I recently purchased a vehicle from Boston Volvo Village in Allston. My experience was very positive. I went through their inventory online and found a vehicle I liked. I then called to set up an appointment for a test drive. Upon my arrival, the car was already parked outside the show room and was ready for me to test drive. I was greeted and introduced by their sale associate Terrell Mallory who is very nice and easy going. I test drove the car two separate times on two separate days before I committed to purchase. Terrell was patient and easy to work with. I also met and had a short conversation with their managers Phil and Ian. All three gentlemen made my transaction completely easy. Lastly, the lady at the front desk was very nice and welcoming too. Buying a vehicle can be one stressful thing, but meeting and working with nice people do make a big difference.

I recently leased my first Volvo through Boston Volvo Village in Allston, MA. I highly recommend them. I had gone to two other dealers a few times each, but they did not seem interested in trying to meet the needs we had as potential new customers. A friend recommended Volvo Village to us. From the moment I walked in, my experience was different and I knew I would find what I needed there. Brianna Anderson was an excellent help online and kept up with me through emails, which was the main reason I went there. Stan Dubitsky, who is great as a representative for the company, found the car I wanted within a few hours of my meeting him. He was very informative and made it clear that he wanted to work to meet my needs. He also spent a lot of time, once I decided on the car I wanted, sitting in the car and going over its many tech features. Phil Jenkins was also another big plus in my decision to drive away in a car from Volvo Village. I highly recommend this team at Volvo Village for anyone going through the process of buying a new car.

Had a great experience with Boston Volvo Village. They helped me quite a bit over the phone/computer before I made the trip there. I really appreciated that the internet contact, Brianna, would interact, respond in a timely manner, and would actually answer questions, not just keep telling me to come into the dealership. They helped me with the trade in value of my car, via pictures I sent, which they stuck to when we arrived. We were paired with Josh, who was really friendly, easy to talk to, and took great care of us. He was friendly with our kids, and offered us endless popcorn, water, coffee, etc. Even offered to get us dinner if the deal took awhile! Kathy at the desk was amazing with my kids who are 3 and 4 years old. They had the time of their lives there, and everyone was so kind. Brianna Anderson was exceptional!!! After responding to my question through the internet, she was the only one of several to respond to the question vice just “Come on in.†She was very personable, courteous and extremely helpful about the S60 I inquired about. Because of her willingness to work with me and talk with the business office we had essentially agreed to the terms before going to the dealership (which is 1.5 hours away). When we went there the next morning we were greeted at the front desk and she had arraigned for the salesman, Dave to meet us for the test drive.

I recently purchased a used 205 Lexus IS 250 here at Boston Volvo and I can absolutely say I had a wonderful experience. I had schedule an appointment at 3pm on a Sunday and when I arrived the car was all ready for a test drive. I was greeted by Andre Vieira, the sales and leasing advisor, who helped me throughout the process. I examined the car and found it suitable for what I was searching for. The negotiation process was respectful and not pushy. I also met the one of the managers and I believe his name was Bryan if Im not mistaken. He was very friendly and considerate. It didnt take too long before we agreed on a price. Once we agreed on the priced, we went forward to the financing process. It was a bit of a long wait before I meet the Marcello in the finance services but it was understandable considering how long paperwork can take. Regardless of the wait, Marcello was excellent in assisting us. I finished the paperwork and went to pick up the car the next week. The car looked washed and polished like it was brand new. It was a tremendous experience and I highly recommend others to come to Boston Volvo Village.

Very disappointed. A car was advertised on line and when we got to the dealer after setting up an appointment, no one had a clue that we were coming in or where the car was. 1.5 hour car ride down from nh....but the pizza was good at a local shop on the corner. $100.00 lunch including gas and tolls.

"Distress Call Received With Excellent Outcome"
Doug H. received my distress call early Saturday morning when I blew out my tire as I was going to pick up colleagues to go to work. He reassured me that he would take care of me (and indicated that I should drive really slowly), as the lack of donut that no longer comes with the car as a standard feature was needed and the other substitute pump and gook did not work (safety was in the prior ownership always a standard feature). Doug calmed me down completely with his professionalism, compassion, and competence. On a super busy service day, he immediately produces a loaner car and sent me on my way AND added the service required by my car to the tire replacement. His honesty, listening skills, and credibility put me completely at ease. I explained that I could not return the car for effectively another two days. He made it a non-issue. My rear wiper needed to be replaced, he made it a nonissue. My mirror needed to be reset in the cavity of the mold, he made it a nonissue. Professional service people such as Doug have had a lot of training and experience. He is incredibly valuable to Volvo, just as sales professionals like Kerry are in fitting people with a high-quality vehicle that meets their needs. I am clear that the changes in Volvo ownership do not understand these intangible values, and do not understand the volvo clientele. I have been actively considering alternative to volvo (despite having been a loyal customer--two are purchases and two leases over 12 years) because of the new marketing tactics, which I receive with disgust and delete. I strongly encourage listening carefully to the people who know the clienteles before damaging the volvo name. I associate traditional car sales tactics with lack of quality. I am grateful for my past experiences and for the remaining staff like Doug and Kerry. It is critical that these professional be shown the proper respect, compensation and given the discretion they need to do their job effectively. Thank you in advance for your consideration. I really would prefer to stay with Volvo but am considering Tesla and Subaru because of the low-brow marketing, which makes me question whether volvo will actually maintain the high quality safety standards of their vehicles under new ownership.

I cant say enough good things about this dealership. I would recommend a trip to Boston Volvo Village to anyone looking for a new or pre-owned Volvo. I went to Boston Volvo Village after finding a car I was interested in on cars.com and talking with Myles about my interest. Myles was very helpful and assisted me in setting up a time to come in for a test drive. From the time I walked into the dealership, everyone was friendly and accommodating, not pushy or overbearing at all. Kathy in reception directed me to Andre, and he immediately brought the car I was interested in right to the front of the building. He made sure I was fully comfortable in the vehicle before we left the parking lot, even encouraging me to find my favorite radio station! Andre was personable & answered all of my questions. I was contacted about a recall service and the service team was very proactive in scheduling a time, providing a loaner car and carefully explaining the service work for the recall and a regular service. They paid close attention to thinking about what I needed done. For example, they noted a torn wiper blade and replaced it. This is why we drive past other Boston area Volvo dealerships to come to Boston Volvo Village. If they care about the little things that I can see, I can trust they are taking care of the major things with the same attention to detail. Well done.
