We found out from Anna in the Service Department who we needed to speak with. She recommended Gavin and we set up the appointment for Saturday morning at 9:00 am. When we arrived, Gavin introduced himself and apologized for over-extending himself with other customers who had arrived for their appointment at the same time. Gavin went on to introduce us to Tony, the Sales Manager, who brought in Cody. Needless to say, Cody was EXCELLENT. Throughout our test drives and leasing process, Cody stayed right with us. Tony worked the numbers to bring us the best deal possible and even though we didnt get the deal we had hoped for, Tony worked out an amazing deal nonetheless. When we met with Gabriel in Finance, he walked us through the signing process seamlessly. All in all, WOW! what a great team at Thorson. I will not only recommend others to go to Thorson, but Ill go there again for my next GMC!

Two weeks ago, I just leased a 2017 Buick Regal and Tracy McCafferty in Sales was amazing. I special ordered the vehicle and got a great deal on it. The process was so painless, that I brought a friend in two weeks later. Found a truck on cars.com through this dealership. I live a few hours from this dealership in Northern CA (120 mi) but loved the truck so much that I thought I would try and make a deal on a phone. I ended up working with Mike "Junior" Grady. From the start he was so helpful and was willing to work a deal over the phone. I already had a vehicle and was way under water so I didnt think that he would be able to do much. After filling out a credit app over the phone he had me approved in just under two hours and took in my trade. I told "Junior" that I would not be able to come in until the next night because of the commute and work. After a couple hours going by I get a call from Mike saying that he would personally deliver the vehicle to me in Bakersfield (and they are in Pasadena) tonight, bring the paperwork to sign, and drive back my traded in vehicle. I was literally in shock. I have bought many cars in my lifetime and have never experienced treatment like this....all I could do was keep saying thank you. That night Mike delivered my truck (clean and on full) to my driveway...signed the papers, and took my old car...deal literally took ten minutes of my time. This was by far the best service, kindest man, and went above and beyond his job calling. I want to remind all that I was buying a used truck...it wasnt even new and he still went through all this trouble. I purchased my Buick here new, and it was the best decision I have ever made. What I love about Thorson is not only their wonderful sales staff and finance team, but the fact that they are a truly dedicated Buick dealer. Unlike pseudo-Buick dealers in the area who sell Cadillacs as their primary brand, and Buick as an afterthought product, Thorson is dedicated solely to Buick, GMC, and the people who buy them. Im not often able to use them for service because I live on the other side of the valley, but I once had an urgent service matter arise the night before I was leaving on a long trip with my car. I contacted my local Cadillac (pseudo-Buick) dealer in Sherman Oaks, who was unwilling to help at that hour, and another Cadillac (psuedo-Buick) dealer in Woodland Hills, also unable to help at that hour. I wasnt sure where to turn, so I called Thorson in a panic and they were delighted to service my vehicle, even at 4:45 PM, and with a full schedule of other customers needing service. I could not have appreciated this more. I very much wish I was able to have service performed here on a regular basis. Overall, a wonderful experience. If I had any recommendation to make, it would be nice for their facilities to be a bit more modernized and prestigious considering theyre selling a luxury brand, but nevertheless, I would still buy another new Buick from them in the future, and will service with them again if its ever convenient for me to get there from where I live.

But we had time to explore the vehicle without a hard sell. Gabriel in finance was similarly approachable, unlike many in that position, who can be completely impersonal. Its the final step in a sale and other finance officers can make you feel like youre meeting the principal. Gabriel made the experience easy and comfortable. How car buying should be.

This purchase was a no-pressure experience. My sales person was very knowledgeable and the management staff did their best to work with GM, were able to secure an additional discount, that helped to complete the sale and met most my expectations. I was able to get the vehicle in the color and with the equipment I wanted, with the exception of several items. One GM factory negative is that the interior appointments are not as rich or quality looking as my 2013 LaCrosse that I turned in.

Let me first state that Tom George runs a top notch, A+ dealership. Everyone that I dealt with was an absolute professional. I was always greeted with a happy, upbeat smile by the receptionist. Merlin was fantastic as well. However, the real star was Ash Edwards. He took the time to deal with my questions, comments and concerns and was genuinely happy when he asked me "so, do you like the car?" and I responded with "absolutely!" Tom (and Merlin) have a real asset in Ash. Ash was never pushy nor did he ever make me feel uncomfortable throughout the entire process. He was great with my kids (and my extremely pregnant wife) I will (and already have) recommend Ash Edwards and Thorson GMC to anyone I know that is considering purchasing a new car. When I chose the car that I was getting I noticed a scratch that needed to be polished. The sales person told me that after they washed it, it would be gone. We went inside to sign the papers and after we were done and the car was back we noticed that the scratch was still there. He offered to me to bring it back to have it polished. I did, and they couldnt get it out. The supervisor manager (Deborah) offered to do a Dupont treatment for the inconvenience. I said ok. When they brought it back and before I left the dealership I noticed there was now a chip on one of the doors. Deborah implied that I probably did it myself. I was furious. She mentioned that they can fix it, but I would need to bring it again. I brought it back when they told me, and they found out when I was there that they didnt have the paint for the job. Also, the person that was going to do the job saw the car and he said that it would not be fixable with just a cover up. That it will be noticeable. I was very disappointed. I left the car there because I didnt want to take it and bring it back. The car stayed a week there... The sales person (Gregg) didnt call me at the times that he told me he would. I was the one checking on the status of the vehicle. Also, he kept changing the days for me to pick up the car. This was very frustrating because of my work and life plans. It was also frustrating because the car is brand new and I hadnt used it for 3 weeks. I finally came to pick up my car and it was dirty inside... full of splashes of the polish liquid, not vacuumed inside, etc. Knowing what i went through, why not have something presentable for me to be happy. When I requested a print out of the work that they did for my records, Deborah was rude and upset for me asking for this. This is crazy because I am the customer and she should be accommodating after everything that they made me go through. In all the 3 weeks of bad service and lack of communication between all the employees at this dealership, I requested and left messages for the manager (Merlin) to talk to him and communicate my frustration. I never got a call back from him. Very disappointed. I will never ever again lease a car here or recommend anybody to this dealership.

No car available at dealership took over 1 1/2 to get a car that smelled horrible from a stupid smoker. Car was in need of repairs seats where falling apart was hard to adjust. Seat would not stay in locked position. Was not happy with it but was half way home when seat messed up. Car rental service problems not dealership. Was disappointed not getting another Buick product.
