My husband and I needed a new (used) car so we checked out Acura if Boston. We were greeted with a smile and our salesperson was Cardinia Gates, who was awesome! She new exactly what we were looking for, and after looking at a few, we ended up eventually choosing the first car she had suggested. The process went smoothly on their end and we were able to pick up our car shortly after. Bernardi offers a great warranty program that is definitely worth the money. Everyone was friendly and easy to talk to. Cardinia was extremely easy to contact and very fast at responding, and made sure everything was ready for us when we went to pick up our new car. "Excellent Sales Process"
We purchased a new RDX at the end of the Quarter. The dealership was quite busy, but we had the good fortune to be introduced to Randall Mathews as our sales person. He is clearly well informed and among the most personable sales professionals we have worked with in the auto industry. His knowledge of Acura of Bostons complete inventory and of the RDX in particular was impressive. After a thorough test drive, Randall showed great patience, had useful advice, and a wonderfully non-aggressive demeanor as we sorted out colors and option packages. Once we had agreed on a price, we discovered that we did not have enough time to complete the process. Randall volunteered to come in the following morning (which we later learned was his scheduled day off) to wrap things up. When we arrived at 8:30 he had the car all ready, including the added options. He did a great job setting up and familiarizing me with all of the electronics. I think I know more about the functionality of this new RDX after his tutorial, than I knew about the Acura TL that I had just traded in after several years of very satisfied ownership. He is a great ambassador for Acura and any dealership or Customer would benefit by his professional customer service. As we were driving off the lot in our beautiful new RDX, I noticed in the rear view mirror, Randall running to catch us. I had left my FastLane transponder in the turned in vehicle... Randalls sales manager, Curtis Hamilton, was also terrific to work with.

Auburn did not want to locate one for me and one call to Acura of Boston got the ball rolling. I arrived and met a few of the guys there: a couple of other sales people: Billy and Randall who pointed me in the right direction of my salesperson: Ed Martens. What an awesome experience here. They all made it so easy for me to pick up my dream car. sales manager - (I believe his name was Mohammed) and the business manager - John also helped a ton to make this deal happen for me. I have been driving the car for about a month now and I love it. Im glad I got the 4-cylinder version. The dual clutch transmission Ed was telling me about is super smooth. also, thank you Ed for helping me set up the bluetooth on my phone too. Also, two of the technicians actually came out and asked me if I had any questions on my new car! WHO DOES THAT?! Ill tell you: Boston Acura! Danny Chew and Willie Moy are the techs that came out to make sure I understood the vehicle and offered their help if I ever needed service from them. "Wicked Awesome Automobile Purchasing Experience"
Our experience with the purchase of automobiles is generally a very stressful and unpleasant experience. We had been to several dealerships working with a short list of critical issues most important of which were ample leg room, comfortable larger seats and automatic transmission. Upon arrival at Bernardi Acura of Boston we were greeted by Ted Poulos and brought into a very bright and open showroom. As we had an appointment Ted brought us cold water while we waited. As it turned out Ted became of sales consultant. What a great experience. He guided us thru the test drive, initial negotiations and working with Travis Mccarthy, Manager a mutual agreement. As I needed a bank check and it was late in the day Alex the finance manager was able to obtain license and registration b4 5pm. Ted Poulos again gets a high 5 as he noted a high fan noise and it was brought to the attention of Travis. Immediately it went to the repair pros and the problem was a leaf has lodged into the blower. No one wanted us to leave unsatisfied. Ted Poulos sat with us until the vehicle was 100% and we honestly have never had such a pleasant experience buying an automobile. We highly recommend Bernardi Acura of Boston and Ted Poulos. We will return on our future purchase.

"Great Service From Beginning To End And Beyond"
Ive always dreaded buying a new car which is why I usually drive my cars into the ground before committing to a new one. Ive tried different dealerships in MA and walked away from every one of them without a car. I decided to give Bernardi Acura a shot especially because I really wanted an Acura RDX. As I walked into the dealership, I was greeted by Ted Poulus, who I believe is probably the nicest human being on the plannet. Very quickly he was able to shatter all of the stereotypes usually tied to car salesmen. Ted is very knowledgable of the overall sales process and an expert in all the features of any Acura. His experience and ability to understand his customer needs are only a couple of things that made my process of buying a car easy and painless. Ted made sure that I was aware of all of my options and that I made the right decision. He also followed up with me after a week of me owning the vehicle and within my first month. In addition, he made sure that I met the GM and the finance manager properly so I felt like I was a part of the dealership in a sense. I bought my new Acura ILX from Acura of Boston and at no point did I feel overwhelmed or uncomfortable during the sales process. I was offered a very fair price (below the Consumer Reports suggested retail) which was unexpected since I have heard horror stories about buying new cars. My sales person Juanmy was very helpful in answering questions and he went out of his way to take me to the bank to get a bank check, he filled the tank with gas and he even had the car registered before I left the lot. It was a very easy process and I would definitely continue to work with Acura of Boston and recommend anyone in the market for an Acura to visit this location!

They take the time to explain why my car needs to be repaired, not just what needs to be done. And their explanation is in plain language-understandable.

i called them at 5pm regarding a 2008 highlander they had listed here on cars.com, they said it was still available, i explained i was traveling an hour to come up to see it, and she said it was still available. i got up there and supposedly someone from out of state put a deposit on it but of course the next line was "is there anything else i can interest you in on the lot" very upset i feel i was lied to, this car is still up on this site, not taken down.

"Disorganized Mess"

I found a used car on cars.com at this dealership so I submitted an inquiry on a Sunday. Monday I received a call saying, "we see youre interested in this vehicle, wed like to enter you in our VIP program, when can you come to look at it?" and I set up an appointment for Tuesday evening. Tuesday afternoon I get a call from the dealership saying, "sorry, we sold that car over the weekend would you be interested in something else?" Really? The guy went on to explain that the call I got on Monday was from some marketing program the dealership has, which CLEARLY is disconnected from the actual inventory. I didnt even get an apology, he only wanted to know if I was still interested in buying something. It was misleading and unfair and I would never use a dealership that employs the bait-and-switch method. They were quick to sick their marketing folks on me for a car that they already sold. Then they thought Id be interested in a different make and model if it was the same color as the one I wanted. Please, thats just insulting.

I went in to see a car that was sold by the time i got to the dealership. The sales guy there met my price appetite and got me to buy a model year newer than the one i went in for and a price that was hard to refuse. It took me 20 mins for the test drive, 15 mins to negotiate the price and within the hour i had signed the papers and left. Ask to meet with Perry who will make sure you leave with everything you came for.

"Best Dealership In All My Experiences"
I went to this dealership many years ago and inquired about a new Acura. I learned that the new models were out of my range. They didnt have any pre-owned in stock that met my needs in my price range. They took my info, and a few days later called and advised that had just got a car in they thought I would like. I drove over, they gave me the keys, I drove it to Dedham where a mechanic I know inspected the car and told me there were no issues what so ever with the car, which was a 1995 Acura Integra with 72,000 miles. I drove the car from 1999 until 2008. It had 280,000 miles when an idiot blew a stop sign in Dorchester and broad sided me leaving the car as a total loss and no longer operational. I can tell you this, the car had no mechanical issues over the 10 years I drove it. I would have driven the car to Florida even after 10 years. And Im pretty sure it had another 100,000 miles left!!!! Over the years, the only service I needed was when I had to change batteries, and I had to change the alternator once, and the radio had a security system built in. I would have to call to get the security code, and they were always more than helpful. Plus you see from earlier in the review how helpful they were in helping me find the car that was perfect for me.
