"Disgusted With Sales Behavior"
Went in to look at cars. Pushy sales. Wanted all our personal information before even showing us cars. When I walked away Scott took advantage of my girlfriends naive car buying experience and had her sign documents to run credit checks and her social security. When I asked them to shred the documents they refused saying it was theirs now. Very upset with Scott and Country Hyundai as a whole. I will tell everyone to go elsewhere.

I contacted the dealer repeatedly and was only answered with vague responses not answering any of my questions, I explained I was not willing to waste my time going out of state without answers and got a little more information after over a day of trying. I made an appointment which was pushed back several hours without my knowledge. When I arrived I was told the information I had previously been given was wrong and there would be no incentives discount etc available. When I told them I absolutely had to leave to arrive to work on time they continued to jerk me around and not give me my keys to be able to leave until the third time I asked for them. I was late for work I was not offered any kind of deal and I will not return

To sum it up: total waste of time, had a verbal and partial written agreement (that took 3 days to get to), and then they tried to say that I misunderstood (even though the salesman said that he had also said he heard the same deal that I had). I was spoken to by both managers in a condescending way, and felt like they were trying to take advantage of the fact that I was a young female inexperienced to the car buying world. I will be going out of my way to tell every young person I know that is starting their searching of buying new cars NOT TO GO HERE. I hope you dont misunderstand THAT^ Country Hyundai. On a side note though, if you do decide to go there (which I DO NOT RECOMMEND) ask for Mike. He is probably the only helpful person in there, but is still kind of new so make sure that the entire price is laid out by both him and the manager (who will probably try very hard to avoid talking to you for very long).

Great Service, my dealer picked me up in downtown Northampton each of the times I came to look at a car. Could not be more useful. The inside of the dealership is clean and neat, no points of stress or what not. Test-drive went smooth. Very satisfied with everything.

Brought in my 2012 Hyundai Tucson for a oil change and was given the VIP treatment. Tom greeted me as soon as I as drove into the service area and immediately started processing my car and explaining everything to me. With Tom both you and your car are top priority from when You arrive until you leave satisfied with your service. While waiting for my car I was asked my several employees if there was anything they could do for me. I was also greeted by my salesman Scott who sold me my new 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport in February of this year. Even after the sale Scott is still making sure I am happy with my purchase and asking if there is anything he can do for me. Not only is Scott my salesman but has also be one a great friend. It is people like Tom and Scott who keep me coming back to Country Hyundai. Them along with others make going to Country Hyundai a very pleasant experience. Thank You all.

Im so frustrated right now I brought my car in this past Monday I has told them it was idling like crap and the motor or transmission was knocking when I went from park to drive. They had my car all day and told me they didnt hear the noise and I just needed a computer update. I picked up my car and it was still doing the same thing then today I was driving it and it started hesitating and jerking. This will now be my 5th time bringing the car back. Its such a inconvience to be without a car. I would have kept my old car if I had known this. I didnt pay 16,000 for a car to have all these problems. They did the same thing to me with the brakes I told them there was a problem and they told me no it was just cause it was sitting for days. 2 days later it was back in the shop. Ive had more problems with this "newer car " than I did my other car I traded in. Im tired of the car going in and having to ask coworkers if I can borrow their cars to do my job. If you see I had left a negative comment before but they had asked me to remove it because they fixed everything well only took 3 days without my car. I went in there to buy a newer car with a lower car payment and walked out with a higher payment and a car that obviously needs a lot of work. Never again will I buy a car from there.

After owning my 03 Pontiac Grand Am for 11 years I had to make a decision to buy a small SUV that was comfortable and good on gas. I test drove the Hyundai Santa Fe at a couple of different dealerships and fell in love. The one thing that I noticed at Country Hyundai was the fact they were not pushy and wanted to assure that I had a good buying experience. Shinny Santiago was fantastic and found the exact (actually a little better package) Santa Fe that I was looking for with a decent price tag on it. Thanks again!

Im on my second Hyundai via Country. I regret everyday changing vehicles. Never had a problem with my first vehicle or salesperson but I got all of these enticing offers to get into a new vehicle at a lower cost. Who wouldnt jump at that opportunity? Well, it was the worst decision I made. The "Newer" vehicle has had problem after problem, the salesman did not listen to any of my requests and just did not do as well as the first and the "Newer" vehicle is just overall costing more money on repairs and financing. The only thing that Country Hyundai has going for it right now in my opinion is Patrick Hamel in the Service Dept. I wish I could buy a vehicle from him.

I had been putting off taking a vacation day to have someone check my slipping transmission. I called early in the morning and the staff was most accommodating, and made an appointment for later that morning. I brought the car in--drove it into the dealership- and dropped it off. Shortly thereafter, i was given transport to the nearest theater, and enjoyed the day there and was picked up and driven back to the dealership in time to get my car, now with a new transmission. Under warranty, the repairs cost my nothing but the time. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the car is much improved!

I shopped several dealers in my quest for a new vehicle and no one compared to the excellent service i experienced at Country Hyundai. Aside from having a great selection of vehicles to choose from and an excellent parts and service department, i was most impressed with the professionalism, sincerity and friendliness of the personnel at Country Hyundai. They treated me with the utmost respect and strived to give me the best possible deal on a new car. I will definitely do business with Country Hyundai again, and recommend them to anyone looking for a great deal on a new or used vehicle.

I wish I could give 1/2 star the sale people trick tout into buying a car from them and give you everything you need and sweet talk you and make it seem like you can trust them. Don t fall for it. I was buying a used vehicle from them and after reaching a deal and was told the vehicle was check and ready to go no problems. While driving homethe car kept pulling to right I took Iit back and without me knowing or asking they took my vehicle to town fair tire to get all the wheel alignment They didnt tell me they where taking my vehicle off the lot to a different place. Still my car pulls right did not fix anything . The whispers where bad had to replace myself the coolant was very low had to add some they said they did a full check up before car was sold which it was not done. Now they are fighting me to have them fix my car with pulling to right and to give me money I had to spend to make car usable

I love the friendly service department at Country Hyundai. They have always taken great care of me and my car. To be honest, I had a bad experience with the sales department when I purchased my first Hyundai (they did funny things with the numbers we agreed on, performed an improper plate transfer I had to fix with my insurance company), so I bought my second one at another dealer, but I continue to have my vehicle serviced at Country Hyundai. The new facility in Northampton is shiny and clean. You can drive right into the service department.

Overall the sales person that waited on us was very knowledgable about the vehicle. The finance manager on the other hand was not on the top of my list. We found another bank at a lower rate to refinance so we submitted are paperwork with Alex to cancel our gap insurance and he said could you wait so we dont get penalized by the other bank. It is not are fault we found a better interest rate. He held up our paperwork over forty-five days. When I kept calling he said things take time. Then he blamed the delay on another worker in office. Finally when I called very upset things got taken care of and his three month period is over and he isnt going to be penalized because he held our paperwork up to finance with another bank. I feel that if they found us the best interest rate we wouldnt have to refinance ourselves. I feel very upset about this situation and if I had to recommend this hyundai dealership to a friend I would not just because of the shady doing on this finance managers part. I upgraded to a vehicle that was twice as much as the vehicle I was in. I feel like he didnt care because the sale was already complete with him. It is too bad that I had this experience because I am very pleased with my vehicle.

We own 2 Hyundais, 1 purchased from Country, 1 from another dealer. Both have been serviced by Country since new (1 for 4 yrs, 1 for 3 yrs). Service has been outstanding each time from start to finish. Even purchased new tires from Country since the price was better than any of the "volume, lowest price" tire dealers in the area. Service dept always professional, pleasant and on time.

Do not buy a vehicle from Country Hyundai! Oh sure, they’ll promise you the moon, but once you drive off the lot, forget about them resolving any problems you have. I bought a vehicle from them exactly 1 year ago this month. I specifically told them that I wanted 4 new tires put on the car. When I picked up the car 3 days later, I asked if new tires had been put on the vehicle. Scott the sales guy reassured me that yes, new tires were put on the car. Flash forward to this week – went and got a pre-inspection done. I was told that all 4 tires are bad! Not only that, but 2 are one brand, and the other 2 are entirely different brands! I have put less than 10k miles on this car, there is NO WAY that I should need new tires. So #1, I was blatantly lied to by the sales guy. I’m thinking that because I’m a woman, he figured I was stupid and oh well. And please note that I have only put 11000 miles on the car in a year....tires are normally good for 30k-+40k miles. When I found out about the tires, I immediately called them. I was told that “someone will get back to you asap!†I also emailed my complaint and informed them that I wanted someone to call me. I then called them back and was connected to someone named Mike, who was going to look into it After 3 hours, I had to call Mike back. He then itold me "well, you didnt rotate the tires, so ....basically this is your problem" I cannot believe that somone who is supposed to be in the business of customer service would speak to a customer like that. Be warned – they only care when they are trying to sell you a vehicle. Once you drive off the lot, you are no longer their problem.

This dealership and the sales people are only interested in making money, no interest in customer service. Once they have your money good luck. I unfortunately purchased a vehicle from this business, complying with all of their requests, asked specifically if they needed the deposit before processing any registration paperwork and was told outright that aside from contacting my insurance agent, to bring the check with me at the end of the following day when picking up my vehicle. Unfortunately for me, this was completely untrue. I arrived at the agreed upon time the next evening to find out that not only had they not registered my vehicle, but no one on the premise was able to finish my paperwork, leaving me without a car due to my following their instructions and cancelling my insurance, registration, and license plates. I had been assured by Scott, eager to leave for his vacation, that everything would be taken care of, and it would be an easy and quick transition. The car wasnt even fully prepped for me to take home, which they acknowledged after I brought it to their attention. After voicing my frustration with their lack of professionalism, leaving me without a way to get to work on time the following morning, and requesting some type of customer service reimbursement for their error I was told that they are unable to do that. Multiple other dealerships I have purchased vehicles with have always been willing to offer complimentary services as compensation for their errors. Country Hyundai seems to feel that inconveniencing customers, interfering with work schedules, and frankly poor communication skills warrants nothing. I am very disappointed and after such a poor first experience will never come here again, or recommend it.

This was my second Sonata lease. Just as in the first time, the sales person and the Manager bent over backwards to get me a fabulous deal. I already liked my car and was going to buy it, but the staff came up with a wonderful proposal so I could drive a new car for three more years. I really feel like they over-delivered which always feels good. They are personable and have a good sense of humor which makes the process of much more enjoyable.All my service visits have been very efficient and professional and again, the staff goes out of their way to be nice and accommodating, 5 stars for sure!!

I had a positive experience even being able to purchase my new vehicle on a Sunday with a Monday pick-up. My only negative feedback as the staff were very pleasant was the lack of simple amenities. Buying a car takes hours and there was nothing available to eat or drink except water. I have a blood sugar problem - but had expected there would be a vending machine at the least - but nothing. Being so hungry made the process a lot more uncomfortable for me. I was also too tired to realize at the end that I really should have been shown more than one car/option. I am content with my purchase, but would have appreciated at least one other option. I also was not told where I can get another of the (my guess) super expensive laser-made keys can be gotten as I always like to have a spare in case of emergencies. Anti-theft is great, but super-special keys only make it hard on the consumer. If a thief wants that car, that expensive key isnt going to make a bit of difference.

My overall experience was very good. The staff is welcoming and knowledgable. The only thing I would have changed is that I receive a call when the car was done and told of any additional recommendations needed. I called in to check on the car because I hadnt heard anything back from them. I was informed of some additional maintenance items that were needed. They offered to take care of a couple of the smaller items right away as I was leaving on a long trip. They also gave me quotes and a time frame on the additional work needed. They were very helpful and courteous.

Thank You to the gentleman at the front service desk. I came in needing a low beam headlight and was taken right away. I did not have to wait long either!! Earlier in the week I had called to see if this was a covered item on our extended warranty and it was not, so then I inquired about the cost and the woman told me, when I was to check out gentleman told me the charge and was more than quoted, I questioned him and he asked her and he rectified the charge to what I had been quoted, with no issue at all. I have been looking for a used car for about a month. I found a car on cars.com that fit the bill. I contacted the dealership. They were very good with getting in touch with me, etc, but they could be better at customer service. I dont like dealerships, Im always wary that something sleazy is going on, so I was uncomfortable to begin with. There are a few things that they couldve done to make a superior experience. First, dont assume that the buyer knows how the whole experience works. I was surprised to find out that I shouldve expected to wait 2 hours for my insurance co. to fax their doc back. Second, the seller said hed put gas in the car for me, and he gave me 1/2 tank. Lame. Third, they neglected to point out that they had pre-paid for my state inspection at a nearby gas station. I ended up going to an inspection station that had more convenient (weekend) hours for me. Maybe I shouldve known that Id prepaid, but I didnt. Ultimately, I wouldnt go so far as to recommend them. I wouldve been happier if theyd make a few simple changes in customer relations.

My daughter and I went to Country Hyundai in August to purchase a 2012 Accent. After meeting the salesman and taking a test drive we came to an agreement. We told the salesman the two color options we wanted 1) Blk w/gray interior or Slvr w/blk interior. We were told we needed to put down a $500 locator fee which we did. We were also told it could take up to two weeks to get. We were ok with this, but I began calling on a regular basis after the two week period because apparently they dont have their salesmen follow up with the customer. The only time they "proactively" called me was either when returning my call or after I spoke to a sales manager and expressed my displeasure. So after waiting for 8 plus weeks they finally called on 10/15 to tell us our car had arrived. Upon our arrival we found that this was not the color combination we ordered and after some finger pointing by our salesman and the sales manager, and having enough disappointment and frustration with this whole process we asked for our money back. Of course they could not provide this on the spot so they sent it to us two days later. Because of this overall experience I will never give them our business in the future.

My husband and I had been car shopping for a couple of weekends in the Springfield/Northampton area. Not only were we disappointed in the car prices that we saw but also the customer service. I started looking at inventories on the internet and happened upon a car that we liked at Country Hyundai with a very good price. So, we headed up to Greenfield from South Hadley. We should have started there! Our salesperson Roberto was very knowledgeable and also let us take our time looking around the lot. We asked him many questions about the car and he was happy to answer them all. He even went over the Carfax report with us and told us some things to watch out for. He was so helpful with our car buying experience that my mom almost bought one too! Not only was the customer service excellent, setting up everything to buy the car, insurance and stuff, but the whole process was so easy. After having our new car for a week we found a minor problem with the brakes that was not detected on our road test. It was something that happened on longer trips. Within 3 days of calling the dealership up, we were in the service department and everything was fixed. We were amazed at how easy it was to work with the service department. I will recommend Country Hyundai and especially Roberto to anyone who is looking for a new or used car. I have already been telling people where to go when they remark about the great new car that my husband and I have. The overall experience, from the salespeople to the service center is wonderful!
