Ive given high ratings to this dealers service department before but this time I took my car in because the drivers restraint warning light was on. This was not the first time the warning light came on. Dealer fixed it and termed it a "one time goodwill due to suspected outside influence". However I came back the same week because I noticed the passengers restraint warning light was on. This time the dealer would not repair the issue even though the light was fine until their techs worked on the drivers warning light. The dealer again claimed it was due to "outside influence" and would not elaborate; I would need to pay almost $400 for a diagnostic test (which I declined); did not state what they did in their final invoice and only stated that "customer declined further diagnosis". In short, I basically exchanged one problem for another during my two consecutive visits to this dealer and still dont have any clear explanation why these warning lights are on.

Went to Monrovia BMW for the used car because ive had service on my other car for years, and felt confident in the company. specified what i wanted - year, make, price - as a guide. salesperson took my request seriously and didnt waste time with upsetting . Each employee paid attention, none focused on the sale over me - and they all seemed genuinely pleased that theyd made a match. LOVE THE CAR. beautifully cared for, detailed, with all service info.

overall, told them that had problem to smog my car . said not ready yet and need to drive more. already drove for 700miles + and still not ready. Shop BMW Monrovia need to program DME module and drive cycle. Drive cycle means to drive more and have to pay $ 255. Disagree the charges and just drove my car for another 700miles and passed the smog. Thank you
