He was able to get me a phenomonal deal on an Altima that i couldnt refuse. i terminated my lease early with chevy and it was a great choice. The management staff was extremely professional Eddie Steve and Gary handled everyrhing with chevy for me which took a huge headache off my back. This is the third Rogue we have leased from Nissan of Hawthorne. They have consistently served our auto needs each time our lease expired. Due to some family health issues, it was difficult to get to the dealership office so we worked out all the details with Christina Anello and our salesman, Gary Thompson via e-mail and phone. I would advise anyone who is looking to purchase a Nissan to go anywhere but here. I went to pick up my company vehicle along with 2 others. Hawthorne Nissan was the designated dealer to deliver the auto. When we arrived the cars were not prepped and the sales manager Eddie was really obnoxious and has no idea what customer service is about. STAY AWAY

Came in to purchase a car about a month ago. It was a great experience. The Salesman, Mr. Louis Martinez was very personable and knowledgeable. Test drove some cars, and although my credit was not good, the finance dept was able to get me financing, and they worked hard to get me the lowest interest rate possible. They had two separate Rogues on cars.com. Day 1. I called first. After a rude receptionist answered I got voicemail for Christina. Left message. At 8 PM sent an email. Day 2. Waited till 1. Called again. Second time I was able to get to voicemail without being disconnected. Left voicemail. At 8 PM. Called for third time. Got a different voicemail from a man I think Mike. Left message. Day 3. No call or email. Day 4. No call or email. Day5..... Never any contact after 4 attempts. Really?

Unfortunately I received a very unprofessional standard service at your dealership. The least one can expect on a dealership visit is a Test drive of the vehicle the customer is interested in. The sales guy was not interested in even offering me a test drive. I reached the dealership at about 5.30 pm. If this constitutes a late hour according to your working hours for providing sales services, then I am wondering why I was informed that the closing time is 6 pm. I was expecting the sales guy, after my telling him "I am willing to increase my budget if I like what I drive", to offer me a test drive of both the Altima as well as the Maxima and maybe even show me the best Nissan as I would have been ready to buy it.
"Absolute Worse Dealership"
Nissan offered to pay the remaining balance on my lease if I purchased another vehicle from this dealerhip. I was happy with my first car so I thought sure, Im in need of a different vehicle since my lease will end this year. Turns out theyre not quick on making payments on what was offered. I purchased my new car in April and they have yet to pay the remainder balance on my the lease to the point where now IM the one being contact by debt collectors. Ive tried for 3 weeks now to get someone on the phone with me and Im told that the person is not in the building but will call me back or that "theyre looking into it". I went in person to the sales office because I got tired of waiting around and after speaking to the sales person and finance manager who acted like he had nothing to do with it and was too preoccupied to help, they sent me on my way with an "well call you back at 5" with an update. No surprise here that I didnt get a call back and that general manager wasnt in the store when I went yet again. This place is worse. Im a pleasant person to deal with but there are no words for the lack of professionalism, tact and honesty.

I bought my car from this dealer in March and I negotiated PMA with the deal. When I got home I discovered that they gave me the basic PMA which was nothing. I texted the sales rep that I want a better PMA which he agreed to it as long as I give them 10 in all in Nissan Survey. I agreed. The sales rep texted me so many times to finish the survey and I kept saying I wont do it until you give me the up graded PMA. To make the story short I went to the dealer and while the sales rep giving himself 10s in the survey while I am talking with their Finance manager and getting my PMA. When I went to check something on my new car I discovered that my PMA is worth nothing since Nissan head quarter didnt have it. I reached out to the sales rep who asked me a couple of questions then I never heard back from him. I reached out to Nissan customer service and they are still trying to correct this issue. This has been going on for over two weeks. This is the most unprofessional dealer I have ever worked with! Be careful when you deal with them!

Excellent service. I usually dread car dealerships especially the games they play. I was pleasantly surprised at the purchase of my 2014 Maxima. They were straight forward no games!!!! My sales person Michael was so professional & accommodating he was the best!! The finance lady Nancy was great. I actually bought a tire package and I never purchase anything extra. After calling and emailing me everyday for two weeks (sometimes 2 or 3 calls in row, until I would pick up) I agreed to go to this dealership to lease a car based on an email offer. The offer when we arrived at the dealership was NO WHERE near the email offer! My final point that made me and my daughter most frustrated with this dealership is that while we were waiting for the great offer from the manager our sales rep went into the managers office, closed the blinds, came back to his office to get paper plates, and then proceeded to eat his dinner that was just delivered with everyone on the staff while we waited. 100% UNPROFESSIONAL!

So I called to confirm a car was still available and they said yes so I drove an hour and it was sold so mistakes happen but when I complained about wasting my time when I called the sales person became rude told me to leave his office when I asked who his manager was he told me to go find out for myself . Then when I told him he was rude and didnt know how to be treat people he and the manager told me he is the nicest guy there so thats not good if hes the nicest there, manager couldnt be bothered, so I called my friends and family in the area and asked them not to deal with this dealership, the only good thing I could say was that the dealership was clean and that they will loose 4 customers who lease from that dealership

I emailed this dealership regarding their online add, asking if they could do listed price out the door with taxes, tags, and any fees. I promptly received a call back from a Christina who said her manager said he could work with us. I explained I was traveling from Delaware and was already approved through my credit union, please dont make me take the 3 hr trip if it could not be done. She said come. My husband and I took half a day off from our jobs to take the trip. When we got there not only was there a 3000 difference in mileage but they said we didnt qualify for the Internet pricing, because we hadnt bought a vehicle from them within the past year, graduated from college within last year or was in the military. And added $2500.00 to Internet price. Wasted trip.Money, time, and respect for Nissan. If you want an honest price for a nice vehicle, go somewhere else.

He was very honest and straight forward. The managers Lou and Joe gave me a great price that I was very happy with. The finance manager Nancy got me a great interest rate from the bank. Read some horrible reviews online about this dealership but decided to take a chance anyway. Sales person Stevan Jakovljevic was an absolute shock. EXCELLENT cust serv. Worked with me and allowed me to get into a car that was within my budget and with better options than I expected. Took his time, walked the lot, went on test drives WITH me, this kid even got me bagels and coffee and literally walked me through every single aspect of the purchase. Cant stress enough that he gets 6 out of 5 stars. Finance manager Dragan had bad reviews so I didnt think Id get 2 for 2, but again I was incredibly amazed at his honesty and how frank and to the point he is. I quickly came to conclusion that people might of given bad reviews because he is so direct and honest, I personally welcome that. He also, just like Steve, walked me through everything with open books and worked the deal to where, AGAIN, I was getting something better than what I expected. Its been a month and these people are still calling me to make sure everything is fine. Both guys, hats off!

Spoke to saleperson over the phone and was assured that the vehicle i was looking for was in stock. We spoke 3 times over the phone. Before I left to go purchase the car, I made one last call so Ido not waste my time. I was assured that that car was in the lot. Well 20 minutes later, guess what, its gone. The saleman actually had the nerve to say they are quite busy. I responded by saying, look around the dealer is empty. Of course they said they have others that I "May" like. After reading this board, I am convinced that this dealer is NOT trustworthy and could care less about the customer. Will never step foot in this dealer or even think about a Nissan.

OMG this is the WORST dealership I have ever seen. DO NOT FALL for the gimmicks. They do false advertising. After you agree on the final price for the car they tag on extra couple of $$$$ and you have to take the additional warranty etc. The manager "JOE" is completely unprofessional. He is very disrespectful. If he treats his customers like that I wander how he treats his sales team. I feel sorry for those who have to work with him. After our great ordeal when we asked him for his business card he is like "I DONT HAVE ONE", so we asked to speak to the general manager he is like there is not one here. The credit manager & "JOE" who knows what his title is really need to learn how to talk to people. I AM VERY THANKFUL I did not end up purchasing the car. We were going to end up buying 3 cars but oh well.... I would give this place a negative star, if I had a choice. FINALLY STAY AWAY from this dealership!!!!!!!

Stopped in to see a used car I spotted online. I tried to make an appointment but had an incorrect # on the listing. Without an appointment, I was helped in less than 5 minutes by Adolfo (very helpful), after I met the receptionist. Granted, it was a Friday afternoon, but still a pleasant surprise. Was offered a test drive, with no strings attached, and will stop down in a few days to test drive another car from their other dealership, which they offered to bring to Hawthorne. All this took about 30 minutes. I do appreciate not feeling that my time was wasted.

the staff at this dealership are very unprofessional and rude. we had to wait hours to get assistance. finally when we were help they were not able to find the had me waiting another 2 hours and then told me to go back the next day that. we went the next day with and appt. and still had to wait few hours to get service. then when they finally came to assist us they still havent found the vehicle and they were forcing me into a different vehicle that i wasnt interested in. then we walked away and they were telling us to take our business somewhere else. i found this a waste of time and horrible service !!!! i would not recommend anyone to even enter this dealership they should go out of business !!!!~!!!

I negotiated a price on a used car, the salesman agreed to fix an electrical issue with the car. I get a call a few days later stating sorry, we can’t repair the vehicle. I later discovered they re-listed the car on their website at a higher price. A month later I found a $1,000 charge on my credit card for the initial down payment. I contacted them to resolve the matter, and they claim I tried to back out of the deal, and didnt refund my money. The account is now in dispute. Worst experience I have ever had with a car dealer.

I bought my vehicle 3 weeks ago & I have had to take my car in to the service 3 times already. They still have not fixed the main issues with my vehicle & the manager JOE, told the service department NOT to work on my car. He got into an argument with me, on the sales floor, with MY 6YR OLD SON PRESENT, and wouldnt even let me voice my concerns to him. They have yet to detail my car, put the gas (like they promised), or even washed the exterior (the $498 charge they make you AGREE TO & SIGN FOR). JOE is extremely rude & is nothing but a scam artist. I have contacted the BBB about this issue & they told me that they have SEVERAL OPEN COMPLAINTS from customers of this dealership. BUYER BEWARE! TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE OR YOU WILL BE HIRING AN ATTORNEY TO HANDLE ALL OF YOUR ISSES WITH YOUR CAR LIKE I AM!

This was, bar far, the worst experience I have EVER. EVER had. I have purchased new cars for the past 40 years. I have never had an experience like this. From beginning to end. And its not over. My intention is to go from this forum to the Better Business Bureau to file a complaint there. We first went to the dealership at the end of January to purchase a Nissan Rogue. Because my son had just been in a horrible car accident which resulted in his eye having to be removed just a few weeks prior, we needed to purchase a car with the new bind spot assist feature, only available in the 2014 models. When I spoke to a woman on the phone before going to the dealership, she assured me that she had a Rogue in stock with that feature. I asked her several times, as I had called several other dealerships and all had told me that it was a "hot" car, and no dealership had any currently. But this dealership assured me that they did. We made an appointment to meet with this woman and ran over the next night to see the car. Upon arrival, we were told that she was "just" an Internet person and we were handed off to Sean. Sean did not have the car with the feature at the showroom and would have to get it for us. We were annoyed but said we would return, even though my son had to travel from Brooklyn and was still recovering from his surgery. We returned the following Saturday to find that Sean had a car for us to test drive, However, it DID NOT have the one feature that we actually NEEDED to see! The blind spot monitor! We test drove the car, but could not see and use the actual feature we needed the most. My son and fiancee liked the car and we agreed to purchase it, pending Sean getting one with side assist for us to see. We returned the following Saturday and he finally had a car for us to see. As we negotiated the purchase price, it became evident that we knew more about the car than Sean did. He told us that, for instance, a cargo cover was not available for this particular model, when, in fact, it was. He knew NOTHING about this car, but was certainly anxious to take our money. Once deposited, he told us to return the next Saturday for delivery. When we returned the next week, the all-weather mats were not in the car as promised, Sean handed us the keys, never explained ANYTHING to us about the car (thankfully my son and his fiancee are tech savvy and could figure things out for themselves), handed us the keys and sent us on our way. Done. In the next week, the person at our bank called to try to get paperwork from the dealership so that we could get a finance loan from our bank (we paid CASH for the car but they knew we were going to finance privately through our bank since their rates were almost 3% higher than our banks). For the loan we were put in touch with 1) Paul Carter (finance) then 2) Joe Yobbi (general manager) then 3) Dragon (yes, Dragon, the sales manager). My banker made over 10 calls to the dealership, and each time was told that each of these 3 people were busy doing various things and would call him back. Not one return phone call. In a 3 week period, I called the dealership no less than 30 times, AND EACH TIME was told by the gatekeeper Amanda, that Joe and Dragon were "in meetings", "off today", "with a customer", on and on. Then I said I was going to call Corporate. Amazingly enough, Dragon called me that evening. Profusely apologetic with all kinds of excuses, he promised me an iPad (??????? - they had some left over from a promotion) and a cargo cover at no charge. I have still not received either. And no more calls. Dragon finally sent paperwork to my bank, only AFTER we had to AGAIN return to the dealership because Sean "forgot" (didnt know) there were other papers we needed to sign. My son had to get out bed (he had gotten an infection from the surgery) to travel BACK to the dealership from Brooklyn.This dealership lacks professionalism, compassion, concern for their customers and courtesy.

It will be 2 weeks that this dealership has not refunded a hold amount applied to my credit card. I was asked to issue a deposit to show the manager I was serious in buying a vehicle at the haggled price. It was a Saturday and they would not be able to show me a particular vehicle until the following week because they did not have it on site and it was 5:00 already. At the time I did not even question why $500.00 needed to be applied just to look over a car- shame on me now. The manager I dealt with at the time issued me a receipt and advised it was refundable and signed and wrote REFUNDABLE on the paperwork. I spoke with the manager the following week and he reassured me he would advise the woman handling refunds would take care of it and would contact me to confirm such the following morning. That is the last contact I have had. I have left no less than 6-7 messages that even the receptionist knows the circumstances. Last week we finally reached the manager via phone at which he pretended he knew nothing about it. He inquired where we were calling from because he checked his caller id and saw the call was coming in from a different dealership. This is totally irrelevant in regards to my refund. He then got smart and harassing on the phone and hung up. A minute and a half later, he contacted my fiance on his own private cell phone and began harassing him again and stated he was not going to refund me. So upon professional advise given to me, I have submitted my complaint to agenies to intervene. This is consumer abuse and harassment. Today, we were notified that not only are they keeping my $500.00 unless I remove my comments from Cars.com. Well firstly, I did not post my complaint on this website until right this moment (after the threat)., You do not contact a consumer and threaten them that if they do not remove their comments, your deposit will NOT be refunded! I have searched your dealership and I am only one of MANY who are disappointed in your business tactics. Therefore, this afternoon I have remitted all my current documentation to local agencies and have contacted my credit card company. It has been an aweful experience with much wasted time and unprofessional handling. Your dealership only responds to positive feedback but chooses to ignore unsatisfied customers

Joe Yobbi worked with me and gave me an outstanding warranty and made financing my vehicle as easy as possible. Everyone was very easy to talk too and very helpful with what i needed. Nissan of Hawthorne is a deceitful dealership. They have the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. The first day I went to buy my car I waiting 4 hours to be helped. Even though my paperwork was not done, I was told I "could just take the car for the weekend and come back to sign papers on Monday". This did NOT sit well with me and I refused to do so. I came back Monday to sign my papers and pick up my car. I waited 2 hours for them to bring my car out. When they did, I noticed a dent in the back bumper. This is 2014 Altima that I had just purchased. I wanted it fixed immediately but they told me the auto body shop was too busy and that I could bring it back another day to have it fixed. They also told me they would get my NY plates and overnight them to me. 2 days before my plates were about to expire I called them over and over about the status of my plates. They told me the DMV of NY had "shut down" for a week and they couldnt get them. Naturally I was (and am) furious. The manager had a rental dropped off to me and they took my car in last Thursday. Yesterday, after I called 3 times. I finally spoke with the manager who told me my car was done, the plates were on and that they could either drive it to me in the snow or wait until today (Wed). I chose to wait given the storm we got. I just received a call from another "manager" stating that my plates are not yet ready because the DMV closed early yesterday due to the storm. I cannot believe this. I purchased this car on December 30th. I drove around with a dent in my brand new car and now I havent had it for almost a week. These people are corrupt and this dealership needs to be investigated. I have already entered a claim with consumer affairs and plan on seeking legal action against them.

When I arrived I was greeted kindly by the girl at the front desk and then met with the Sales Manager TJ. He then set me up with a Salesperson who helped me with my new purchase. Everything went as planned. From the minute I called in to me leaving with my brand new car it was the best experience I have ever had at a dealership.
