Brayan was vey thorough and understood very quickly what I needed and how it was effecting the car, so he introduced me to the repair mechanic and we went through the details leading up to the car experiencing problems. After a thorough diagnostic test, they narrowed down the problem and fixed it in less than two hours.

First vist to McKenna today.. Very pleased with the customer service and general atmosphere. Turned out there was no repair work needed as my concerns were normal actions of this new and unknown engine and transmission, but we gave it a 5 star because of the actions of the tech who checked out our vehicle. Over and above what was expected this gentleman that looks the vehicle over and performs the repairs took the time to take us for a drive and point out the workings of the car making sure we were familiar with what we needed to know and werent told when we purchased it new at a different dealership. We were very impressed and plan to return when needed to this Subaru location in Huntington Beach, CA.

So, these guys were awesome. I hate car dealerships and car salesmen in general are something I want to avoid. This place was totally different. It must be the whole "Surf City" vibe, but everyone was laid back, enjoyable to talk to and personable. Of course they tried to sell me a car (and did!) thats their job, but they did it in a courteous, professional way. I might have too come back and watch a few football games on their MASSIVE big screen TV too! Big shout-out to Danny and Romy for taking great care of me and my family!

I already had a 2012 Volkswagen Jetta unfortunately I got a long commute at the new job which required me to look into my options for a better gas mileage vehicle. I decided the easiest way to go would be on the Internet and since my Grandparents live in Fountain Valley I thought it would be a great idea to check out McKenna. Jonathan Mesa was very quick in getting back to me, he gave me a great amount of knowledge, was attentive, professional, outgoing and made my second car buying experience very enjoyable. I also worked with David Dagampat and their finance department was great, overall a very nice experience. I will definitely recommend McKenna Volkswagen Huntington Beach to all of my friends and family. Not only that I definitely recommend seeing Jonathan Mesa, he is awesome and I love my car!

This review would be relevant for those looking to get a car—good credit or not.) ····· I have to explain some background info first before I get to the meat of the review. I don’t typically do reviews. I’m a law student. Nobody has time for that. But when you’ve been given really great service, it’s compelling enough to write a review as a way to appreciate the service and spread the word. Im new to California and have had a DIFFICULT time shopping for a car lease in Huntington Beach due to my credit and status as an unemployed, full-time student. ····· I was inquiring with dealerships online and VW was probably the last on my mind since I felt I couldnt afford a European car. David Dagampat, their Internet Sales Director reached out to me and gave me more information and offered a shuttle ride to bring me to the dealership. I still continued to shop around then decided to give it another try to see if they could give me a better deal than some of the quotes I obtained at Toyota. I’m glad I came back. ····· Here’s why I LOVE McKenna VW, compared to other dealerships I dealt with: - Everyone there is friendly and accessible. By that I mean even their big boss, the GM, Tam Nguyen is there to talk to. They operate like a family. You can talk to ANYONE. You don’t have to work the chain from the sales guy, to the manager, and so on. - Unlike other dealerships that talk negatively about other auto brands/companies, VW does not. Nothing but positive vibes from them. - They will go out of their way to make sure they HELP you get a car. In short, they will give you what you want. If you want to take the car home stat, they will make it happen to the best of their ability. - Unlike other dealerships, they gave me no pressure. They were also very reassuring. - The employees also drive VWs, which is a testament to what they sell. I find it funny sometimes when I go to other dealerships and see that their employees drive a different brand car. - Everyone at VW seems like such sincere, passionate people. My people-reading skills are pretty sharp and I can tell who’s just trying to sell apart from who’s trying to help, and VW has proven the latter. ····· The guys who helped me get a lease on a Jetta were Michael Moran and Lee Miller. They are great people! ····· Another thing that made me really appreciate McKenna VW was the final step in the financial director’s office. (Forgot his name, sorry!) Personally, Ive gone to two other Toyota dealerships and was already SO CLOSE to getting the car, but there was always issues that came up when I finally reached the financial directors office. The sales guys at the previous dealerships all reassured me that I would take the car home, but came to find out it couldnt happen once I reached the finance office. Those guys left me hanging. Anyway, Lee knew I was apprehensive but he reassured me that their finance guy was great. So once I got in there, everything went smoothly. No roadblocks for me, unlike my previous experience. ····· Its great that they have in-house financing and already have such a trusting relationship for their client or potential client. At least for me, thats how I felt. Im just really happy with my Jetta and Im looking forward to building a relationship with this dealership.

I came here looking for a TDI Passat! Ran into Jonathan Mesa a salesman at the dealership. He took excellent care of me. I felt as if I knew him my whole life. Not only did I buy a car but I gained a friend in the process. He made it hassle free. Great customer service here at this dealership. I highly recommend this dealership to anybody looking for a VW! I have been a customer of McKenna Volkswagen going on 10 years now. Most of my experience has been through the Service Department, as I have owned several used VWs not bought from this dealership. The customer service I received has always been excellent, especially as I am a technically knowledgeable person and can at times have very specific needs or requests. If something goes as unanticipated or could cause me any inconvenience whatsoever, the staff has consistently surprised me with the lengths theyll go to either make it right or provide value beyond the work originally requested. Then theres Romy. Ill be honest, while the super-clean facilities and pleasant decor (all kinds of awesome collectibles on display!) are one thing... Romy is the reason I keep coming back. Not only is he hilarious, he knows his product (check out the huge amount of awards on his desk!) and is the most no-frills guy I have ever met in the car sales business; always gives it to you straight, and my oh my does he have a way to get you exactly the deal you want. Recently he worked for months to find me a generally rare, unavailable model... only to have me driving off the lot in less than two hours(!) with the GTI I always wanted (been test driving, with Romy, every model year since 2003) at a price and package I never thought I could afford. Dream come true, and lets all be honest here... who doesnt want to walk away from a dealership with their dignity intact? Romy will do that for you.

I bought my first car, a 2010 Jetta, from Romy almost 2 years ago. I went in last Sunday and told him excactly what I needed and wanted and he found it for me at a great price. He helped me pick out my brand new Passat which has plenty of room for my surfboards and my dog. It was Romys idea and it suits my needs perfectly. I love this dealer because they are always helpful and fast and somehow ALWAYS get you what you want and are never pushy. Since I bought my first car I have sent my Dad, brother, and friend to Romy and they are all happy with their cars. I will go to Romy for my next car for sure.

Yesterday, Monday, September 2, I bought my first car with my parents and I couldnt be more satisfied with the excellent service that we got. Romy was terrific, finding us the best deal and making sure I had signed that paper, and drove off that lot completely happy! We have highly recommended our friends and family to come McKenna Volkswagen. After shopping all day long, Volkswagen was our last stop and I bought a used 2010 Jetta, white with black interior and it is absolutely perfect, and was in perfect condition for a used car and exactly what i was looking for! My experience with McKenna Volkswagen began as a internet inquiry. Shortly after I submitted it, I received a call from John. John was very professional and answered my questions without pressuring me to buy a car. I sent John several e-mails and he replied very quickly, answering my questions and also making some good suggestions regarding different options to buying a vehicle. Great customer service. Based on my interaction with John and getting good information, my wife and I chose to drive 150 miles to give our business to McKenna Volkswagen, when we could have gone to a dealer located about 50 miles away from us. Once we arrived at the dealer we were greeted by Ian and he told us John became ill and was not at the dealer. Ian was very helpful, he looked at the e-mails between John and I, so I did not have to repeat our conversations. We picked out a Passat, test drove it, and Ian handled the paperwork. We were passed on to Cindy in financing who was very friendly and had a great personality, which was refreshing especially when it comes down to the "money" part and it took less than 30 minutes. It all ended with Kelly delivering the car to us and walking us through the ins and outs of the vehicle. Our overall experience was GREAT!!! You could tell this was a team effort and the customer definitely came first. Never, did we feel any pressure to make a purchase but it was easy for us to make that decision based on the customer care we were shown by the staff. I would definitely recommend buying a car from McKenna VW.

I found my used Subaru through Cars.com at McKenna VW in Huntington Beach. I had sent an email inquiring about the car and was called within a half an hour of sending it. I spoke with Christian and he was very helpful in answering my questions so I scheduled an appointment to come down and check it out. I test drove the car, and had a couple of questions about it, so Christian offered to let me drive it home for the day so I could get a better feel for it. I sure am glad he did because it gave me a chance to drive it in everyday driving conditions versus around the block. The buying process was quick and easy and I highly recommended McKenna VW and especially Christian Wann.
