This is actually the second vehicle we purchased from Ocean. We originally went to another dealer and they didnt help us at all. They never listened to a thing we said or what we actually wanted. Went to Ocean a few days later and they were great. We couldnt decide between two different cars and they were wonderful showing us all the models available and walking the lot more than one time. When we finally decided on which vehicle we wanted, they were awesome in getting us financed. They listened every step of the way which is really important to me, when you are making such a large purchase. Our sales guys, Buzz Noe was fabulous as were all the guys including those in Finance. You cannot go wrong buying a car from Ocean Honda!

Shopping for a type R on Cars.com. Show Ocean Honda has a black one for $34,775. Contact them and find out the price is not accurate (and is much higher). Very frustrating as I have bought vehicles on Cars.com before and have always paid the price that was advertised.

"Dont Make Appointments, The Dont Honor Them!"
I made an appointment before 11 am to meet them at 2 pm. Got a text the car was ready around noon. Then got a call to postpone my visit until 3. I arrived at 2:30 and the car was being sold to another customer. The manager said first on the lot is there policy. They made one thousand more because I had the internet price. Very unethical business practices. Avoid this dealership please.

I came into this dealership after visiting a couple different places for my new car in January. I came alone and was a little worried Id get taken advantage of. Dealerships can be a scary place when youre buying your first car alone! I was a bit guarded. I got placed into Omar Aquinos care and he immediately took me under his wing and got me plugged in. I had a few issues with my credit, but he got me the best deal for what I wanted. He was knowledgeable and savvy. Most of all he made me feel like a friend. I bought a 2016 Honda Civic that day and couldnt be happier. Its been 4 months now and Ive brought my car in for the typical check ups and an oil change with ease and care. Best part is that Omar always pops by to say hi! Will recommend this supreme experience to anyone thats looking to buy a car.

Not a good experience for my family. We drove quite a distance to see a car . When we drove up the cars were so close together that another patron had opened the door to the truck he wanted to look at and totally dented the door of the car we wanted to look at. The management was gracious, and quite sorry but the damage was done for us, and we drove home. :(

Ocean Honda is the best car company around. This weekend I brought my friend to buy from Honda and they helped her out big time! Then the same day I decide to upgrade my Honda! I cant say enough good things about watching my friend get her van and my own car buying experience. They honestly treat you like family and make the experience of buying or leasing stress free. They try their best to put you in a vehicle that is good for you financially and not make a deal thats going to hurt you in the long run. I appreciate and value this from a car company. The people who work here (Chris, Franklin, Steve, Mo, Luke, and many more) are a pleasure to work with and they always go above and beyond to treat us like family. The staff is honest, friendly, knowledgeable and laid back. Theyre not your average pushy salespeople. My husband and I have brought a lot of family and friends to Ocean because we know theyre going to be treated right and taken care of, we value this company! Drove down to Ocean as they had the car I wanted (exterior/interior color combination) and armed with a competitive quote from another dealer. After some initial discussions the price was agreed upon,(they matched the quote from the other dealer) and we were off to the races. It does take a prolonged time to actually buy a car, even with when doing a cash transaction. Must be the way of things these days. Janeth did a fine job negotiating through the entire process and was extremely helpful throughout the @ 2 hours to close this transaction. I think the only anomaly came when I was about to head to the "finance office"(after already writing the check) and the Office manager popped in and wanted to entice me to "finance" the car for a few months in order to save a little money. Nice gesture but that really should have come prior to me writing a check to pay for the car. I did not take him up on his offer. All in all, a very good experience. I would have no problem recommending Ocean to anyone about to buy a new car there.

Last week I bought my second Honda Civic and couldnt be happier with the service Ive received at Ocean Honda of Ventura. My Helpful Honda Guy, Buzz Noe, sold me my last Civic and I had no second thoughts about shopping anywhere else for this car. Everyone at Ocean Honda has been super helpful and made my buying experience easy for me. From the excellent support I can always expect from Buzz to the extra effort given by the finance department to make that part quick and easy; theyve all been just great! Oh, by the way...yesterday Buzz drove from Ventura all the way to the far side of Oxnard...in the rain...twice to bring me my secondary key fob and to help me with my Blue Tooth function. Just took advantage of Consumer Reports’ Build & Buy service to buy a 2016 Honda Civic LX. It’s a great car-buying service that saves a lot of time and hassle. Consumer Reports recommended two Honda dealers in my area, so with my price quotes in hand I went to Ocean Honda of Ventura. They had just the car I wanted and we came up with a fair price with no hassle. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Omar Rodriguez, who bent over backwards finding the right car and making the paperwork process as smooth as possible—he seems to really enjoy his job, and it shows. Omar also took the time to explain the new car’s functions and features, plus threw in a tour of the service department. I’m not a big fan of the car-buying process, but Ocean Honda of Ventura and Omar made it surprisingly painless. I got in and out pretty quickly with the exact car I wanted at a good price. Couldn’t ask for more than that.

He has no integrity on promises he made before buying the car, my car needed a few minor repairs and they havent been done yet. My car was bought in august. My advice, sign no paper work on buying the car until all repairs are done. If they give you any hassle walk away from the deal. It will save you headache in the long run. Never buy a pre-owned vehicle that was a prior rental you will have future problems with it. The dealer goes to auction buys these cars for cheap then sells high to you. Never do business with OMAR at this dealership, hes new and doesnt know anything about any car on the lot. Just ask about features on any car and he doesnt know.

I needed to purchase a new SUV and as I started noticing cars on the road I saw tons of Honda CR-Vs and I thought they were the cutest car out there. On that simple visual review, plus my experience of having owned a Honda Accord many years ago, I decided on a Honda. My son-in-law was kind enough to help me with this purchase and so we headed to Ocean Honda of Ventura. Frank, the sales consultant saw us on the lot and asked if he could help. I told him what I wanted, he found that car and the rest just fell into place. The finance manager, Silvano did a wrap on the paperwork, we were loaned a car until my new car was personally delivered to my home in Santa Barbara. Everyone one at the dealership was exceptionally kind. Im thrill to be driving my new CR-V, thanks to Frank, Silvano and the Ocean Honda Dealership. You all are Fab!
