"Paid Money For Some Thing That Wasn Evethe Issue"
i brought my Camaro to service because there was leak in the cooling. Chevy Service told me its going to be 120$ to look at the car and find out the problem . i told them thats fine, i dropped my car on Sunday night which is the 6/11/17. i get call from them on Monday the 6/12/17 saying that they found out the problem which is some kind of plugs on block are leaking, it going to cost me $536 to get my car fixed, i told them if that fix the problem go ahead and fix it, and said car will be ready but Friday the 6/16/17 at 2:00 Pm, i didnt heard any thing from them so i called in on Friday at 1:50 Pm , they told me to older the wrong parts so i have to wait till Monday the 6/19/17 , told them thats fine . so i waited till Monday called them back and they told me the parts are not in yet, so i said ok ill wait till Wednesday the 6/21/17. didnt heard any thing from them so i went to dealer my self on 6/21/17 told them i want to pick up my car even its not done. this guy tells me we might have bigger problem then what we through, ( didnt call me or any thing to let me know ) i told them i want to pick up my car . they said ok , now im getting ready to pick up my car, they gave me a bill of 536$ saying you have to pay this money ( even tho my plugs were fine) just because they " Thought" that was the problem. then one of the manager said how about you only pay 438$ . they wouldnt let me have my car so i had to pay $438 to pick my car and that wasnt even the problem,. so i paid 438$ to some thing that wasnt even the issue! just because they thought it was

my tahoe still under the warranty ,i had a leak from the antenna after 3 visits and a lot of damage in the car ....finally they replace the antenna and they did poor poor work on cleaning the stain........not happy at all .and after that they send me a survey and i mention exactly what happen .........never received a call . what is count is the service ...........

Overall, disappointment is an understatement. This place went from what I thought was going to be a great experience, to a complete and total train wreck. Let me start by saying I was in the market for a new Silverado. I was recommended to a salesman at Clay (I will not name names) and was expecting good things. When I first went up to Clay, things were what appeared to be in good working order. The sales guy was solid and what appeared to be stand up at the time. They took me for a test drive, numbers were discussed, and we came to what we thought to be an agreement. I left Clay that day feeling good. I called back with information and placed a down payment on the Silverado I test drove. This was a Demo truck, and I thought I was getting a good deal based on the circumstances. I put a down payment down on the numbers the dealership and I agreed with. At this point, this truck was suppose to be mine within a few days and some fine tuning. This is where things turned into an experience that left me with a permanent bad taste in my mouth. The salesman was following up with me fairly regularly until a new buyer came along. A family member stopped by to look at the truck I placed a down payment on, and it was on a test drive. Yes, the truck I placed my name on was on a test drive. Im convinced that the salesman found a new buyer, and called me back that night upping my monthly payments by over $200 a month knowing this would back me out. Just like the salesman hoped for, I withdrew my name. He happily replied "Alright man Ill cancel you out for good, take care!!!". Three days later, Im fighting to get my down payment back. The dealership is being uncooperative during this process. When its said and done, I hope the dealer made some money off their new sale. They played games, wasted my time, and most of all treated me as if I was of lesser value. If I could leave this place 0 stars, I happily would. Thanks for wasting my time, and especially thanks for nothing. I wouldnt send my worst enemy here.

My car was recently attacked by a shopping cart in one of the local stores - the result was a fully scratched up rear quarter. David Hernandez (service rep) reviewed the damage to the car and made recommendations. The results were beyond my expectations. My 6 year old car looks brand new again! I have had a number of cars over the years but I have never had a service rep work with me they way David Hernandez does. He takes the time to make sure everything is done to the customers satisfaction.....follow up calls to check in and make sure I have no other questions. Recently my husband and I purchased a Silverado truck from Clay. We had the pleasure of dealing with Shawn Gallagher for this purchase. Mr Gallagher went above and beyond in helping us. My husband works over 300 miles away and the time he was suppose to pick up his new truck was not convenient for him. Mr Gallagher came into work on his day off in order for my husband to pick up his truck. He was always helpful and pleasant. My husband had to drive right back to work and wasnt able to get all the info on all the gagets on his new truck, Shawn suggested he come back when possible and he will go over everything with him.

I dropped off a 2014 Silverado for a recall issue and to fix a vibration when traveling 70 mph. (the vibration was getting worse over the past 500 miles). I left the vehicle at 9am, at 3:30pm I got a call that the vehicle would have to be held overnight. Speaking with the service writer, in the course of an 8 hour day, all they had done was road test the vehicle. Requesting to speak with the manager, the discussion I had with Bill Maloney went along the lines of this, he told me to come get my vehicle, hes not doing the work on it. (funny thing is they didnt do any work to it /they had employee issues and numerous other excuses too)....... "YOU DONT WANT TO BUILD A RELATIONSHIP WITH A CHEVROLET OWNER".......was his exact words........ I would HIGHLY recommend a dealership that enjoys a customers......... and can complete simple services as balancing tires
"More Hassle Than A New Car Should Be"
I went in to Clay Hyundai in Norwood with a quote from TrueCar in hopes of a fast, easy transaction. They honored the quote, but tried every trick in the book with my trade. After 90 minutes of "phone calls" they finally gave fair market for the trade (I had gotten the same quote from 3 separate dealers, including one in the adjacent lot, so I knew my ask was reasonable as it was offered elsewhere). Then I simply asked for the bottom line price... which I had to calculate myself. The salesperson was not knowledgable, nor could he do simple math (which he later blamed on not taking his Adderall that day). It took 5 hours total on a deal that was pre-negotiated.

"Outstanding Car Buying Experience"
As a guy that despises the car buying process, I have to say that the experience that I had at Clay Hyundai was excellent! I had never considered Hyundai, being a Ford owner for so long, but at the advice of family members who love their Hyundai vehicles, I went. When I arrived on the lot, I was met by Mike Fink - I explained to him that I was just starting to look and that I wasn’t quite sure what I wanted, I was also adamant I wasn’t buying that day. Mike spent a few minutes talking to me about what was important to me and recommended I look at the Veloster Turbo, which I really like straight away. He also took me out in a Tucson when I asked to see a larger vehicle to help in making a decision. There was never any pressure, Mike was incredibly helpful and genuinely vested in making sure I got what I wanted and I was comfortable with the process. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything about each vehicle and I could tell it wasn’t a script, he knew his stuff! After the test drives and the overall experience, I realized that if the Veloster Turbo hadn’t already sold me on Hyundai, the people there and their service did. I felt comfortable enough right then and there to buy my Veloster Turbo and trade my Ford Fusion. There was no haggling, no back and forth, no gimmicks, just a conversation that ended in a deal I felt good about. Best of all, there were no ridiculous questions like “if we come up with numbers you’re happy with, would you buy a vehicle from us today?†I really felt like Mike and his sales manager were trying to help and never felt like I was being taken advantage of – I honestly felt good about the deal the whole time! By the time Mike and the sales manager finished working with me, it was an hour after closing on Sunday, I had offered to come back the next day, but Mike assured me that time wasn’t an issue and that this was about me getting what I want. The next day my car was ready to pick up, Mike called me with the details, and asked when I’d be able to come in – I couldn’t make it until a half hour before closing, Mike didn’t skip a beat and told me it was no problem at all. When I arrived, the finance manager closing the sale was a real pleasure to work with; he didn’t try to sell me unnecessary add-ons, and took the time to explain everything. While I was signing, Mike moved what was left in my old car to my new one. He also swapped my plates, which were secured by anti-theft screws to which I forgot to bring the key, so he had to work extra hard to get them off, I felt bad, but he reassured me that it was no problem. When I finished signing, it was after closing, when I told Mike that he didn’t have to stay behind and go over the features with me, he insisted it was no problem – I never felt rushed and felt like I was important, what more could you ask for? He signed me up for the Bluelink service, scheduled my first oil change, went over the features of the vehicle and made sure I had his number to call him any time with any questions. I felt like I was buying the car from a buddy. Mike Fink, his sales manager, the finance manager and also the other sales people I encountered during my time at the dealership were all incredibly friendly and helpful. I have never had such a great experience buying a car. I was a loyal Ford customer, but I don’t get service like this at the Ford dealer. For me, the service is just as important as the vehicle, I really feel like I ended up with an innovative new vehicle from a dealership that has innovated car buying with outstanding customer service. I can proudly say that I’m a loyal Hyundai customer now and with an experience like this under my belt, I look forward to the next time I do business with Clay Hyundai. We purchased a new 2013 Hyundai Accent GS from Clay Hyundai. Overall we had a great experience. Especially with our Salesman, Mike Fink. Before purchasing this car we were T-Bound and Mike would meet us at the train station and drop us off afterwards, after every meeting. He worked hard to make sure the experience was as smooth as can be. He also worked hard to get us the car WE wanted, not the car they wanted to sell us. Our pick of color was a rare one that took some searching to find but he did it and got it to us long before the original anticipated delivery date. Our dealing with the finance department was a little annoying. They got us a great financing agreement that we signed off on. Then when delivery time came around they said that the Hyundai Financing wouldnt honor the agreement and they had to go through another bank. This added about $5 a month to our payment. After some renegotiating we were able to meet in the middle and the payment was only $2 more a month. All in all we had a great experience and we are in LOVE with our new car.

Not all car dealers and sales persons are created equal. The first new car I bought in my life was from a dealer who sold and ran, it didnt take me long to find out why. Despite buying brand new, I got a bad car. He was no where to be found and ducked his head when I started coming in for the warranty work. The next car, my current car, was from Patricia smith at clay hyundai. If youre looking for a car, ask for her by name. She set me up with a car I love at a great deal and took care if all the extras I asked for. I did go used, and she personally handled my transportation while they took out all the dings and dents at the service department. I came in for my follow up ( they gave me free oil change and car washes) and she was still taking car of me. Papers signed, car is mine, and the sales person still sticking around to make sure everything is perfect! Theres no doubt that clay hyundai sticks by its customers.
