I came in with my wife before the Labor day weekend rush. I was interested in a Encore I saw online. I was greeted by John Morgan and he lead me to my salesperson. He made sure that I was taken care of and got the deal I was looking for on the Encore. The staff was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I needed this car for my daughter, before she went off for college. This by far was the easiest vehicle purchase I have ever done. Came in the week before Labor Day and picked up a new Encore. It was advertised with a super low lease payment. It seemed too good to be true. The price was correct and now Im enjoying my Encore. Definitely was an easy buying experience. My salesman Rocky was patient and super informative. The dealership is one of the last family owned dealerships in Southern California.

bought a pre-owned certified Buick Verano. I live in San Diego and put 4000 miles on the vehicle in about 9 months. I brought it into a GM dealer in San Diego and was told the rotors were so bad they needed to be replaced. They were in such bad shape they couldnt even be re-surfaced though the brake pads were exactly the same measurement when I bought the vehicle. I am 42 yo and have never burned a rotor, let alone in 4000 miles. I called Hardin to give them an opportunity to help and both the sales manager and service manager told me that it was too bad, my fault and were rude. The culture of GMs customer service is something out of a 1970s car lot and no wonder why they are in trouble and cant get a younger buyer base. It has nothing to do with the product and everything with their culture. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE TO PURCHASE A VEHICLE and think twice before you buy GM.

gear led light dont work, asked service rep to check if it was recalled limited recall up to 2011 had this problem since 2010. had mention it to previous service reps but they never checked for recall. Sad it was never checked. Otherwise very happy with my 2004 Sierra truck.

"Engine Repair And Related Support Services"
I bought a 2012 GMC Yukon XL Denali from Hardin. It has about 56K on it and I had an engine failure. I called Hardin and Rick Callas (Service) arranged trailering of the vehicle about 40 miles from my hometown to Hardin. Rick and the master mechanic immediately checked the car as I had brought it in a few days earlier for oil change and transmission flush which was done quickly and efficiently. They reported all fluids A-OK but test drove the truck and stated that they noted the reported noise and loss of power on acceleration. They stated that it seemed to be a valve spring and lifter. After confirming mileage, I was advised that any such repair would be covered under warranty. I left the vehicle on a Wednesday. I was immediately provided with a GMC Sierra pick up to drive as a loaner in less that 30 minutes from my arrival at the dealership. Definitive diagnosis of the engine failure was provided on a Monday, the engine was rebuilt by Thursday and some other paintless minor dent repair was done also at my request while the vehicle was in for repair. I was able to pick up my vehicle on Friday. Rick was disappointed with the full quality of the dent repair so he gave me three free oil change tickets for Hardin services to compensate for that. He was fantastic with respect to service in every way. His co-workers in the service department were also excellent in taking messages and referring the information to Rick when I was not able to call him or take his call. I have had several previous GMC Denali vehicles purchased and serviced at other dealerships and none has come close to matching Hardin in every respect for sales, service responsiveness and technical expertise. They are great.

The only issue I had was related to a discount that was not received. I had a coupon for a $39.95 oil change and tire rotation which I had forgotten at home. I asked about it and was told I would receive it anyway by the person checking me in. But when I went to pay the bill, i was charged the regular $49.95. Not a deal breaker, but a disappointment.
