"Typical Small Used Car Dealership"

I went to look at an 05 Mazda3 SP23 hatchback, but was terribly disappointed by the condition of the car and the information provided to me. The vehicle had some issues: Pretty significant scratches that didnt show in the photos were on both bumpers; it needed an oil change; it was out of windshield washer fluid; it had a rattle when started; it was buried deep in the lot, despite my calling beforehand to see if I could come take a look and maybe a test drive; it had a terrible cheap tint installed; The leather seats were cracking; there was no rear cargo tray cover; The vehicle was pretty dirty inside, with lots of what looked like dog hair; the navigation system had no disc; the spare tire had been used; there was a decidedly bullet-like rusty hole in one of the window frames. Each issue was dismissed by the representative as unimportant and trivial; after all, "it was a used car, right?" Yes, but reputable used car places generally clean up their vehicles. Lastly, and what really put me off the vehicle, was when the dealer provided a "CarFax." Despite having a "CarFax 1-owner" sticker on the windshield, the report he provided was something from the internet that I had NEVER heard of. I know my It showed the vehicle having 55k miles in May of 2013. When I looked at the car in August of 2014, the car had 110k miles on it. Hmm. Before I visited the dealer, I was really excited about the car. Now that I visited, I wouldnt take the car at half of the price listed. I wont be coming back.
