I called regarding a specific vehicle. The guy tried to put me on a different car. It was obviously a loss leader. I told him that I was pre approved with my credit union and would be bringing a cashiers check. He said that he doesnt work with outside financing companies. This place is a joke. Dont waste your time here.

Found the vehicle on the internet and attempted to make contact with a salesman. Because I live quite a distance from the location of the dealership, I had specific questions, The salesman called back and after a brief discussion he informed me that due to some strange California law, he would not be able to sell the car to someone that resided out of state. He wasnt specific, but I had never heard of such. Further, I inquired, what was the point of advertising on the internet. He offered no plausible explanation other than this was the law in California. I quickly dismissed the interest in this dealership and went elsewhere to make my purchase. BUYERS BEWARE!

I signed up for autopay so each month they money comes right out of my account so I dont have to worry about making my payment. Always good when there is one less thing to worry about.

Ive been in the market for a BMW 5-series for a few months now. I orginally was planning on purchasing a mercedes benz E class but I got swayed by a radio advertisement to look into the BMW. I did my research and eventually drove in from out of town for a test drive at Statewide Auto Sales located in Sun Valley, CA. Jack immediately greeted us (my wife and I) and didnt waste any time getting me in for my test drive. He knew all the specs and features which made it easy getting my questions answered. Like me, he had a passion for the car. He was excited explaining all the bells and whistles and let me drive the car as long as I wanted. He was a genuine guy and tried everything he could to make me happy. I didnt like the color of the interior. I decided to go to a few other places and do a bit more research. I researched for another week and Jack kept in touch. Then he gave me a call one day, he said it was fate, the exact car I wanted just rolled into the dealership. I was there the next day and Jack made the process a breeze. I walked out with my new car and a feeling of satisfaction. I never felt as if Jack was trying to wheel and deal me (lets face it, an all to common experience with car salesmen). He was just a regular guy, new all the facts and didnt waste my time. If youre in the market for a BMW I highly suggest you make a trip out to Statewide Auto Sales, itll be worth your while. They also have a large selection of Mercedes- Benz!

I purchase my vehicle from car Statewide Auto Sales not too long ago. This company has excellent customer service with good pricing and financing. They are not like other used dealers that charge you an inflated price just beacuse your financing the vehicle. I didnt know how easily I can get finance but Statewide Auto Sales helped me to get financed and purchase my first Lexus. I will recommend to all my friends to purchase their vehicles from Statewide. All and all a good used car dealer, they have plenty of cars for sale and the fact that the owner is hands on and helps you with making a deal makes it a very easy transaction. . i will defiantly visit them again once i need to change my car.

I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee my new car!!!!!!!!!!!!! Words cant express just how happy I am to be driving my new S550!!! To go from a Honda Civic to such a luxurous and powerful car is amazing. I have been on cloud nine since saturday when i got the car. My entire experience from start to finish was exceptional. First off, I saw the car on cars.com and hesiated because its soo far from my home. I called the Sales person and discussed this issue with Sam. He is a nice old guy with a great sense of humor. He suggested I purchase a one way flight and drive the car back. He was kind enough to offer to pick me up from the burbank airport and even transfered me to his assistant to help me find a cheap flight which I did. When I arrived, there was already someone there from the company waiting to pick me up. Once I arrived to the location, I was in heaven. They had sooo many high end cars for me to pick from. I orginally came for the white S550 but when I got there I fell in love with the siver one. They havfe sooo many cars that they dont even have listed on their website which was a pleasent surprise. Everyone was sooo friendly and nice. The sales guy was cracking me up the whole time. They are really easy to negotiate with and they are not like other dealers that try to sell you a bunch of extra mumbo jumbo to inflat your monthly payment. I really appriciate how straight forward there were with me. Honestly is definetly important especially when your purchasing a used car. I would definetly refer people to this establishment. They said they will also give me $100 off my next payment if I refer someone which is really nice of them. So far so good. I have no complaints here. If you are looking for a used car at a reasonable price, this establishment is the place for you!
"Bait And Switch??? Ever Heard Of It Fellas???"
I found a car on cars.com that was a 2005 Mercury Grand Marquis with only 39,000 miles on it. My engine blew in my car with just over 90,000 miles and I just needed a new car quick. I had looked at 2000s with only 40,000-70,000 miles so it was believable for the miles to be so low, but to have a 2005 was the reason I went to Statewide versus the 2010 with same miles (39,000) for $13,944. I was also happy to have the option to put down just 30% and finance the rest and maintain my privacy. They called me after a middle of the night online inquiry and I asked them numerous questions. They also told me that the car comes with a 4 year bumper to bumper warranty as long as I bring it to them for repairs. I told them I had cash in hand and would like a ride to get there. They took down my address and said the driver was on a break, but would send him over in just a bit. After 3 patient hours I finally called back as I had a lot to get done with a car since Id been without one for two weeks by now. They kept saying I was calling the wrong place and it was like stepping into the twilight zone. Finally, the Sales Manager said to get a cab instead and he would just subtract it off the car I was for sure buying. It really does not look like a dealership at all, more like a run down industrial park with a lot of body shops and other businesses that dont need a retail front to be successful, but was impressed with the vast number of luxury vehicles behind the wall once inside. They showed me the car and asked one of their helpers to pull it out for me so I could take it for a test drive and so forth. The man asked if I was hungry and I said No, but then he said, "Come on? It is going to take him five minutes to get that car out, we have a fresh barbeque, our treat." I had a couple of quick pieces of chicken, which was really unexpected and very thoughtful. The car pulled up at the perfect time and as soon as I sat inside I knew something was wrong. The pictures along with the story of the mileage told a different story than the reality. Their were holes drilled in the dash and clear coat pealed off the wood from something being attached to the dash. It wasnt until I got on the test drive did I finally notice that my little barely driven baby had 123,000 miles on her. The worker who went on the test drive and moved the car out didnt speak very good English, but eventually got me back to the dealership and I wasnt showing how upset I was for wasting all of my time, over four hours and missing out on a few other cars I would have been interested in, if this one didnt exist. I explained to the salesman what happened and he just tried to talk over it like no problem and mentioned the warranty again for four years. He instructed me to speak to the Sales Manager to get my taxi reimbursed and to arrange a ride home, since it was so badly misrepresented. The manager said he didnt have $20. Really?? I told him I am sure one of the other fellas could spot him until payday, but he wasnt interested in that...he said, "I told you I would take it off the price of the car" and I jumped in with the obvious that I was willing to accept that as I was believing I was buying the car for sure, unless of course it was massively misrepresented, which of course it was. I finally convinced him while remaining calm the entire time, that it would NOT be a good idea to dismiss me as if I didnt matter. He finally went and asked the owner for the $20, but in the end, asked the lowest end of the totem pole, the driver to give it to me after he got me to my house. I was very skeptical that they were going to drop me off and still not give me my money. I did get my $18 back for the cab, but it is not a place I would do business with ever again. They were so apathetic about the whole situation and didnt seem to bother with the fact that they made a mistake and that I was being so cool about it. They removed miles from being displayed, not fixing it.

I want to start off by stating that I am more then thrilled with my purchase from Statewide Auto Sales. In the past, purchasing a car has always been a hindrance in my life. It’s never a good feeling to fall in love with car and be denied it based on your credit. Statewide has very nice, safe, luxurious, used cars and they will finance anyone. I can definitely testify to that! I wish I could give them 6 out of 5 stars for that. I really appreciated how respectful they were and the no pressure sale. They have so many nice cars, I must have test drove 20 cars before I finally decided. They were so patient and made me feel so comfortable.

I was looking for a very specific car. I was looking for a Black BMW 3-series with RED interior. I was just about to give up when I found one online. I found this place on cars.com. I live in NOHO, so I was soo happy to find out that its just a few miles away from my house. I hoped in my car and I was there in a few minutes. At first I though i was in the wrong place bc it didnt look like a car lot from the outside but I was amazed but the inventory I saw behind those walls LOL!!! Originally, I was going to buy the car cash bc I dont have good credit. But, once they told me they can finance me, I decided to get financing bc Im starting a new business and i could use the extra money to invest in my company. All in all, very impressed by the operation they have going. Two thumbs up :)
"Hidden Gem In Sun Valley"
I did not buy my car from Statewide but I did have it serviced there. I took my car to the BMW dealership and they were trying to charge me an arm and a leg. Literally!!!! They gave me a $5,000 estimate and I was soo upset. My friend told me about this place and told me to speak to Sam. Sam said he would fix it for less then half the price. I instantly though he was an old man and didnt know what he was talking about. Although I thought he was full of it, I figured I had nothing to lose. I had my car towed there by AAA and I met with Sam and Eddie. I showed them the estimate from BMW and they said they would have it fixed for $2100.00. I obviously agreed and they did what they said. I also had a few small dents on the car and they fixed them for free! Really great service and very genuine people. I would gave them 6 stars if I could. Highly recommended to others!!!
"Save The Day"
In the past, I have not been a fan of buying used cars. Unfortunatly, at this point in my life due to circomstances, I had no choice but to. I was looking for a Nissan Z. I found one on cars.com and I drove for hours to go to buy it. I live in fresno and the car dealer was all the way in LA, after driving for hours, I finally get to the dealership, and the car was junk. I test drove it and it was making the worse noise ever. At this point I was angry and wanted to salvage my day somehow. I went back on cars.com and found this place. Sooo Happy I did. They were 30 minutes away from that other dealer but It worked out perfect. The car is a great value and my payments are only $249! What more can I ask for. Thanks for turning that disaster upside down. Oh, the area is very industrial but dont let that fool you. really cool cars once you get inside.

Going around socal and finding the right car is hard to come by but when you go to statewide they have a huge variety of luxury cars with the best customer service. Me having bad credit it was not that easy to get financed, over here helped they helped me with financing and to get the best car for me which was a 2006 645i. Anyone looking to buy a used car should definetly check this place out, and if you do not find what your looking for you can always try their free barbecue.

I have nothing to good to say about this establishment! I hope they all riot in hell for the way they conduct business. The cars are a piece of junk, the repair and service department is a joke. Read your contract carefully and do your own math! The finance department cant add and they will add on fees that you never agreed to. Never be so disparate for a car where you would even think to go here. These people should all be in prison.

Im a girl who is fairly new to LA who doesnt have that much serious knowledge about used cars, so I was VERY nervous about car shopping. I bought my BMW here last August and I couldnt imagine a better experience. Sam was very helpful and trustworthy and Im very happy with my car! Its a small, family place which is a big plus in my opinion. I got a very fair deal on the car itself, and they helped me get the best financing deal possible for a actress/student who has never made a major purchase before. I felt very comfortable the whole time, and never felt like I was being taken advantage of which was my main fear when I began car shopping. Also, my car was missing the drivers seat sun visor, but I wanted to take it home right away so they ordered the part and I came back 2 days later to have it put on. Very good customer service. So yeah, they come highly recommended from me and will be the first place I stop next time Im car shopping.

I was considering purchasing a vehicle from this company. I decided to be smart about it and go online and read reviews about them. I found NOT ONE positive review about them. a lot of them were involving their cars breaking down or something wrong with the car and how LONG it took to get the car back, where they just had to bring it back 10 minutes later. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and call the dealer and ask " If i was really far away and my BMW broke down can I tow it to another BMW dealer near where i broke down or do i have to tow it back to you guys.?" the man on the phone said i would have to tow it back to them and told me to get AAA...hmmm kinda sketch, I then ask my 2nd question, "can I take the car to another BMW dealership for a pre purchase inspection to make sure nothing was wrong with the car?" the guy told me I have to take it to the closest dealership to them. I told him that the closest one near them that offered to inspect the car was in calabasas and her told me that was to far and then rushed me off the phone because he had to answer other phone lines. I will NEVER consider buying a car from them do your own homework and be smart before you make a HUGE mistake
