I bought my wife a 2010 Highlander she loves the car the first week we own the car engine light started coming on call them took the car back they took care of it three months later I have another problem with it and they will not return my calls Im very unhappy with their service
"Excellent Experience With Issue Though"
We found the SUV we were interested in online, went in Thursday night to see it. Karrie assisted us but we had to think about it and we have a 19 month old so it was nearing her bedtime. Move along to Saturday we decided to stop in again and met with ray and Camilo. Camilo had introduced himself Thursday night as well. We went over numbers, went over my husbands SUV for trade in. Nearing my daughters nap we told ray and Camilo we would be back later on. Camilo called me a hour later and said he could increase the trade in value, so we decided to go back around 3pm to close the deal. We went back and another manager nick came to explain the finance etc. I was puzzled because the nr wasnt what was agreed and when I asked maybe he didnt hear and I figured it was probably the old sheet. Fast forward to 5ish pm nick comes back explaining the rates etc and I said again that isnt the rate we agreed on. He said he couldnt do it thats why he had come over and thats when my husband and myself got up. We explained that isnt the deal and my husband said this is a scam and reason for why car sales have bad reps. He said this is void and ripped up the paper and nick commanded him saying hey hey sit down sit down now while he was getting my daughter ready to leave. The tone and way he spoke to my husband was like him speaking to a child and at this time my husband looked at him and said who do you think you are to tell me to sit, we wasted two hours here and this is a scam and rightfully cursed at him, especially since this is our 3rd time here and we had our daughter with us (anyone with a child knows they have attention spans of 10 mins) who the staff helped entertain her. We left and another manager Junior talked to us apologizing, he was very professional and pleasant. We explained our part and I even said this wasnt what was told to us and we wouldnt have wasted our time especially since there was another similar deal at another dealership. Nick even had the nerves to say Camilo shouldnt have agreed hes been here what 5 days. That itself is so unprofessional as well as Thursday night when we were leaving speaking to karrie he lit up a cigarette right while our daughter was next to us talking. After letting that incident calm down, we called Camilo and he was apologetic, we returned to the Mitsubishi side to meet ray and finish the deal. I have to say Ray and Camilo were both very professional and understanding, they worked with us and worked with what we needed with no sense of pressure or pushing us. Other staff members we encountered were very friendly as well. Would I return? Yes I would but I wouldnt deal with nick based on his gruffness and not having the ability to stick to words. It isnt even the fact of the amount but rather on principles. Camilo called saying the trade was higher, thus why we went back. To be quite honest Im not even sure why nick butted in our sale to begin with. There are many managers there and I think that is confusing itself. The gm Anthony was very nice as we were at the Mitsubishi showroom he was there too and I explained what had transpired. Its a family run business and I hope it continues to succeed especially being here local we wanted to buy from a local dealer, had it not been for karrie who showed us every detail of the suv (im sorry we didnt get to see u on the weekend), the professionalism of ray and Camilo, I am sure we would have gone elsewhere based on what happened with nick. I have also spoken to their chief of staff Chuck who was understanding and professional. Also met Lisa from the boutique store in the Mitsubishi section, who was very friendly and sweet when I went back to use the halterman cash. Sorry for a long review - halterman Toyota still deserves great rating but I figured it would be based on our whole experience here.

Buying the truck from haltermans was a great choice. Had Eric as a sales man and was very satisfied. Just been having an issue with my oil changes and a part that needed ordered. Do not deal with Chris in the maintenance department! My first oil change I had an appointment at 3pm and didnt get out of there till 530! 2 and a half hours for a oil change. He was supposed to order a sensor for my truck that I purchased with a light on the dashboard and its been almost 2 months and he just ordered it today! Not satisfied with this part.

"Poor Service Center"
Scheduled a 5k service for a Toyota lease and after many emails and phone calls asking that I not be late I arrive at the dealership, (on time) check in, and go to the waiting area. After an hour I look into the service area and I dont see my vehicle. I look outside and it has not moved. I approach the service girl to inquire about my vehicle and she states quite frankly "well were real busy, were waiting on some part for another car." I explained that I cannot wait and she basically shrugged and and said "ok". Most of my experience inside the dealership consisted of me witnessing a number of the employees out smoking, and the ones inside worried more about pizza than their customers. I understand that service can be delayed, however extend the same courtesy to your customers that you expect out of them. Good luck to you.

Ill try to keep this short since I have so much to say. Honestly...2015 was a bad year for me up until I came to Haltermans. I am really grateful to my friend Rebecca for bringing me there and meeting and working with Karrie. Karrie is really an amazing person. I know shes a sales person but talking to her was more like hanging out with a friend. I know 0% about cars but she explained everything to me in a way that if I wanted to explain to someone else, they wouldnt even know that I knew nothing. My mother (Josette, the one this survey is addressed to) is currently battling cancer... and I felt really guilty and worried about how she would be at the dealership because I didnt want to burden anyone or cause any problems, but everyone was so nice to my mom. That was the first time I saw her smile like that in a very long time. and Karrie checking up with my mom; making sure she was comfortable and ok, that made me really happy. Also Im grateful to Roger and I believe his name was Sean (the gentleman that helped us with the paperwork). Roger continued to help me stay positive about getting my car, which I still couldnt believe happened to a person like me. and Sean explained and answered all of our questions and I sincerely appreciate his honesty and everything. Im really really happy with my car. I named her Bella Lugosi. And its awesome driving and watching people giggle and "omg, ITS PINK" at my car while Im listening to Backstreet Boys. My car makes people happy, it makes my mom happy and me too. and I couldnt have done it without the kindness and patience of everyone we worked with at Haltermans. Junior was so polite and accomodating. He walked me through the steps and explained everything to me so I understood what was going on. He has so much patience with me. Chelsea was also awesome. I spoke to her a few times on the phone and then finally got to meet her. She was terrific. I also worked again with Steve, who leased me my first RAV4. Overall this was once again an amazing, non-pressured sale for me. Everyone made me feel comfortable. The cookies were awesome!!

This is my second experience dealing with Haltermans Toyota Scion dealership. A little less than a year ago I purchased a preowned 2008 Subaru Legacy. My car buying experience then was not so great. When the car did not satisfy my needs anymore, I thought why not give them another chance, and I am totally glad I did! I talked to the service and parts manager Matthew Roecker. He was always a huge help when I had to service my Subaru. He told me he would introduce me to a sales consultant who would make my car buying experience the second time around a success. That is when I met sales consultant Eric McNicholas. I was a little skeptical at first due to the issue i had prior with a young sales consultant. Though Eric totally proved me wrong. Eric and I clicked from the start, he was very personable, and had an amazing sense of humor. He answered all of my questions and each concern I had he took into consideration in choosing the right car for me. The way Eric presented himself was very professional. He had excellent negotiation skills when it came to the financing sales to make sure I was getting the best deal for the value of the 2016 Toyota Corolla Sport. I would highly recommend Eric Mcnicholas to anyone I know who was in need of a new vehicle. Eric made my car buying experience one to remember. I also dealt with Anthony Gonzales the sales Manager with my loan. Anthony as well, was very personable and excellent to work with. Sean was a huge help as well. Eric and Sean explained everything to me about Toyotas and how a Toyota corolla sport would be an excellent option for me. I did not know how I felt about a Toyota until I test drove it. The car was amazing, and I knew that was the car of choice for me. Lastly I worked with Michael Reilly the finance business manager who drew up my paperwork for the vehicle. Michael was also very personable and was a pleasure working with. Everyone I dealt with to make my experience at Haltermans a success was outstanding. The staff there really values their customers needs and is willing to go above an beyond to help each customer with their questions, and concerns. If i had to do it all over again I would not change a thing about these gentlemen, they were a pleasure working with.

I did NOT feel pressured to buy features I didnt want or need. I was able to leave with my new Camry THE SAME EVENING!!! The gentlemen stayed until late in the evening (about 9pm) to make the arrangements and detail my car so I can leave with the car the SAME NIGHT!!! Thomas even emptied the trunk of my rental into my new Camry while I was signing the paperwork!!! Thomas also made sure the rental was returned to Enterprise the next day!!! CANT SAY ENOUGH!!!!
