"First Rate Experience From Beginning To End"
Let me preface this by saying that I have never had a great car buying experience. I have run into a few dealers that would not talk to me without my husband. There have been some that make you waste an entire day at the dealership hemming and hawing over prices. Collectively my life’s experience has led me to dread any car dealings in general. So when my lease was drawing to a close I was entered into the search process with a host of trepidations. I am extremely pleased to report that the staff at Hoffman Used Car Supercenter have broken that trend. From the minute the store manager, Jon Pighetti contacted me from an online inquiry to the time we walked out the door I have had an amazingly positive experience. Jon is pleasant open and honest about the cars he sells and the expectations involved in purchasing one of his vehicles. He took my requests on face value and did not try to upsell me into a car that I wasnt interested in or could not afford. He patiently answered all of my questions and was very conscientious of my time. He was never condescending to me and was very welcoming to my family when we picked up the car. He made my son a hot cocoa and my 10 year old is still reporting that he had a "great time" at the car dealership. That is something I have never heard from a kid. When I had a small complaint after the sale Jon was quick to get the car back in and even set me up with a super loaner. Ray from sales took me on two test drives and I felt that I really had the opportunity to test the vehicles in a variety of driving situations. He was also very pleasant to deal with. If every car buying experience can be this great I will never buy from anyone besides Jon and his team. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a high quality used car. P.S. I am absolutely in LOVE with my new (to me) Audi A4.

"Unexplainable Care"
I had a total loss on my vehicle on Christmas eve (talk about a gift from Santa Claus). I was okay, but my car was gone for good. I then began my nervous process of purchasing a new vehicle and started here at Hoffman Used Car Superstore. I had made an inquiry about two vehicles I was interested in to Anthony Lopez who made me an appointment the next day to come in and take a look at them. He greeted me with a smile and proceeded to navigate me through my first vehicle of interest. He explained the pros about the vehicle and answered all the questions I had about the car. I was sold by the time I came back to start the process on my vehicle. Before we proceeded, he recommended that I also look into the other vehicle to see if that one may spark my interest as well. Anthony made me feel at ease as well as a "home-like" feeling that you would get from lets saying going to your familys business to make a purchase. I didnt feel like he was trying to push every penny out of me or go over my budget or even sell me into the first vehicle I liked. He showed not only that he cared, but that he was interested in what was best for me and my family when making a new purchase. On top of all of this great customer service, I was on hold with my insurance sending in payment for my total loss and couldnt move forward in purchasing my vehicle. I was already two weeks into renting a car (with no reimbursement). Jon Pighetti offered me a loaner until the payment was sent in and at that point I knew that Hoffman Superstore did business the right way. The payment finally came in and both Jon and Anthony helped me on my way to my new car. They made the process less stressful knowing that I was out a vehicle and still making payments on a car I no longer was using until payment was sent in. Thank you Anthony and Jon for not only your great customer service, but as well as your overall care of thinking of me not only as a number/customer , but as an actual person!

As a first time car buyer I was very skeptical wherever I went to look at cars. Car salesmen unfortunately do not get the best rep so I was very particular in who I wanted to buy my first car from. Hoffman Used Superstore was the 5th shop I went to. I had done some research online of local dealerships that had the specific car I wanted and Hoffman happened to have one. I worked with both Anthony and John. Both were very enjoyable to work with. They never once pressured me to buy the car they let me take my time in deciding, no phone calls trying to convince me or anything. When I asked them to fix something they did it right away no questions asked. This dealership is unlike any other that I have been to and I left with my dream car and the feeling of relief that I had a good car on my hands. He took care of all of the paperwork in order to register the car in Rhode Island, sending a representative to get the VIN checked, and registering the vehicle. I would totally endorse this dealership for the purchase of a used car!

I cant say enough good things about my experience at Hoffman Used Car Super Store. I went there to look at a few cars I saw online. I was immediately welcomed by Jon, the GM. I found the whole experience different than anywhere I have been or heard about. I didnt feel like I was being scammed or tricked in any way. I was treated like a person not just another sale. I am a retired man and have had many encounters with new and used car dealers. I welcome the opportunity to write a review for this organization. I recently purchased a 2008 Chrysler Town & Country Van from Hoffman Auto used car lot. Being handicapped and confined to a wheelchair I passed on their offer to drive the van prior to purchase. Talk about trust. When the deal was done I drove the van home and realized that the new tires were going to be a problem. I called Hoffman Auto as soon as I arrived home to express my concerns. I was assured that they would take care of the problem. I returned the van to them and they tried to resolve the problem by realignment and balancing. When that failed they replaced the tires with a new set. These tires were the answer to my problem. There will be no hesitation on my part to refer my family and friends to visit Hoffman Auto when the are looking to purchase new or used autos. Again, what a pleasure to do business with these people.

I was shopping for my first car so I didnt fully understand the process of buying a car and after searching for cars online for multiple days, I ended up finding myself at Hoffmans H Lot to look at a 2008 Audi A4 2.0T. Andrew Almeida was the salesman I worked with and I was very pleased with the customer service he provided me. He answered every question I had about the car and shared with me all of the maintenance records and reports that he had. He actually brought me on 2 thorough test drives so I could get a feel for the car, not just a short drive around the block. I told him from the beginning that I wasnt going to make a decision that day and he still spent 3-4 hours with me going over everything and finding other cars within the Hoffmans dealership inventory that I might be interested in instead of excusing himself to help someone else who may of bought a car that day. He did not pressure me into buying the car on the spot and even tho I did not end up buying a car from H Lot, Andrew really deserves this review for the excellent service he provided. I would recommend working with Andrew to anyone who is looking to buy a car from Hoffmans H Lot, he really spends a lot of time with you and is very respectable.

Basel and Fran were very professional and helpful. Jim Berube also helped me decide among many choices. You have good team going! Few suggestions - Since this car has few exposed rust spots, I would have hoped that your body shop could have put a touch-up paint; Same thing can be said for all wheels because the paint has been peeling off and it should have been repainted specially after I had made a purchase. I did not receive two fully functioning keys - which is not right. One key is original with all functions, but the second one is just an iginition key without any remote functions. This is my second Lexus (the other one is 2007 ES350) and I come there for all my service appointments and Jim and your service staff takes good care of me.

Within an hour I had made a decision to buy the car and Paul assured me it would be ready the next day. The following day I arrived to find a detailed beauty right in front ready to go. Financing was easy and I am very satisifed with everyone at the H Lot. It was a very comfortable experience all around. A terrific group of people.

After a car accident 4 weeks ago I was not looking forward to the car buying experience but I have to say that the staff at H Lot made it simply smooth. I had visited 2 weeks prior to see a different car and met with Basel, but nothing stood out that day. Then I saw MY car online and when I walked into the dealership my mind was made up. Basel, once again met with me and showed me every safety and luxury feature on the vehicle... I was sold! I appreciated the patience and courteous demenor Basel had; he was not pushy but he was informative and what he did not know he made an effort to find out. Fran was very helpful in putting the numbers together and making the deal work in every aspect. Anthony was also helpful and pleasant when he filled in for Basel. So, reviews are about the good the bad and the ugly; therefore, I have to tell you that the day I went to pick up my car, it was not up to my standards of being detailed (what they had promised) I voiced my concerns and without a thought Fran was going to take care of it. My car was ready the next day and since I could not go pick it up, Basel delivered it to my job. Needless to say, it was meticulously detailed. A week later with my car and I could not be happier. Best experience Traded in my car for a Nissan rouge and the two sales men Andrew and Beisel (sorry if I am spelling names wrong) they were excellent. Any questions or concerns I had were addressed. I went into the dealership on a time constraint and limits on what I wanted my payments to be and all of them were met with the exact car I wanted. Dealership is highly recommended. Thanks again.

I was searching for an 03/04 Mustang GT or Mach 1. Not an easy car to find in completely stock form that has not been beat on. Searching thru Cars.com I came across an 04 Mustang GT Convertable in what looked like near perfect stock condition at Hoffman. Gave them a call asked some questions as to the condition of the car and setup a time to go and look. This was not a short drive from my house so I was either going to come home dissapointed or come home driving a beautiful Mustang GT Convertable. I was pleased to find that the car was as perfect as the pictures made it look and completely stock. Did some negotiating and was pleased enough to make the purchase. The finance person Fran went out of his way to get us the best possible financing. Not easy when buying a 9 year old car. Overall nice people to deal with. Thanks

I brought my son to this dealership to look for a quality used vehicle, but found nothing that we liked. Most of the cars we saw were either crappy (had dents, scratches, etc.) or just plain filthy, not to mention overpriced Also learned from others that sales people from this dealership were not too friendly and wouldnt even fix safety problems? We definitely wont recommend this dealership to any of our friends! Buy at your own risk!!!

Hoffman is a great dealership. I bought a 2006 Acura RSX from the Hoffman H Lot which is where they put most of the used cars. I was very pleased with the price and the service, especially the service I got through Fran and Paul there. I had to cancel my first meeting to see the car, but they were very understanding and flexible on a new appointment. I got there and they had the car parked right outside of the front door, ready for my harsh inspection. After some respectful negotiation we worked out a price that was definitely a deal for me. Im very happy with them, and I really dont see how anybody could have had a negative impression there. They were very polite and got me approved for financing even though I have a short credit history. I HIGHLY recommend this dealership. Thank you Paul and Fran, the car is immaculate!

in the market for a pre own porsche 911, so i stoped by the dealer to check out a pre owned car, i walked around the parking lot where the cars were parked and notice a sales man with another customer and he did not even acknowlege my presence. i also went inside the show room to ask a few questions where i did got an answer ,however i did not have a good welcome, very snubby maybe i didnt look like the wall street type or something else(the obvious) i hope this is not the norm at this dealership , especially when you are spending the kind of money a porsche cost. hope the owners read the reviews i baught a nice one on ebay where they couldnt pre judge me.
