I had been searching for a convertible for months. Been to all the dealerships in the area. Mercedes of Boston in Somerville has the nicest staff I have come across. The tone in the dealership is so pleasant and helpful, it is obvious from the moment you walk in. Alicia Macomber was awesome and took me right to where the inventory of all the convertibles the dealership had as I explained I want to see the cars. She called ahead so they were pulled out. I know what I like when I see it, so literally it took an hour and I was done with my purchase. This did not happen at other dealerships. They talked about what they had in stock. Alicia has excellent listening skills, knowledge about the specific car I was looking for, and her desire to get me what I needed. She did and the next day, I had my car all wrapped up with a bow. Chris in charge of finance is just a great guy. He has such a positive attitude that it is actually a pleasure doing business with this dealership. Although it is not the closest dealership to where I live I will bring my car to Mercedes of Boston because of how pleasant and accommodating this dealership is to do business.

I purchased a used ML from MB of Boston and experienced the most enjoyable, hassle free sales process. My sales rep, Georgina, was patient, attentive, informed and professional. I told her what I was looking for, she presented a couple of options and talked me through each. Once I decided to buy, she handled all the paperwork, accommodated my schedule, got me through Finance in 5 minutes (Chris in FI was also fantastic) and even changed the plates herself! Not once did I feel pressured, or did she try to push me in another direction. Thanks to Georgina - this was easily the most enjoyable car buying experience I have had. We purchased a 2015 Toyota Sequoia with 13K miles from Lovette. We found the vehicle online and it had all the features we were looking for. There wernt a lot in the area to choose from, so we drove down from NH to Somerville MA. The vehicle matched the description and it was immaculate. We had a 2006 Sequoia as a trade. They inspected it and offered a competitive trade in value for it. We had another vehicle that was a possibility so we left the dealership without purchasing, and there was no real pressure to buy right then. Since we live in NH, and the NH DMV and MA DMV dont play nice with each other, we would have had to purchase the vehicle, drive back to NH to register it with the bill of sale, then drive back to Somerville to get the vehicle. Lovette said that if we purchased the vehicle, he would drive it to NH for us, and we could finish the paperwork in NH, and he would drive away with our trade in. We decided that we wanted the vehicle and we were able to call and put a down payment on it over the phone with a credit card. I drove to Somerville to complete the transaction, and a few days later Lovette showed up and we completed the deal. One minor hiccup was that the vehicle had aftermarket tint on the Driver and Passenger windows. Thats illegal in NH, so it didnt pass inspection. Luckily I have a heat gun, and the tint peeled right off without a problem. I suspect that the dealer would have worked with us to resolve this if I wasnt able to do it myself. Also, there was some pressure to do the financing through them. I just showed up with a check from my credit union so I could get the right terms for my car loan, I wouldnt have been able to do that with the dealer. They were unable to sell me the additional stuff since I had a check that was already made out to the purchase price.

I have just picked up my 4th Benz from Mercedes of Boston. Within the last month, Alex Fine has delivered both a 2016 GLE 450 Couple and my latest, a 2016 S550. Once again, a truly fantastic customer centric experience. From sales to the business office to the orientation of my new S Class, I really do not view much room for improvement. I have been in sales and sales management for well over 30 years. Throughout all that time, I have expressed one consistent message to all of the people who have participated in what I like to call, "delighting the client". Now we all know that this statement may not always ring true in terms of objective accuracy but the general point is clear ... Always try to do two things well and most importantly ... consistently. #1 ... Set proper expectations and strive to exceed them in all situations engaging the high road even when it is difficult and # 2 .... Always achieve # 1. My past experience at MB Boston has been nothing short superb. "Great Car Buying Experience From Out-of-state!"
Im the type of guy that does a ton of research online before I start my car shopping. After an extensive amount of research, I finally determined the type of car I wanted which was a brand new GLE450 Coupe. I quickly learned that finding that model, with all of the options I wanted, would be difficult to find here in South Florida. I extended my search outside of my local area to include the entire State of Florida. Still no luck. I went on AutoTrader and quickly found the car I wanted. It happened to be located at Herb Chamber Mercedes in Somerville. That was a Sunday night. I hit the "get the e-price button" that Sunday night and received a follow up the following Morning morning. I could tell that it was not a standard automated email but a personalized & professional email. With very little effort on my part, I was given the e-price. I was elated to see it. It was fair and FAR better than any price ever quoted to me locally. It just so happened that my fiancee was traveling to that area for work the following weekend. I set it up so he could view the car on my behalf. Upon his arrival, the car was not only waiting for him to view and drive, but he was greeted by Lovette Monteiro. Lovette went with him on the test drive and showed him the bells & whistles. My fiancee was impressed with not only the car but also with Lovettes demeanor and professionalism. I was impressed at how easy the process had been thus far. Once my fiancee gave me the "thumbs up" on the car, I called up Lovette and quickly hammered out the remaining details for the purchase (i.e. lease terms, etc). It was quick, easy, and rather painless. All of the required documents, to get the ball rolling, were emailed to me and quickly processed. I was then contacted by AJ in the finance department to finalize the lease terms. He offered me some additional "add-ons" (i.e. maintenance package, wear & tear package, etc) and thoroughly explained to me how to save a bit of money on those items (which I already knew I was buying). The remaining documents were FedExd to me. I had some additional questions after receiving those documents which were quickly answered by AJ. I decided to arrange my own transport carrier to pick up the car in Massachusetts & brought to me in Florida. Lovette took the lead on that and had everything ready to go for the carrier. He even covered the seats in plastic for me and video/photographed the car for me so I had an undisputable record of the condition in case I encountered any issues with my transport carrier. Every single person (Jessica, Internet Sales Asst Mgr; Dana, Internet Sales Mgr; Lovette Monteiro, Salesperson; Robert S., Clerk) answered my questions via email and phone in a timely professional manner. As someone who is also in sales, I truly appreciated that. Ive NEVER bought a car essentially sight unseen. This dealership & team made this an incredible experience. I HIGHLY recommend this dealership. BIG thank you to everyone involved that made this one of the best experience Ive EVER had in all of my years of buying luxury vehicles. A special thank you to Lovette for all of the virtual "hand holding" that I required. Im not an "easy to please" person but you certainly made this experience totally awesome!

I went to Mercedes of Boston with a good idea of what I was looking for, but not really expecting to buy a car, mainly because Ive never been very happy dealing with auto dealerships. This was different. Georgina greeted me immediately when I walked through the door, listened to my desiderata, and printed out the specs on three vehicles that fit my needs. She went through each carefully, pointing out the differences and similarities. Next, we went to see the three cars. I was text driving the most likely candidate within minutes. Georgina was extremely knowledgeable about every detail of how the car operates. She encouraged me to take it out on the highway to really get a feel for whether or not it would work for me. I had been to other dealers and had nothing like this experience. Georgina knows how to help people find the luxury vehicle they are looking for. She is a smart, efficient, thorough, attentive and nice. Very nice. I would recommend this dealership (everyone else was nice and efficient as well) especially Georgina.

My family and I had a wonderful experience working with Georgina to trade in our ML350 and lease a new GL450. From my first meeting with her she was warm, welcoming, and very easy to talk to, all the while exuding the utmost in professionalism. During subsequent meetings, when I came with my husband and two young kids she made us all feel welcome, working with my husband and I to help us build the exact car we wanted with all the features we were looking for. Georgina always made our kids happy with everything from changing one of the TVs at the dealership to cartoons, to the various toy Mercedes she keeps at her desk that they would look forward to playing with each visit. She also made all the paperwork around the financing and other elements, a breeze. Lastly, she went above and beyond, delivering our new car to our home and taking the time to show (a very pregnant) me how to work all the features of the car. I scheduled an appointed and on arrival was introduced to Lovette Monteiro. He could not have been more helpful. I had decided to change from an E class to an SUV but unsure which one. Lovette was very patient in explaining the differences between the models and suggest I test drive all of them. Lovette made us feel at right at ease, there was no pressure to purchase. Rather than steer us toward a particular model, he asked losts of question about what I wanted and my driving habits. Once my decision was made, he outlined the process and phone me 2-3 times the following week to update me. When we picked up the car he spent a considerable amount of time going through the various features (of course I forgot most of what he said!). He even phoned me a few times the following week to see if I had any question. It was truly I great experience. I love the car and with Lovettes help, I made the right decision.

Georgina definitely breaks the mold when it comes to car sales. While maintaining her professionalism, she is warm and friendly and most importantly, listens to your needs. From the minute you sit down with her to the moment you say goodbye, you are positively overwhelmed with attentiveness and true customer service. She also went far and beyond to try and work the best case scenario for me and followed up throughout the process until it was time to make a decision. Lovette is definitely the salesman that you will want to work with. My friend and I went to look for my first car at Mercedes-Benz of Boston. When we walked in, Lovette greeted us and asked if any of us want any drinks or ice creams(very unusual). Later, we told Lovette that we were planning to buy a new C300. He told us not to make the decisions so fast yet, because there is another way to save us money. He patiently explained us about the certified pre-owned car and walked us through to some of the cars that we might like. Then he pulled out all the datas and helped us to select the right car for our needs. I had decided to buy the car that day. Lovette was very nice, he drove us to the bank to get our check certified. As we came back, he helped us to finish all the paperworks and even told us how to get the cheapest insurance! Lovette had made all the process very easy and convenient. He is not that kind of sale who will pressure you to buy the car. Lovette was very thoughtful! He told us he had chosen a plate without the number 4 for us, since people believe 4 is an unlucky number. I definitely recommend you to look for Lovette! This past spring I was suddenly in the market for a new car to replace my ML 320 CDI. I was referred to Chip. When I described what I wanted he searched the available inventory of 2015 ML. He also told me that the M series was being upgraded and renamed and that the new version a GLE would be available in the summer. He could of easily had sold me a 2015 but provided me with this information as an option if I could wait, which I could. He then helped me order a GLE guiding me through all the options so that I would get a car that was tailored to my needs and style. My new car came in last week and I love it.

Jasper Abreu - we appreciate his kindness, professionalism, attitude and demeanor - he put us at ease. Jasper treated us with respect, was extremely accommodating, knowledgeable and patient. He was the reason we made our decision to lease the Mercedes GLA for our daughter instead of the Audi Q3. After the winter we experienced, the leased vehicle our daughter was driving was not suitable for the New England winters and commuting to college. As mother and daughter, we embarked on a test driving spree to see which vehicle would suit her - size, comfort and most importantly, safety. Entering dealerships was intimidating for the both of us. We told all the sales associates we where beginning our search test driving 4-wheel and all wheel drive vehicles and would not be making any decisions today. Our daughter test drove the Audi A3 and Q3, Jeep Renegade and Cherokee , Volvo S60, Nissan Murano, Kia Sorento and Sportage, Mazda CX5 and finally Mercedes GLA. As Audi was the first vehicle she test drove we went back a second time to test drive the Audi Q3 which she liked very much. (We own an Audi Q7 Diesel). But the sales associate we had on our 2nd visit to Audi did not make us feel wanted, nor special. We felt like we were a bother to him. The clear choice was the GLA - we thank Jasper for making it an easy decision for us. Our daughter couldnt be happier with her decision. Thank you!

Prior to purchase, my sales specialist(Keith) informed me the car had been thoroughly inspected and was a certified pre owned, with only 1 defect that would be fixed prior to the sell. This was the center console failing to stay closed. I agreed to purchase the car, and on the day of pickup, Keith informed me the center console did not arrive but would be in within a few days, and would be replaced. So he encouraged to proceed with purchase and they would replace the console very soon. That was 15 weeks ago. After signing papers, Keith informed me of another issue that they “just discoveredâ€. The car software would reboot itself every minute or so. Again, he said this would be fixed within a few days, and pushed to sell the car that day. For several weeks, while waiting for a software package to come in from Germany, everything in the car would reset every minute or so – radio, clock, seat settings, music presets, everything! I also found when I got home that only 1 of the 2 keys provided for the car worked. The one that actually worked, gave a low battery indication. So both keys needed new batteries. I guess they don’t check this in their CPO inspections. I was never provided copies of finance paperwork on the day of purchase. I asked Keith to please mail to my PO box. After several weeks without receiving, I inquired and found out the paperwork was sent to a different address. 2 months after purchase, I finally received copies of my finance paperwork. I left my EZ pass in my trade in vehicle. When I asked for it to be mailed to me, the dealership sent me someone elses EZ pass. After some confusion and email traffic, they located mine and sent. Week by week, I inquired about my center console. Every week, different managers told me different stories and provided different excuses on why my center console was taking so long to come in. All the while, I am driving my car holding the console closed with my elbow. Keith told me via email on 4/22 that the center console was to come in on the 23rd, but was delayed a few days. Chris Franzoso – (Used Car Manager) told me vial email on 4/23 that the part was on backorder, but was expected to arrive on May 4th. Robert Picardi – (parts manager) told me via email on 06/15 that the center console was being recreated at the manufacturer site and there is no ETA. I’ve sent so many inquiries asking why I was provided misleading information, but nobody responded. I copied Jeff Davis, Brandi Lawler, George Kotsiras, Keith, Bob Picardi, Chris Franzoso. At this point, I just want to inform other potential car buyers to beware. This dealership has been so unprofessional, on so many levels. I would never purchase from here again, and have advised my friends, family, and colleagues to stay away. Final update – yesterday(August 6th, 2015) my center console was finally repaired. 15 weeks after purchase, and they didn’t even replace the entire center console as they had been saying for months. They replaced the lid, and only the lid. 15 weeks of being told the delay was due to center console needing to be recreated in Germany, and all they replaced was the lid. I wasn’t surprised. Just glad to cut ties with this dealership for good.

I am not a fan of dealing with dealer ships but you guys have overall made it a great experience for me. Working with Lovette, he was great at his job, professional, well dressed, smiling and overall just a great guy. Thank you for making this so easy and not a wasted minute. Also the gentleman that I met with when I signing all the paperwork, the financial guy, he was a sweetheart, I couldnt stop laughing around him.
