The service department at Capitol Volkswagen has the worst customer service of any car dealer Ive ever been to. I have been there multiple times over the last year, and each time they make me wait, dont address waiting customers, dont explain bills, and mis-quote prices. Overall they have been consistently rude, and dishonest. I see many good reviews of their sales staff--that I cant vouch for. But avoid their service department if at all possible. They give a bad name to the DGDG dealers, which typically are pretty good.

Took my car in the other week because my check engine light was on. They diagnosed the problem a lot quicker than i was expecting and gave me a quote for repair that was pretty spot on - no coming back to me with any surprises, which i appreciated.

Purchased a car via Costco at this dealer. Excellent price, super easy purchase experience as expected. The only pain was I had to special order the car and the delivery was delayed by a port workers union strike! Uwanah was great to deal with and patient with my nagging.

After the seventh time the air bag warning was replaced, these guys decided that we needed to pay for it as the first six times were a safety issue. Now it considered abusive behavior. I guess you arent supposed to open the passenger seat in a two door car!

I had a discussion with couple of Sales Manager at Volkswagen for a Jetta Model and I feel that the response was very cold as when I tried to talk about matching offers on the same cars by other dealers , i was blindly refused, I would love to buy a CPO car from Volkswagen but it seems other dealers are having same model with better pricing..

I purchased a 2010 Mercedes benz glk 350 it was exactly what i was looking for and they had it at an excellent price . The only thing that i overlooked was the tires it needs new tires and i realized that after getting home from the dealer. other than that i have no complaints, they are excellent.

I am happy with the car and with the Capitol Volkswagen team that helped me get into the car. The only problem after getting home and inspecting the car i realized that the car is in need of new tires all 4 four that is.

They will be happy to sell you a car at more than their lowest price, but also will match other dealers with no hassles if you just ask. Sunnyvale and Capital are the two biggest dealers in the area and each will match the price of the other. Sunnyvale will give their lowest prices via email, so use those to get that price at Capital if that is your choice (they are part of the Del Grand dealer group which is among the largest in the area owning 11 dealerships).

I have recently purchased a 2012 jetta sportswagon TDI from Capitol Volkswagon. I live in Santa Cruz but found the sales person so superior that I chose to make the drive. I will also continue to make the drive for all my service needs as the entire experience was excellent. I knew what I wanted from the start, in Santa Cruz I was told I had to "get over" wanted a red car. I called Pam and was told red was not as available as other colors but she would do her best and let me know. Afew days later she called and said there might be one available. The first car actually fell through, but Pam was working hard to find me what I wanted. In less than a week my car was delivered.When I went to purchase the car, everything was just as she said, the price, the options, everything. I was surprised that I was not pressured to add anything. The lady who helped me with financing was also wonderful! She worked to get me the best rate and was proffesional and personable. I have brought my car in for one servicing and once again everything was exactly as promised, my car was finished in a timely manner and the rental car offered me was there.
