I drove almost all of the cars in the family sedan class before deciding on the Mazda6. I had quite the range of experiences with other brands dealerships from uninspired to utterly chauvinistic, but Elliott Hersh at Lannan Mazda was different and by far the most professional and helpful. He took a lot of time to explain the design of the car technically along with all of the great features. I really appreciate that he treated me as an educated buyer. The negotiating and sign-off process took about 2.5 to 3 hours. We didnt feel pressured into buying extended warranties or special paint treatments as I have in the past at other dealerships. Paul, the service advisor who met me, shook my had and greeted me by name. He explained how service works at Lannan company. When done, he explained the sheet with the status update for the systems in my car. He thanked me and then walked me out to my car to be sure everything was all set before I drove off. I have never been treated so well at a car dealership in the 25 years I have owned a car. I also had a great buying experience with Bryce when I purchased the car. It took me a week of reading reviews and test driving to pick the vehicle I really wanted. Sam kept in touch the entire time, and was very helpful during my final test drive and selection process. Beyond the experience, the car itself seems very well made....much more solid than the Toyota and Honda overall....great fit/finish. When I requested a manual transmission in a specific color, he got it for me without any pressure to buy the car they had on the lot instead, and he held it until I could get in a few days later. I appreciated that, unlike other car dealerships, there was no pressure. The sales process was fine, but the customer service that follows is non-existent . Very unprofessional. They refuse to answer e-mails or phone calls asking for an appointment to have someone explain the GPS. When Dave, the salesman, showed me the GPS during the sales process, he kept having trouble with it, and commented that he was learning along with me. I like my new Mazda a lot, but now only want to get rid of it. I find it extremely frustrating to have that big, useless screen on the dashboard without being able to use it. I called yesterday to ask where Mazdas US headquarters is, but they refuse to answer. Buying a car at this Lowell location was an enormous mistake. In fact, one of the biggest mistakes Ive ever made.

Great Experience! I purchased a 2014 Grand Touring CX5 AWD yesterday from Lannan Mazda. It was a great buying experience. I took a test drive with Elliott a few weeks prior and he was great at pointing out the features of the car. I told him that I wanted to test drive a few crossovers - Honda CRV, Toyota Rav 4 and Ford Escape and then make a decision. He was not pushy or obtrusive in anyway. A few weeks later after I had completed my test drives, Elliott called just to ask how I was doing and if I had any questions. I told him I had made my decision! He quickly was able to get everything rolling and I went in to take delivery. I met with Barbara to go over all the paperwork and she was great and thorough as well. I told them I decided I wanted to install Lojack and they called and asked for a Tech to come out to the dealership that day so I wouldnt have to make another trip. When the Lojack showed up very late (not Lannans fault!) Elliott made a contingency plan to give me a loaner so I could pick up my daughter from school and get some dinner. Once I returned Lojack was finishing up and we were shortly underway! It was a great experience overall and since I hadnt purchased a car in over 12 years I was a bit nervous. Also, if you are shopping with a family member(s) Ellliott is great at including them in the process and answering their questions too!

Found my self on a Monday leaving the Veterans Hospital thinking I should go out and look at the car I ended up buying. Mazda2, which I knew before hand was in my price range is what I wanted to look at. Upon arriving at Lannan Mazda in Lowell,Ma I was greeted promptly by a gentleman named Elliott Hersh. After a quick introduction I made it aware to him i was interested in the Mazda2 Hatchback. Test drive was great. I had traded in my 2000 Mazda Protege and was happy with it to the point at which i knew I would get another Mazda. The experience was very good at this location that I signed a purchase agreement and finalized the paper work and drove away in my 2014 Mazda2. I would definitely recommend this dealer to friends and family. Hopefully in the future I find myself back and getting the car I wanted but couldnt afford at this time, the Mazda6.

I stopped in to check out a Mazda SUV about a month ago and met Sam Gordon. He was so very nice and answered all my questions, was very knowledgeable and showed me what I requested. I told him that I did not plan to buy immediately and was also looking at a new Toyota Rav ( I planned to trade-in my ten year old Rav) and a Subaru, Forrester. He did not pressure me in anyway and hoped that I would consider a Mazda after all my research. He did mention all the reasons that a Mazda was a better choice for me but again, their was no pressure. He shook my hand and hoped that I would come back. When I did return, it was to just check out a Mazda one more time before I purchased the Rav-4 that I had test driven a few minutes before and planned to purchase. I asked for Sam and he came over immediately, remembered me and made me comfortable with coffee while he was with a customer. Then someone else came over and asked me if I would like a test drive again while Sam was finishing up. I fell in love with the CX-5, received what I thought was a fair price and what I really loved was when I returned to pick up my vehicle, Sam took so much time to go over every detail with me even having me bring in my Touch to show me how to set that up. He showed me all the Bluetooth capabilities and had total patience with me. I am planning to drive my new Mazda to Florida in a few days and Sam gave me his cell number and told me to call with any questions anytime and especially if I have questions on my drive. Anyway, this story is too long but I just wanted to say that Sam Gordon was an excellent Salesman, was not arrogant or pushy. He did treat me with respect unlike a couple of other dealers. I went there based on the reviews and a positive experience my daughter had a few years ago buying a new vehicle. I was disappointed at the process. The salesman was a nice guy, very pleasant and the same guy who handled my daughters sale. I let myself get taken so shame on me. It took multiple back and forth to get a decent price on the new vehicle and they lowballed me on the trade-in and then listed it for sale at $3500 over what they gave me. I made the mistake but I would urge people to go into it with their eyes open-these guys will take you if they can. I will urge others to stay away.

Right off you notice the squeaky clean service garage. Tiffany Smith, the intake guru, was super friendly and answered all my questions. The service team worked really hard to diagnose an intermittent warning light problem and although it took a few tries, they figured it out. If you want a stress free, no pressure, car buying experience, even if some of these other dealers have told you your ridiculous, This team of people will make it happen! Trust their word if they say they cant make it happen, and just head over to Walmart for some new shoes because nobody can if they cant! I am absolutely not an easy person to make happy and certainly was not an easy person to get financed and personally thought it was not even possible. After 2 weeks of having the car i noticed a "blemish" on the car, and without any hesitation at all they requested for me to drop the car off to be touched up. I bought a new MX-5 just over a month ago from Lannan. The experience buying it was rather nice. Mike was very informative and really friendly the entire time. The car practically sold itself after experiencing it on a test drive, but it was nice to know that Lanna takes customer satisfaction its #1 priority. I have to admit, the sales manager could have definitely budged on the price a little more, but it was only a minor criticism i could offer. Over all, like the experience at Lannan, and if Mazda keep pushing out product as they currently are, i will definitely be back to pick up another mazda!
