"Must Stop For Used Cars"

If you are going to buy a used car, Hertz Car Sales is a must. I bought a Mazda 3I sport in prime condition. My sales person, Tammy Watkins, was very helpful, knowleagable, pleasant to talk to, and very low pressure. I test drove 3 cars and could have test driven as many as I wanted without feeling as if she was getting annoyed. The cars price was at the lower end of the Kelly Blue Book. The car had a few scratches in it, but the Manager, Miguel Galindo, was more than happy to take care of that, and he gave me a very good extended warranty price. Cars here have higher mileage, but they are well maintained and priced well. I highly recommend Hertz.

Im loving my 2014 Kia Soul thanks to Hertz Car Sales - Torrance! After a horrible experience at a different dealership, Hertz Car Sales Torrance taught me how enjoyable buying a car should be. Overall - They went above and beyond to answer all of my questions and give me piece of mind with my purchase. Customer Service - Conrad, who was may primary point of contact, made himself accessible to answer all of my questions as they came up. When he promised to take care of my few little concerns with the vehicle, he truly meant it. (No tricky dealership stuff at this location) Buying Process - After being offered all of the expected warranties and financing options, I moved forward with what fit best for me. The office was never bossy or played any games. They just presented some solid options to consider. (I appreciate their "No Games" approach). Quality of Repairs - Although the Hertz vehicles are in great shape, I did have a few minor concerns that were addressed and taken car of as promised in a timely manner. I wont go into detail, but I will say that this dealership stands by their promises and doesnt give you the runaround. Facilities - Although I selected my vehicle through the Hertz Rent2Buy program, they had a lot full of good looking cars. The one thing I can speak of is the office and dealership lobby. It was clean and well lit. I never felt the exhaustion of sitting around in a miserable lobby. The tone of their lobby is very positive. My final thoughts: Conrad, Mike, and Miguel are stand up acts. They really make you feel, and KNOW, you are getting a great deal.

"An Honest Man, Thats Not So Honest."

I informed the sales manager at this Hertz that one of his cars on the lot had mechanical repairs that needed to be addressed for safety reasons. When I brought the car I was considering to buy to my mechanic he insisted that the car had been in a collision on the driver side fender and that the noise I was hearing when steering to the left was a tie-rod (Even though their CarFax report stated no accidents). I informed the manager of what my mechanic had found and asked him if this would be taken care of before he sold the car to another unsuspecting customer. He replied, "Honestly, Im going to forget about this conversation once I walk back inside." For the sake of your familys safety, dont ever consider going here to buy a car!

As a 1st time car buyer I had test driven numerous cars and dealt with a variety of car dealerships and car dealers who had their pitches and tactics. I was looking for at a specific Toyota Prius and from the beginning, and before I even arrived, Jose contacted me with all the information I needed with no pressure and a chill attitude. My experince once I arrived was exactly the same. Jose was friendly, informative, and actually presented me with another Prius option that wasnt even listed. Information was clear. And a no-haggling price took the pressure off of the entire proceeding. And when I needed to call to line up auto insurance they allowed me to use their phones and computer for however long I needed to do some comparison shopping. I had driven in with a Hertz rental but thanks Jose, who personally offered to drop-off my Rental car for me so I didnt have to worry about it, I was able to drive off the lost with my own car. Now THAT is going above and beyond for your customer. Whoever walks into that office and gets Jose Miron as a sales rep sure is a lucky person! I know it sounds silly, but I kind of wish I had more money just so I can go in and buy another car and be treated so well like that again. LOL.

I bought my very first car through Hertz Car Sales back in 1977, a Ford Maverick, so I was familiar with how the system worked and the quality of their used cars. The current inventory at the Torrance location is very easy to research online, and the prices seem to be lower than comparable cars over at Carmax down the street. The prices and details for all of their cars are listed on their web site. However, if you go down to the lot, the price isnt listed on the sticker. Theres a QR code on the sticker, though, that you can scan (I use the ScanLife app for the iPhone) that will show you the price, along with all of the details about the car that is on the online description. Our salesperson, Tammy, made it very easy for us to select a car. She asked what we were looking for as far as price and mileage, then used her list of their inventory to narrow down our selections. The whole selection and buying process was relatively quick, even though we browsed through a number of different cars. We ended up test driving three cars: a Nissan Versa, a Volkswagon Jetta, and a Toyota Corolla. We decided on a Corolla with about 30K miles on it. Very happy with the whole experience, and Tammy even recommended a separate, online site where we could get spare keys made for less than what the Toyota dealer would charge. Would highly recommend Hertz Car Sales down in Torrance if youre looking for a used car. Note that they dont take credit card payment, only cash, check, or cashiers check.

I have a family of 4 and after 2 weeks of toruture going to dealer after dealer trying to get more bang for our buck, we discovered Hertz Car Sales, and we hit the JACKPOT!. Jose Miron was amazing and the process was so easy we were in and out so fast (Previously Dealt The Details Over the phone) and drove away in our new/used Camry Car. Dont look any further, you will not get better value than here, and Im a weby, techy guru. I searched everywhere, we visited 10 Dealers and 8 private sellers, and we will never buy another car from anywhere else. All the people (including Jose) were awesome as well. Let me start off by saying that if i could give this dealership 10 stars i would, but the limit is 5 stars here on cars .com is 5 stars so that will have to do. my wife and 3 kids and my self are very Grateful with this dealership for helping us out in our time of need. i been searching many car dealerships on http://cars.com for a few weeks now to buy a new or certified used car and no one of whom i have contacted would return my calls, or emails and i was a serious buyer. i was honestly at the point of giving up but then i got contacted by Bobby Grimes from Hertz car sales in Torrance, California. before i came in to see the car of my choice, he kept the communication going by email and even phone calls and he answered all of my questions and concerns. i have purchased other cars in my passed and i have never had such an awesome experience at any dealership, EVER!!!!! most places i have gone to in the pass would push me to buy a car i wasnt ready for or tried to direct me to a car i never had intentions in buying but that wasnt the case at Hertz Car Sales. i came in to see a 2012 Hyundai Genesis Sedan and thats exactly what they showed me. i really have to give a Huge thanks to Jose for doing the Test drive with me in the genesis and to Bobby for keeping in touch with me till i was ready to come in and see the car and buy. when i arrived i was greeted very politely by Jose and even got to meet the manager Miguel, they made me feel very welcomed and even joked around with me and that made me feel very comfortable. i had a few concerns about my credit because my fico scores were between 644 and 687 but i did have some high balances on some of my credit accounts, and wasnt sure if i would get approved for a car. but Miguel the manager and Bobby worked with me to get me the best deal and they did!!!!!! i drove off the lot today 2/09/2014 Sunday with a very nice and well maintained 2012 Hyundai Genesis sedan with a full tank of gas with absolutely no money down and a incredible interest rate of 5% APR!!!! these Guys are the real deal and the no Haggle pricing is 100% true, i was in and out within 2 hours, i would highly recommend them for your car buying, yes its true the cars they have were rentals but trust me they are well maintained and drive like new.
