Service light was on when starting car and a noise like a belt was defective.. I was told it could be vanos part but they felt it was an oil leak and a transmission leak. Also told tires were wearing unevenly and struts had play in them.. Bmw of Oyster bay had car for 3 days. After spending almost $2000.oo engine light is still on when starting?? Wow, I am amazed and doubtful that these so called leaks had any thing at all to do with the service light. Bmw is picking my car up on Thursday to hopefully resolve problem.

I bought my 2012 BMW from a private party in Rhode Island, bringing it to my home on Long Island. I visited another BMW dealer (from whom I had bought a new car about a decade ago) and requested a service appointment. That dealership, which is a little closer to my home, said that inasmuch as I did not buy from them, they would not service my car. That is their policy, as incredible as it sounds. So I found BMW of Oyster Bay. My service advisor was Anthony Sofield who was both very amiable and helpful. The car was serviced and an annoying rattle eliminated. I left BMW of Oyster Bay completely satisfied and will now be a steady customer.

I had a 2013 528ix with 6 months left on my lease so I started looking at lease deals to see if I could lower my payment. I recieved an email deal from Oyster Bay BMW that I thought was too good to be true, but I decided to call their bluff. When I called they said that the deal was as stated and I made an appointment to go in. I went in and saw the car that was in the advertisement and discussed the details of the deal. Again, the deal was unbelievable so I was waiting for the bait and switch but it never came. My salesperson Barry was greaT and answered every question that I had. We made the deal and I signed the paperwork, all the while waiting for the dealer to hit me with the hidden fee that would have me walk away, butt never came. I signed all my paperwork 2 days later and drove away with my brand new BMW. Overall this was a great experience with absolutely no bait and switch. The dealership was straight forward, honest and gave me a great deal. The dealership is immaculate and everyone is friendly and helpful. I have found my new dealership!

As we began our search for a new car, we went to several different dealerships and (brands) of cars, not really sure of what kind of car we would get and where we would get it. w. After almost one week of doing this we found the experience discouraging and almost painful. In most of our experience car salesmen deserve the negative reputation they usually get. I have purchased new cars from many different dealers and different brands. This was my first experience dealing with a BMW dealership. The sales process was very low key and low pressure. I walked in just trying to get a feel for what inventory was available for a 1-year-old BMW 3 series and walked out with a car. The salesperson was friendly, did not rush me along, showed what he had in inventory and wound up with a sale. I do not like dealing with the finance manager in any dealership because they always try hard to sell you add on. Here the finance manager explained what was available and did not push anything. It made the buying process much more enjoyable. I recently had to bring my car in for a recall notice. This process was also low pressure. Usually the person writing up the order is trying to sell all kinds of services. Here that was not the case. My car was ready long before the scheduled return time. I would recommend BMW of Oyster Bay
