Arthur and Lou were a pleasure to deal with. After having visited numerous used car dealers in my Land Rover search, they were the first ones that made me feel comfortable and didnt leave me with feelings of unease and uncertainty. They were extremely well versed having sold this brand of car for decades and know the line well. I decided after a visit and test drive and several phone chats, that if I was not to buy the very Land Rover that i test drove ( I did ultimately ) that I would work exclusively through them in my LR3 and LR4 search. Well everything worked out fine and they aligned me with a finance option that best suited my needs. The rest is history as they say. I highly recommend this team. I feel like they actually had my best interests at heart. That, I think is quite rare in the underworld of sketchy used car dealers and there are so many out there. They are a rare breed.

I purchased 2004 Land Rover Discovery from Marquis Motor cars with 70,000 miles in September of 2012. I was told the tires were "new". I did not know that tires are stamped with a manufacture date. The tires sold to me on the car were manufactured in the 44th week of 2007. The tires were five years old at the time of purchase. I drove the vehicle 10,000 miles per year and in the fall of 2015 the tires did not past inspection due to dry rot. Replacing the tires was an unexpected added cost as I only had 30,000 miles on the tires. Unused is not "New". Check tire manufacture dates when purchasing a vehicle from Marquis motorcars and make informed decisions.

"Have The Car Checked Out Before Purchasing"

My wife and I recently purchased a Land Rover Discovery from Marquis. They presented themselves as one of the premier Rover specialists in the country. We paid the full asking price for the car as it appeared to be in very good condition and we trusted Arthur and Luigi. Within 1 week of taking the car home, we found the shaft on keys would literally break off in the ignition, the rear suspension had a leak, and the instrument panel was loose. We then took the car to Rover Special Vechicles in RI and found that there were many other concerns with the car. Arthur and Luigi had said they put the car through a rigorous 200 point inspection, but it was clear that this was either not done, or was done poorly. We are now looking at spending thousands of $s to get the car in proper working condition and when we approached Marquis with these issues, they refused to take any responsibility. If you are considering purchasing from Marquis, I highly recommend you have a certified Rover specialist take a good look at the car first.

These guys are pros! I purchased a used 2007 LR3 from them a few years ago. The car has been a dream and the owners really understand the history of these vehicles. Over the past few year I have had two minor wear and tear repairs. This last repair was for the electric emergency brake. They fixed it with no surprises and completed it when they said they would. This is the 3rd car we have purchased from them. And well buy our next!

At age 56 Ive bought many cars both new and used .I recently purchased a 2004 LR Discovery for my son .I paid a fair price for a car that was in exceptional condition ,and it was delivered to me with a full 200 point mechanical check up ,new tires and new mats . Of course ,two days later a service light went on ,Arthur and Lui (the owners) never blinked ,came right out got the car ,replaced the thermostat sensor and delivered the car back to me within 24 hours ,no questions asked .As a precaution , I took the car into a LR dealer and had them perform a pre purchase check ...after the purchase ,and they confirmed everything was as the Arthur and Lui said . "It Was A Mistake Buying My Car From Maquis Motors"

They tell you about the car before you buy, what they have done to it and what they are going to do to it before delivery, you will find out that they do nothing. I am just too far away to take the car back to them for simple things like checking the fluid levels. they were low. I think they are dishornest and you cant believe anything that they tell you.

Hi very quality dealer very accommodating and honest no haggle experience. Authur was very nice to deal with we bought a beautiful 2011Toyota Rav4 pearl white fully loaded. We paid a very good price for the vehicle and he was very good to us thru all the processes. We took the vehicle on a fri nite that same nite we were driving it after being out that nite in the pouring rain and all of a sudden the check engine light came on and a few others I left him a message what had happened 1st thing the next morning my wife and I received calls from Arthur asking what happened that same day my wife brought the vehicle back Aurthurs brother head of service there scanned it for my wife told her what the problem was and asked her to comeback the next day so he could get the part and put it in. She went back the next day it was fixed in about a 1/2 hr the light was turned off and it was fixed. VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER! we would definitely recommend them to our friends!

I purchased a BMW 540i from MarquisMCars. They lied about the condition of the vehicle to me and misrepresented the overall condition by a long shot. But the most aggravating issue was the fact that It didnt have the options and items I specifically asked for. So there was no mis-understanding nor mis-interpetation of information, just simple lying. Please dont take their word for any of the condition or options. Dont make the mistake I made have a third party verify the information. Good luck.
