Dont go anywhere else! I bought a 2017 Kia Forte Ex and they gave me the best deal around working with Maya the Internet Sales Supervisor. She matched the price of another competing dealer and they had the color of the car that I was looking for.Only two dealers had this color in all of southern California and Kia of downtown LA gave me the best deal. Mike M. did all of the leg work in helping me get my car at the dealership and he was very helpful and informative.Overall, it was a pleasant experience working with everyone there and well worth driving an hour to get to the dealership.

We bought our Optima from this dealership. Wed called three other dealerships and Tan was the only Salesman of the three that called us back. So thank you Tan! We drove quite a ways to get there on a weeknight and while we arrived only 1 1/2 hours before closing, they were still happy to see us! We all moved as quickly as possible to go through the necessary steps to test drive, get financing and decide on the final price. Joseph, Tans Manager, helped us and gave us a great deal. Jason in Finance was super efficient and professional in spite of the fact that we were there past 10:00pm. I see that the maintenance department doesnt have the greatest reviews, but as far as the Sales side of this dealership, you will be treated kindly, fairly and with respect. This experience was one of my best at DTLA Kia. In the past, my wait time and service time have been a little long, but this time it was different. Khallil really took care of me. Giovanni was careless and my new EV car was scratched ALL over, missing the charger, there was a dirty footprint on the backseat, and the engine block and charger port were disgustingly dirty. These issues were pointed out and documented at the time, and I was told theyd be taken care of quickly. However, Giovanni dropped the ball, didnt report all of the issues to service, and neglected to respond to three emails from me on this issue.

"Kia Of Dtla Is The Worst!!!"
BUYERS BEWARE!!! If you are in the market for a new car please take your business elsewhere!!!! Once the dealer gets you to sign the contract youve been taken. My husband and I purchased a 2016 Kia Optima on a trade in from this dealer and from the beginning or experience has been deplorable, unprofessional, uncooperative, rude, and unpleasant. A few days after purchase we were called back down to the dealer and told that the contract was void because the VIN number was incorrect. A few weeks later we were contacted again and told that I needed to cosign my husbands contract. Against my better judgement we re-signed the contract a second time and went on our way. Weeks later we received yet another call, this time there was another issue. The issue this time was that the car was listed on our contract as new and since wed had the car for so long it could no longer be sold as new. Outraged, we questioned how could a "reputable " dealer have made so many mistakes. We asked to speak with management and were handed off to several other reps. We were issued an apology and and offered a free tank of gas for the inconvenience. Displeased but relieved that the matter was supposedly resolved we went about our lives. In November we were supposed to renew the registration but never received a renewal notice. At the DMV we were shocked to learn that a year later the registration had never been finalized by the dealer so in essence the car license plates, registration cards, and tags were never associated with us and thus didnt exist. Naturally, we contacted the dealer and were constantly given the run around, placed on hold, hung up on or just not answered. When we went into the dealer personally, we were told that the manager was not in and that the guy who was helping us would personally resolve the matter himself. To this day the matter has not been resolved! We are paying a monthly note and insurance for a car that cannot be driven! STEER CLEAR OF KIA OF DTLA!!! Their customer service is terrible, and their business practices are even worse!

My experience with the internet dept was fairly smooth from soup to nuts. The issue is with the facility, its dirty & there furniture, tables, chairs & couches are old, cheap, have rips & many tables are wobbly! The dealerships showroom resembles that of an emergency room! Overall the place needs work & possibly new management or with current management, a facelift. Btw, this isnt a major remodeling job no not at all. A simple out with the old in with the new, maybe $20,000.00 tops

The salesmen at Kia of Downtown are very responsive and do everything they can to make a deal. The sales manager Bass Balaam will bend over backwards to meet your budgetary needs. The sales floor, however, could use a little work. KIA dealerships tend to use an "open" format where there are just chairs and tables everywhere. This makes the atmosphere very loud and hectic. They would benefit from having more a more private atmosphere.

Tom also came over and made me feel better about the lease to own option. They really do what they can to satisfy their customers needs. One of the porters there, named Cesar Jimenez, did a really good job cleaning my car as well. I love my car and would highly recommend them.
