After spending $9,000 for extended warranty, mechanical repair protection, and the like, East Bay BMW just declined an A/C issue under all of those additions I purchased. In fact, the dealer and the warranty and the mechanical repair people all pointed their fingers at the other product. And guess who was stuck with the bill, ME!

The customer service here is amazing! I first came to East Bay BMW when we were visiting family over Thanksgiving and had issues with our tires and some road damage: Diego was our Service Advisor and was very helpful and friendly, and Angelo was so nice and helpful making sure we had a loaner car and would not miss any of our vacation because we were stuck without a car. My husband and I moved back to the Bay Area recently, and and our 535Xi needed service, so because of the great service and personal attention we got last time we made an appointment with Diego to have the car looked at; and Diego remembered us from November and Angelo helped again to get us a loaner car and was once again nice and friendly. So, after browsing the lot I realized that I wanted a coupe after seeing all the new cars and my lease was ending soon. I met with Terrance Cooper to help me get a new car. He was so friendly and professional; sometimes when you go to a dealership people are not always helpful, however, Terrance was! We ended up leasing a 428i from him, and I would totally recommend East Bay BMW to all my friends because the staff there are awesome. Thank you!

Answers all my questions so I know whats going on with my car super personable and lets me know my car is in good hands. Based off the service I get at east bay bmw Ill be driving bmws for a long time and be purchasing them all from east bay! Cant wait to see how the car looks with new black kidney grills!

I am not sure how much it has to do with BMW and how much with East Bay BMW service practices but here is my experience: Took my 2012 550I GT as the I-drive controllers select button stopped working. I was offered a rental clunker from Enterprise which I accepted. Next day, I was informed that some brown liquid was found on the controller and warranty does not cover spills. So far so good. The estimate was $691.34 for the controller, $241.70 for labor, $186 for diagnostics, $241.80 for "Program", $99 for Wash and Vacuum (cleaning the brown liquid!). Here is what earned the 1 star: The MSRP for the part is $507.52 and available on internet for $387.31, delivered; $183.82 over MSRP $304.03 over what someone is selling it, presumably, for a profit. "Program" every time I replace a mouse on my computer, do I need to get new operating system? The kicker was when I was informed that I will have to pay for the clunker Dodge Dart I was provided as the repair was not covered by warranty and, apparently, BMW reimburses the dealer for the rental when repairs are covered under warranty.

All I have to say is superb. His customer service is second to none. If you have to take your car in for service, ask for Jonathan, you wont be disappointed.

Went into the dealership a week after buying one of their used cars. I had some questions about a possible engine defect, ventilation issues and the sound system. I figured that, once they made the initial sale, I wouldnt receive much help. I spoke to an advisor, Travis Fox, who took quite a bit of time to listen and then investigate each and every concern I had. He researched the cars history and explained in great detail and to my satisfaction what was--or wasnt--going on with my car. He was very professional and didnt try to sell me anything or brush me off. Great service from Mr. Fox!

Slightly more than a year ago we were looking to trade in our low mileage 2007 X5 for a new one. We not only found a beautiful new X5 it was a twin-turbo... and the sales person (Charles) was willing to offer a decent amount for our "old" one. The deal was struck the same day. Now, a year later, the car reports on itself that it is time for a service. WE meet Jonathan Castaing (Service Advisor) . He is courteous, attentive, and tolerant... Particularly important to me because I do a tedious and slow complete "walk around" picking up and dropping off any of our cars. I am pleased to report I have confidence in Jonathan: something that does not come easily for me. I am not a big fan of careless or condescending car dealerships. We have some pretty nice cars and we like to keep them nice!! Every bay area dealer we have delt with broke our dented two things for every one thing they fixed.... They have all rightfully faded into the past and disappeared. I expect to see East Bay BMW doing very well for many years.. and it is because of the excellent staff like Jonathan Castaing. Well worth the extra miles it takes us to get down to Pleasanton. Even with their current CONSTRUCTION going on... everything has been a 5 STAR experience. Nice! Thanks Jonathan

I returned for my encore with the product genius a few weeks later and I felt welcomed by the staff. I brought my brand new 3 series for yearly service, my experiences have been extremely poor. It took 15 minutes for them to see me even after i had appointment and when i drove my car back when servicing done, i heard noise when i applying brakes. I called them back and they refused to see it immediately and gave me new appointment 2 weeks later. The customer service is very very bad. There was a follow up call from servicing dept after a week and when i told them about it, they apologized but didnt offer earlier servicing date. I cant believe they have no time to check the car they screwed up. I am now thinking of switching the dealership for servicing.

I bought my Civic Hybrid from them yesterday for a great price. During the financing there is a little problem from our end. However, they were so very patient with us and took care of us really well. Our sales person, Lena Chi was terrific. She stayed back till we finalized the deal which approx. took 4hrs. You dont expect the sales people to be so patient and wait till 10PM in the night on a Sunday! Overall, its a great car for a great price from a great dealer.

I was at Eastbay Bmw last week and I had the pleasure of Working with the nicest client advisor by the name of Matthew Allen! I spent over an hour of un rushed, pressure free time with Matthew and had the best Car buying , test drive experience Ive ever had! I had just left 2 other luxury dealerships in the Bay Area "Mercedes & Audi" where the experience was pushy and very Much so the typical "Car salesmen" approach. Matthew was just the opposite, he was kind and considerate, and took the time to listen rather than speak over me. I was continuously offered water, coffee and Snacks when ever he had to run to talk with the manager. We took a great test drive from the highway to the backroads and he allowed me to push the car & i got the chance to feel the power & control of the suspension. He had me stop the car on the backroad & explained all of the features and answered all of my questions with a smile on his face. Long story short, Matthew offered the best car dealership experience I have ever had. If you want a pleasant experience with a non pushy salesmen than I highly Recommend EastBay bmw & especially Matthew!
