"Gmc Acadia - 2017"
We just purchased a 2017 GMC Acadia with the help from Nick Maloon (Sales Consultant). We were very pleased with his extensive knowledge on all vehicles that we test drove. He is very professional and accommodating! He is a definite "go to" person at GMC Central. He follows up and maintains communication throughout the car buying process! We are so happy that Nick was there for us!

Not happy how this dealership worked with me on my trade-in. Dan told me the methodology he would use and my trade would be in that range...assuming the condition of my vehicle was described correctly. After getting me to the dealership he told me he uses another methodology that includes running my specific VIN (only on a different system than what he recommended over the phone). It’s fine if he uses a different system to determine a trade-in value, but he should have told me that before I spent 45 minutes driving to his dealership. There was no dispute on condition of the vehicle...so Dan could have easily given me the correct range over the phone. After leaving Brian calls me to tell me they werent making anything on the vehicle...ya right. He also tells me he listened to the call recording where Dan mentioned needing to see the vehicle. Its fine that he needed to see it to determine the condition...but we both agreed on the condition. If they had just been more clear before I committed to visit the dealership, they would have made a sale and I would be driving a new truck and sitting here writing a 5 star review. I felt like this was just another typical dealership that wants to make a few extra thousand while youre stuck sitting there...but maybe it was just that Dan was busy and rushed during our conversation and didnt take the time to give me an accurate trade-in price based on my description.

My wife and I just bought a new 2017 Buick Enclave from Central. Worked with Nick Maloon (sales) and Brian Hayes (business manager). Was one of the easiest and most straight forward car buying experiences we have ever had. No games, no tactics, we just checked out the inventory, negotiated a fair price, received a fair-to-generous offer on a high mileage trade-in, and came back to take delivery of the new vehicle at a predetermined time. The process could not have been more direct and efficient. Honestly, I would consider a Buick/GMC for our next car just to be able to replicate such a professional and simple process. Obviously, we have not had service there yet but we have no reason to look any further for maintaining our new Buick!

I just leased a 2016 Encore at Central Buick over Presidents Day Weekend. First, Kirsten Wilson (internet sales) was extremely pleasant, informative and responsive. After completing an online inquiry form, she called me almost immediately, answered all my questions over the phone and set up an appointment for me at Central the next day. At the dealership, Kirsten introduced me to Cristiano Oliveira, the gentlemen who assisted me with the Encore lease. He was fabulous to work with! Cristiano not only took me for the test drive, but completely reviewed all the Encores functionality, helped me set up my OnStar account, as well as Remote Link on my phone and explained how to transfer my EZ Pass. This was especially helpful because I am not a very technologically savvy end user. Cristianos knowledge of the Encore, his ability to provide me with the features I wanted at the monthly price I needed, and most especially ... his patience with me and my lack of technological knowledge, made my entire experience at Central Buick thoroughly satisfying. Went looking for a new car in June and after spending 3 worthless hours at another Buick dealership, I went back to Central. They were helpful, got me into the car I wanted for the price I wanted to pay. There was some confusion in completing the registration paperwork which I found to be odd and was finally sorted out 2 weeks later, therefore 3 stars for the buying process.

The majority of simple service jobs like oil changes were fine. However, they were either dishonest and/or couldnt correctly diagnose a couple of major issues. We started having various issues with our 2010 Enclave after a couple of years. It was frequently taking longer than normal to start. Sometimes all the interior lights would dim and then completely go out for a split second or so before finally starting. It also sounded like it was struggling to turn over. The service adviser claimed that was the normal start-up sequence which I knew wasnt right. They checked it approximately 2-3 times over a year and couldnt find anything wrong with it. One weekday afternoon I got a call from my wife saying the car wouldnt start at all - she was stuck in a parking lot. She had just dropped off one of our young kids and needed to bring our other child to an appointment immediately I had to leave work and deal with getting the car towed to Central. The next day they finally determined the starter was the issue and needed to be replaced. We also had issues with the entertainment system. Normally when you play a DVD, the audio would automatically switch over from the radio to the movie. After a couple of years, it would play both the radio and the DVD audio (at a very low level) at the same time. Central couldnt replicate the problem on at least two different occasions. Prior to the bumper to bumper warranty expiring, I asked them to check it again. Once again I was told they couldnt find a problem but would document it in case it continued to act up. The problem continued and about six months later, they finally replicated the issue. However, they told me that I would have to pay for a new DVD system as the warranty expired. I made numerous phone calls (including to Buick) but they refused to replace it even though the problem was well documented.

"Great Experience"
I had a very good experience with this dealership: everything was seamless and I was in and out in no time with exactly what I wanted. I did not feel any sales pressure which was a huge relief although I think part of that had to do with my sales consultant being new to the car sales business. Honestly- it was a breath of fresh air knowing that we could talk on a real level and not have any strain of annoyance for sales pressure. I had been to other dealerships in my process of looking around and Central Buick in Norwood was where I felt the most comfortable.
