"Good Times"
Great place to buy a car . They had so many cars it was hard to choose. All the people I had to deal with there were very nice. I will go back for service and the next time I need a car.
"Service And Sales"
Bought and service my car here but never wrote a review. Just have to say they treat me very well in service and in sales. I bought 2 cars here and love both of them. I will keep coming here because of the kind people that work here.
"Thank You"
Its a perfect service Perfect manager And and salesman

"Great Purchasing Experience"
I was in the market for a used car and cars.com recommended this dealership. The whole process was good and I got a fair deal for the car I wanted. The salesperson was nice and not pushy at all. I even got a few perks. I would got back to this pleace if I am in the market for a car.
"Dialysis Tech"
I agree with lots of reviews here that this dealership is terrible. Me and my sister had several toyota cars already coz we like changing cars every 3 to 5 yrs but we were not able to get a new car here. We always try going to keyes van nuys first as this is very close to our place but we always end up buying with other place. How pathetic!
"Lanas"
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! Stay away from this dealership if you can. & be aware: bad expireance two times. Amor Ghetai( team Leader) wasnt interested in selling a car
"Great Purchase Experience"
I was out of town and hoped to find a car -- all in one day of business travel. Keyes Toyota had the model and features I wanted, and I was immediately greeted by Fred. Fred was eager and kind, and not pushy at all, but built a rapport that made me finally say after many dealerships, "ah yes, this is a dealership I would feel good about giving my business to." The process was a long one, with the expected haggling about price, but in a chummy, playful, almost jestful way (with Freds manager, Bob). Although he drove me hard, and I him, we ended up at what I both think we felt was a price that was at the edge of both of our comfort ranges. One warning: Bob started the dialogue by explaining to me their "markup" on MSRP. I have never heard of a dealer marking up on MSRP and I expected (and received) a fair price below it. I dont think paying MSRP or above is usual for a dealership, and this one is not the exception. All in all, a great dealership that does their job well and knows how to make you feel good about making a purchase. I recommend Fred to anyone interested in a new Toyota.
"A Fantastic Experience"
The team of Eric Whitman and Badie Audish was outstanding. Their knowledge and experience of finance and service put me at ease. Their manner of interaction was always solution orientated. My questions were answered in a timely manner. What they achieved was making me feel a part of the Keyes Motors family and I will always return to purchase a car from them. Enid Z
"Awesome Service, Clean And Friendly Environment"
This was the best experience weve had in California for buying a car. I have had great experiences in Vegas but never here in Los Angeles. My husband and I were so excited we were given the red carpet treatment. Coffee, cookies, donuts, fruit & water. From the salesman Kenny Krueter (sorry if we spelled last name incorrectly), his boss Fred Gonzalez and the young lady in finance. Everything was clearly explained to us. All our questions were answered and we left in a 2015 Toyota Camry fully loaded our dream car!! There were no hidden agendas they were honest and layed everything on the table. The facility was exceptionally clean including the bathrooms. They had an area for children to play so that they dont get bored and a computer station so you can logon and check your social media if you like while you wait. Now how cool is that. Thank you Keys Toyota in Van Nuys for your exceptional customer and treating us like family you guys are the best!!!!!
"Happy With My New Prius"
I just leased a new Prius and love it! The salesman who helped me was Abdu and he was excellent when working with me to find the best vehicle for me, and the finance officer (I believe his name was Harry) was very knowledgeable when answering all of my questions regarding warranties and leasing terms. The car alarm was not installed yet, but I just dropped it off the next day and they installed it right away, no problems. Thank you Keyes Toyota!
"Car Claiming To Be In Stock Is Not"
04-14-2014
I waited over 90 Minutes to see a car advertised and confirmed on the phone that they had in stock to later understand that they DID NOT have this car in stock. I was shuffled from one sales person to the next. The second guy was pretty much what you think of as shady car sales man. He started with numbers and then more numbers, and each time he was excluding factors we kept in our equations. Buy was this a reminder of why car dealers and sales man get a bad name. Star Ratings: It gives you options from Poor to the next one being Fair, then Average(Which is rather equal to Fair), then Good, then Excellent. Star rating for: Overall- 1 Cust Service-1 Buying Process-1-2 Qualtiy of Repairs- I didnt get such work done. Facilities-1 If you consider the inventory they claim vs the actual stock they have on hand. Otherwise it was clean and very nice
"Never Buy From These Guys! They Will Lie To You"
04-14-2014
This dealership and everyone in it will lie to your face, promise to deliver and then send you home with a bigger bill than you imagined. When confronted they will lie more and deny everything and you will end up having to fight them over and over for nothing. STAY AWAY!!!!
"A Very Poor And Unethical Customer Service!!!"
04-24-2014
After agreeing upon price and a particular Prius (and stock no.) with certain installed options the Internet sales manager Luis Ponce decided to offer a different vehicle without the agreed upon options. I left the dealership disappointed and wasted 2 hours of my time and gas. They lost my trust and would never deal with them!
"Disappointed"
04-14-2014
I went to the dealer expecting them to be aggresive in their pricing. I was assigned a passive salesman and they didnt seem to be very interested in selling a 2013 Camry. i left.
"Really Bad Service"
The worst experience , The service agent Mark is super RUDE and does not listen to you. Have to go back twice and my car still not good. People avoid this dealer ship.
"Big Mistake Doing Business Here"
Leased a brand new (30 miles) Camry SE and the salesperson, Daniel and the Finance Manager, Clayton Parra, were both great and made leasing a pleasant experience. HOWEVER, Keyes did not inspect the car properly so driving the car home discovered the A/C didnt work. Returned the car the next morning and picked it up the following day. The mechanic who worked on the A/C system, disconnected the cars alarm, so back to the Keyes Service the following day. We didnt get to enjoy the car until 4 days after we leased it. Couldve bought the car 3 miles from my house at Northridge Toyota. Never got an apology from Keyes management. So the cars ToyotaCare is going to be performed by Northridge Toyota. Keyes Toyota Van Nuys, nice leasing experience lousy Service.
"Repeated Emails About Buying A Car"
I contacted their online support to find out about purchasing a PART from their parts department. I was told Id get an email with details about the part purchase. Instead I got repeated emails about buying a car - and they clearly used my information from the online contact. I have been unable to get them to stop.
"Buyer Bewares!"
If you have a few thousand $ to be ripe-off, buy your Toyota from Keyes in VN. Keyes is the biggest foreign car dealer in SF Valley and advertises in local TV every day. In 2006, I bought the Avalon from V. Toyota which bit Keyes by few thousand dollars. On Dec. 2012, I bought a better Highlander+ from N.H. Toyota for few thousand dollars less than Keyes on the same day after we made the offer to Keyes which they refused to counter through sales rep. Michael B. Few days later I showed the proof of bought the new car from N.H. to the Sale manager, Mr. John Y. who asked me to bring the contract to him. He said Keyes will bit any price (by a penny?) and said if we buy another Highland+ from Keyes today, he will cut $2000. I asked him to put his empty promise in writing but he refused.
"I Came To Keyes Toyota After Many High Recommendat"
I came to Keyes Toyota after many high recommendations. The service was excellent across the board! I felt I wanted a Prius from the beginning, but wanted to check out some of the other models, like the Corolla & the Venza. After a few day trials & rentals, I decided the Prius was right for me. The fuel efficiency is 3 TIMES more efficient than the Mustang. You cannot beat that! Im the happiest customer ever. Ive drove 700 miles and spent only $50 on gas!! The General Manager is fantastic, very helpful & hands on, the sales guys I worked with were also great. I will recommend this place to everyone I know!
"The Best Service Ive Received At A Dealership"
The best service Ive received at a dealership. If you need to buy a car, you should definitely go to Keyes Toyota because they will help you find the best deals while giving you excellent customer service.
"Proud To Be Part Of The Keyes Family"
I signed up for Yelp to write a review for Keyes Toyota, and what I found on Yelp and other sites by other reviewers is shocking, and makes me wonder if the other reviewers have been to other car dealerships, because in the time Ive been buying cars, Ive been to Hamer, Ive been to Santa Monica, Ive been to North Hollywood. Yesterday, when I stopped by, was by far better than my experience at any other dealership Ive been to. It started as a phone call to Keyes on Friday, where I talked to an internet sales rep, and explained to them I was looking for a Camry, and scheduled an appointment for Monday (Labor Day) to come in and look at their options. Monday came by, I swung in and got to look at 3 different Camrys. After driving one, I had informed the sales person of my decision, I was ready to buy a fully loaded Camry.
"First Hybrid, First Import"
Been reading up on the Prius Plug-In, which I thought was strange, because Ive never owned a hybrid, and Ive never owned an import either. But the idea of the plug-in hybrid seemed like an excellent one to me. In fact, I liked the idea so much, I decided to go in to Keyes to purchase one. I called Friday, scheduled an appointment for Saturday, and am now enjoying my new Prius Plug-in.
"Gas Mileage Is King"
Ive been driving Big Cars my whole life, and when they werent big they were still gas guzzlers. With things being the way they are, I dont have the luxury of spending tons of money on gas, like I had in the past. So Ive been looking online at different cars that I could have great Mileage, and everywhere seemed to point me towards a Prius, the next step was finding one at a decent price. I checked a couple dealerships in the area, and Keyes had a used Prius listed as a special on their website, I called in saying I was interested, and about an hour later, I was in the dealership driving the car. Im now home with a new-to-me car.
"All The Great Folks At Keyes!"
I had a total on my car in April, and I needed a new at fast! The salesman I worked with wa great the Internet department was amazing helped me select a vehicle that suit me, one that I enjoyed and it was pre owned. They got me a good deal at the end, Thanks Keyes Toyota!
"Kinda Window Shopping"
Took my car to get serviced today, right before my warranty ran out. While it was in service I decided to look at different cars, I took a couple cars for a test drive, including the new Prii (priuses?) and the Avalon. I told my sales person that I was only window shopping today, and that I would probably come back soon to buy one. He seemed disappointed that I wasnt buying but he still smiled and gave me his business card. When Im ready to buy the car, I will be sure to give him and Keyes Toyota for sure.
"Good Deal, Great Service"
Brought my car in for service, because it hadnt been in about a year and a half. I was expecting the service rep to try and tack on every item they could, besides what I needed to raise the price, but she didnt. All I wanted was the basic service with and dent removal, I was rear ended a couple days before I went in for service. I grabbed a cup of coffee from the customer lounge on my way out and walked home. I came back when my service rep called me telling me my car was ready.
"Wondering How They Got Their Reputation"
So I know a couple people who swear that the Keyes Dealerships as a whole are to be avoided at all costs, but I knew a dealership couldnt possible be as bad as they say. I saw they had a special on a Prius on their website, and so I figured I would swing by and see what the deal with that car was. As I parked my car I noticed that I wasnt swarmed by 20 salesmen as I walked up, just one sales guy, John, came up, introduced himself, and shook my hand. I told him about the special I saw, and he took me to the Internet department to see if the car was still in stock. Luckily, it was, but they warned me that I should call in ahead next time to hold it, I guess the Prius are hard for them to keep a hold of. I went out to go take the Prius out for a drive, and it was actually a bit more punchy than I expected, I expected it to move like it was stuck in gelatin. I traded in my car because I figured they could do what they had to do to sell it. All in all, it was a good experience, and I wonder if people went to the wrong dealership thinking it was Keyes Toyota, because my experience was leaps and bounds better than theirs.
"There Is No Other Toyota Dealership"
I went to every place, from Hollywood to Northridge, determined to get the best deal on a Prius. I needed leather but didnt want to pay for a package 4.Every place I went to told me,you have to get a package 4 Prius to get leather, EVERYBODY. Then I went to Keyes and the salesperson, very calmly asked me,"why dont we add leather to a base prius. Just like that he saved me 5 or 6 grand. Ill never go elsewhere. They actually think about the customer. Crazy concept. Good job guys.
"First-time Car Buyer"
This is my first time buying a car by myself, the car before this was half paid for by my parents. I wanted something modest so I bought a 2 year old Avalon.
"Frs Frs Frs"
Saw the FR-S at the auto show last year, and knew that I wanted to atleast give it a test drive when it was available, given Toyota hasnt made a real sports car in a long time. So I went in to Keyes when my buddy told me that they had two come in. I took it for a spin, and it blew me away, it had to be mine, so I traded in my car, payed the difference, and Drove home with a big grin on my face
"Killed Two Birds With One Stone"
My son just got his Drivers license, and I needed to get my car serviced, so I brought my car in for service. While it was being serviced we looked at a couple used cars for my son, just something that wasnt too fast, and had good gas mileage. After trying out a couple cars (and much begging for the new FR-S) I had decided to get a 2008 Camry
"Dont Bother!"
I was given a referral to Keyes Toyota by Cars.com. The Internet Sales Representative contacted me but refused to give any quotes. Kept insisting that I bring quotes from other dealers. Why should I drive over 30 miles to do that? I do not like playing games. Thats why I chose to use Cars.com. Got much better response from two other Toyota dealers. So, I bought my brand new Toyota Corolla S from one of them. Oh well Keyes, you lost a sale! Your sales tactic was a BIG turnoff!
"I See Why Its Americas Best Selling Toyota"
So Ive been looking for a car recently, the last one was literally falling apart. I was set on a Toyota Camry, and got a GREAT deal. Everyone I personally talked to was friendly, and helped me to the fullest extent, I have to suggest this dealership to more people. While the dealership is not as new or as fancy as the new Mercedes dealership, its pretty nice, they have free coffee and apples, and I hear sometimes they have free donuts.
"That Prius V Looks Good In My Driveway :)"
05-14-2012
Well I went today and got a new Prius V, and after reading all the reviews online from other people, I wonder if they went to the same dealership as me. I had nothing but a pleasant experience with the employees. I recommend them
"Love My New Prius!"
I had an old Avalon that kept breaking down. I had the car towed to Keyes Toyota. While I was waiting, I looked at the Prius. Sam, one of the sales managers, helped me to do the math on the cost of ownership comparing the 2 cars. The Prius came out less expensive in my case. Sam didnt pressure me-he just told me to make the right decision for me. And Im so glad I did. They were really helpful to me and it was a great buying experience.
"Scam Artists!!!"
I came in looking for a corolla, i test drove a corolla LE in my price range, i drove home and was charged for a Corolla S (The Fully Loaded One!!). Also, at the end of the deal they said i had to pay an extra $500 for some security system or i could not pick up the car until the next day at about 6:30PM.
"Worst Customer Service And Good At Ripping Off "
if you want to get ripped off then head to keyes Toyota , theses guys are out their just to rip off people in the buying process and trying to convice you that they have the best deals around town i had the worst experince their of all toyota dealerships and after i got ripped off and robbered i will never buy again a car from this dealership
