Just drove out of the Bald Hill Kia dealership with a brand new 2017 Kia Sportage! I met Mike Maymon, the salesperson. when my husband and I walked in to the showroom dealership a few weeks ago just before closing time. Mike approached us in a friendly helpful manner. I told him I had my eye on a new Kia Sportage or Sorrento and all I wanted to do that day was just get in and out of the vehicle to see if it suited my criteria. I didnt need to drive it just yet. Most important to me was how comfortable it was to get in and out of the car. It needed to be just right. I told him I was still shopping around and had not decided 100% on a Kia but might want to try looking at the Jeeps as well. Mike was very accommodating and chatted with us about the different models and features of the Kia cars. "Update To Previous Review"

Im providing an update my previous review. I have now had my brand new car for 6 weeks and the radio/antenna is still not fixed. The car has been in the shop 3 times already and Im waiting to hear when I can bring it back in to be "fixed" for a 4th time. The last time, they had the car for 5 days and I was called and told that the radio/antenna was working but that they had to order a "housing part for the antenna". When I arrived to pick up the car and turned the radio on IT WAS NOT WORKING. I spoke with, or rather yelled at, the Service Manager, Dave DeBlasio, who blamed the issue on Kia Tech support and that because this was an electrical problem it was complicated. He assured me that he personally would call me to schedule an appt. when "the part comes in". It has been four days and Ive heard nothing. I called this morning and left a message for Dave and again have heard nothing. I dont care whos fault it is. THE RADIO/ANTENNA NEEDS TO BE FIXED!!!!!!

"Not As Good As They Claim To Be."

I just started to come here from another Kia dealer due to the poor service I received there. I had my second oil change and tire rotation done and all was good. Two days later I noticed a bubble on one of the sidewalls of the rear tire. I took it back to dealer and was told tire had to be replaced to the tune of $268. I was outraged service manager said there was nothing he could do I had no recourse and tried contacting someone on several occasions and not one person got back to me. He claimed a pothole caused the bubble. Im not so sure but can not prove it. All I can say is they are losing a customer who gets a new car every three years for a 268 tire and bad customer service.

In May 2014 my husband was looking for a new car, and he was interested in the Kia Soul. So we went to Bald Hill Kia. While we were there I looked at the 2014 Kia Sportage. A couple weeks later I went back to Bald Hill and met with Mike Maymon. I made sure Mike knew I was just shopping and not ready to buy. Now we move forward to April 2015 and I was now ready to buy. I went back to Bald Hill Kia and met Mike again. This time we made a deal. I never felt any pressure from Mike. I am not sure I got the best deal, but I did get a deal I was happy with. I have now had my new Kia Sportage for 2 months, and I have no regrets. From start to finish, this had to be one of the best and easiest car buying experiences I have had. My initial contact was online and Deanna Lackey was quick to answer all my questions even after the dealership was closed! They gave me a great price through email on the Soul I wanted, so my wife and I made the 45 minute trip to look at it first-hand. That is when we met Al Paulo, who proceeded to give us one of the most thorough test drives I had been on. He asked us what our normal drive was then directed us to similar areas for about 10 miles! It really allowed us to see how this little car would perform and made the decision to buy easy. Now came the hard part...the deal and would they honor that great price without adding back in rebates I could not qualify for? Yes they did! Once the numbers were settled on, Paul Venice worked closely with us to get the best financing and payment we wanted, and Kevin Shannon completed the deal quickly. The whole experience took less than 3 hours! My wife and I were impressed with the entire process and couldnt be happier with the vehicle. He pulled the cars around for me to test drive and we were on the road in no time. He was very respectful of my time and I appreciate that more than anything. I let him know that I had other vehicles to look at before I made a decision. He totally understood and gave me a copy of the numbers we worked up and his business card. I came back later the next week and picked up a great car. From sign to drive, it was about 45 mins, my plate, insurance, washed and gassed new car was purring in the lot.
