could afford. I had been interested in getting a Jeep but was expecting the bumpy ride I experienced in the 80s. John Callahan greeted us as we got out of our car, made us feel VERY welcome and comfortable, and got right down to helping us decide what we wanted. He took us for a test drive in a Jeep Wrangler- LOVED it right away. Great driving experience, comfortable ride, great options. I was interested in a standard transmission but hadnt driven one in about 20 years. John was great while we tried it out- and it really was like the proverbial riding of the bicycle. We then did another test drive of a different vehicle to compare. We really appreciated Johns patience and help. Ultimately we went with the Jeep Wrangler and went home with it that day. Everyone was great from the test drive, the answers to our questions, to the deal process and the purchase. We are very happy with the experience and our purchase.

"Rude Sales Manager"
I would never recommend this dealership to anyone. The salesman was great to deal with, however the used car sales manager was the rudest, most arrogant person that I have ever met. I purchase new vehicles every two years and I have been two several dealerships in and out of state, and I have NEVER come across anyone that treats their customers like he treated me. I have owned my business for 42 years, and customer service has always been a top priority of mine. I would never employ anyone that had an attitude towards customers like he does. Word of mouth spreads extremely fast, and I have many friends that I will make well aware of my experience with this dealership. For the record, I went to another dealership and had outstanding service! I purchased "TWO" vehicles from them. Now I am in the market for an orange and black Hellcat.

"2016 Dodge Durango"
After researching and visiting other Dodge dealerships in the area, we decided that a Dodge Durango was the best vehicle for us. We were welcomed at Contemporary by sales associate, Joe Pelletier. We explained to him that we were just beginning our search for a Durango. Despite knowing that we were still in the "looking" phase, Joe took the time to show us a Durango, accompany us on a test drive and explain all the features and options available. We very much appreciated all his input without any of the high pressure sales tactics so evident in many dealerships. Many weeks later when we finally made our decision to purchase a Durango, we returned to Contemporary after having a very unsatisfactory visit to another local dealer. We asked, once again, for Joe Pelletier. He spent time with us again and he said we would be happy with our choice and he was 100% right. Just purchased a new Jeep Cherokee from Clayton. Drove an hour to take a look at the vehicle I was interested in and they made sure the car was out front with A/C on, ready for a test drive at the time of my appointment. Clayton was knowledgeable, friendly, and easy going. I never felt any pressure to purchase. As I saw the vehicle on a Sunday, the finance team was not there to finalize paperwork. Rather than wait another week for me to make the hour drive again, Clayton met me closer to my job to finalize the paperwork. He also took the time to explain to me how to register the vehicle in MA. Overall, very easy and pleasant experience.

"I Keep Coming Back"

The only reason I keep coming back and this is my 6th vehicle is the staff. Yeah, they have some clinkers like most offices do but they have some keepers and I hope they are smart enough to realize it. The product is good as well as I said, this is number 6. I have purchased 3 of them from Mark Cheever. I was suppose to meet with someone else the first time I met Mark and the guy I had been working with, didnt come in that day.(Like I said, some clinkers) so Mark ended up going on a test drive with me. Now I wouldnt think of buying from anyone but him. My sister even only wants to deal with him as well. I would have gotten a 7th car but Chrysler is not doing convertibles right now! You also had an ace in service, Don who is now at Foss Motors - yes, I visited. Thats how great Don was. There have been many who have tried to replace him but not making it. Theres hope in Garry though. I would say this is the one area Contemporary needs to work on. I read a comment on loaners. I know this is a risk for insurance and other areas but it is something you should brainstorm on. That shuttle is not available enough. With longer service hours, comes extended perks as well. Most of the time, a great solution has been found in my situations. such as the manager bringing my car home to me. This is a great service but I do live less than a mile from the dealer. But please do think about that. I know you have done some renovations to the sales area but those desk and uncomfortable chairs need to go. Who ever is in charge of the facilities, take a ride to Foss Motors. They are first class. Contemporary needs some interior decorating. Needless to say, I like dealing with all at Contemporary Chrysler and I hope to be able to into the next vehicle - which hopefully, will be for a new convertible!!!!!

Contemporary Dodge Jeep Ram Jay Coffey is a salesperson who got to know us and our need for a type of car and pointed us in the correct direction. Never pushed us to buy more than we could afford or point us to a car we could not use because it was the Deal of the Week Very calm, let us have time to make a decision on the car and was very knowledgeable of all the paperwork. We also had a time limit and he kept to it. Cory Luba was the person who looked at our trade in. He was very fair on the price he gave us for the trade. Did no.t undercut the price. Very fair evaluation. Explained why he came up with the price without saying we had a bad car to trade. VERY PROFESSIONAL. Mike Leblanc was a finance wiz. He found us the best rate on the market he could. Showed us options for other things but did not push them. We declined most but did get an extended warranty. very little impact on my price. Come to find out he knew where we lived and knew one of our children. He also kept to a time line because we had a 4 year old with us. Excellent experience.

Easily the best experience I have had with any dealership. I look forward to coming back, rather than dreading it. Im a young guy and this isnt my first car. Ive been to other dealerships and been shrugged off and told I was too young to buy one. The sales staff are great at contemporary. My sales guy, Jay, was super helpful and informative. He gave me updates VIA text which was perfect. The sales managers are top notch guys too, they really add a nice touch to the experience. Also, the GM of the dealership is great! He really cares about helping the customer because he knows it will earn him more business. Well, hes right! Ill be going back for another car soon. I was sent here by a friend of his and when they stated he would work me I was skeptical due to previous dealership experiences. They werent lying. I got more than I figured for my trade in and I paid a really good price for my new car. The Financial manager was fantastic. Mike really works with you and helps to put things through. He helped to get just my name on the title. They also allowed me some leighway while I transferred my residency to NH from PA. Five stars overall.

I called this dealer about a used vehicle and Bethany assured me TWICE that it was available. After a 1.5 hour drive I arrived to find this vehicle was delivered that AM. Bethany did not have the decency to apologize to my face instead sending a nice guy named ROCKY to apologize for her. Will not be shopping for my JEEP at this dealership.
"No Loaner Car"
Good group of people, but no loaner car program for when maintenance is required. I work 45 minutes from Milford, and cant afford to lose a day over this. I was directed to a rental car agency...great :( Thats not the service I was promised when I bought this very expensive truck. I would not recommend these guys to anyone living more than 45 minutes away...its just too important to get good, timely service done.

The process was easy, the sales folks were friendly and just made the whole experience great. BUT! I like their service department the most (sorry sales guys). The Service Manager is a car guy - he gets it, and makes sure you get treated professionally.

He was better than I could have done with the ability of organically growing my own car sales person; not once did I feel like I was buying a car nor did he act like a stereotypical used care sales-person. I actually felt like I had a trusted advisor with our (my wife and I) best interests in mind. Overall a very positive experience in which I am confident radiates at the highest level doown through the entire organization - from all with whom we interacted...Max, Bethany, Rocky, Mike (Finance), etc.

Every time I walk in the door its a positive experience. They always greet me with coffee and ask me how everything is going with my Jeep. I bought a used 2010 Liberty and go back for all of my vehicles inspections/services. Service rates are very reasonable and everything is done right away while I wait. I will be back for all of my vehicle purchases.

I dont usually do online/public reviews, however the wonderful service we received at Contemporary was worth sharing. We recently purchased a 2012 Jeep Wrangler and absolutely love it! Not only did we get a great deal (we searched for months, and this was the best deal we found) but we also had a great car buying experience. Our salesman Mark was very friendly and informative, and the finance department was very professional and helpful. We look forward to doing business with them again when it comes time for our son to get his first car.

I have given this dealership 5 opportunities to win my business in the last 5 years. Every time, without fail, there is a glaring failure, be it intellectual dishonesty, cheap sales guilt ploys, weird claims, or simple refusal to accept reality. I cant speak for ownership, but the sales managers would do well in the snake oil business. This organization is subpar, even for Milford, NH.
