Before I found my way to Pembroke, I had visited about five or six dealerships from Friday to Sunday, and most all of them just wasnt listening to the customer. Little things, really, like "I want exterior black," and the sales rep comes out and says, "I have Silver." Well, not McGee Preowned - they went above and beyond. They were fantastic, and Felix was sooooo patient and understanding and kind. He worked the deal fantastically and was very communicative about what deals fell through, and what happened when I ended up at another dealer who ran a credit app on a car that I thought was theirs. I also enjoyed when Chris Logan texted me when I was at that other location. I almost made a mistake buying the wrong car at the wrong location, a car that I wasnt very happy about it. My situation wasnt that complicated, but the other dealerships that I visited made it too complicated. Long story short, I was approved for the same car that McGee had at another dealership through a bank that all dealers work with [not a regular bank, that is], but the dealer had no title for the car and wouldnt have the title for three weeks, and that wasnt going to be helpful to me. When I went to the other dealerships, I explained the situation and all of the credit apps got denied because they didnt call the bank that approved me and explain, "Hey, shes approved, we just need to transfer the approval from the other dealership to our dealership." Thats what Felix did, flawless. He got on the phone and was very communicative. And when I was at the other location, he called personally to find out where I was. Most General Sales Managers dont give that personal touch to customers. I often have to chase down a General Sales Manager at another dealership if communication is going sideways, and Felix is excellent to communicate with when it came to finding the right car and the right deal. Rick St. James was a fantastic sales rep. He explained the car, features, took me for a test drive and went above and beyond to offer help in other areas of the purchase. He offered advice, and has a great personality, very funny and personable. The finance business manager, Arnold Bennett, was also fantastic to work with. I feel that the business side is the most exciting because it means that the deal went through. He was very knowledgeable about Gap Insurance and Extended Warranty, and about the customers part regarding contacting the insurance agent. All around great experience. I came in to McGee frustrated by those other dealerships that I will not name and I will not post negative reviews about them - I think its just about finding the right place. I live 1-hour away, and had to drive far but it was worth it. Not every dealership has the magic to speak with the banks. They all make you think they do, but besides McGee Preowned and two other dealerships between 2008 and 2017, I can know put McGee as the third dealership that I have gone to who made me feel comfortable and didnt lie to me. All the other dealerships that I visited, at one point or another, lied to me. One dealership even lied about my credit score, saying that it was 450, just to get a high rate from a bank. I laughed at her because they think that being a woman, putting a woman as a sales rep will make me not see the lies. There were also so many other great cars to choose from McGee Preowned, so the huge selection is very attractive. Mercedes, Infiniti, GMC Acadia, GMC Yukon, Chevy Tahoe, Chevy Suburban, Honda - all fantastic choices. If there is one car that you dont like, there are soooo many others to choose from. Their website also has the best pictures, too. They take so many detailed pictures of the cars, it gives you the full understanding of the car before you test drive it.

I needed a good car at a good price and went into McGee Superstore in Pembroke, MA. where I had bought from many years ago. I was fortunate to meet Robyn Mihalut at the first desk inside the door on the showroom floor. She was extremely pleasant, listened very well to my needs and found the perfect car for me. I am a retail person myself, and have many years of management and sales experience, so I am very sensitive to the quality of sales folks when I encounter them. Robyn did an awesome job getting everything together for my purchase. Also, Arnie Bennett, the business manager there also did a great job helping it all come together, not to mention Ryan, the service manager who was terrific as well. I am thrilled with my experience. Cannot express how impressive my experience was at McGee. Rick St James was informative and helpful in a casual manner which made the experience an absolute pleasure. I highly recommend asking for him if you are in the market for s new vehicle. Marlin Pina handled the financing effortlessly. I got a the best rate and felt that I was his priority for the entire time I was there. In 2 and a half hours I got exactly the car I wanted at a very competitive price. South shore or even north shore this is without a doubt the best dealership to purchase your next vehicle.

Went to look at a Grand Cherokee today we had seen online. Sales person was really strange, knew nothing about the cars she was selling I mean nothing. She acted pretty rude when I told her I would just wait outside for her while she grabbed the keys. Even though she could not explain what McGee Certified was or tell us anything specific about the vehicle - my wife and I actually liked the Jeep and would have most likely bought it. We just couldnt imagine dealing with this sales person for the next 2 hours while closing the deal. I did thank her for her time but explained we were not interested, she turned and walked away without saying anything. STRANGE experience.

"Weird Way Of Treating Customers"

I was driving around three hours to Pembroke and checked one car there. Not as the previous review, the car was still there. After the test drive, I was quite interested in the car and started the discussion about purchasing the used car. However, the person used multiple reasons to deny the way of paying a deposit first and bringing in a certified check later (if you are a dealer or you have communicated with dealers before, could you please let me know how common this is.). Instead, he was insisting that I should FINANCE THE CAR RIGHT NOW no matter what I replied. Okay, then let us be reasonable. Assume that I give you the whole money on site, meaning I really trust the dealer, is it possible that you could give me the car several hours later on the same day since I drove quite a long way to here. The answer from the dealer is "No. You need to come back next week to take the car. Two-hour (indeed it is almost three hours, one-way) drive is not a big deal. I also drive. I know how it feels--not a big deal." I was really wondering why this could happen: a dealership with such a long history and nice review scores could do things like this. Then the dealer confidently and constantly told me that they DONT HOLD CARS and there are two more customers coming that day to check the same car. Also, most dealers can take deposit first and then completely sell the car after taking the certified check for the rest of the money. Why was he insisting that I have to pay all of the money without any delay? I was even offering that I could mail them overnight with the certified check early next week but still got denied. What was the reason behind this and why did it seem like that the dealer gave no trust on the customer? Anyway I left. The way of treating customers was really AMAZING to me.
"Worst Experience Ever!"
This was by far the worst car buying experience I have had. I would never go back to McGee and I would not recommend them to anyone. I called ahead of time to confirm that the vehicle I was interested in was available and on the lot. I made an appointment with Christopher to test drive the vehicle that afternoon. After speaking with Christopher and being assured the car would be gassed and ready to go I drove 2 hours to Pembroke only to be told that the vehicle had been sold days earlier. Christopher was at his desk and did not even acknowledge me. He had all of my information including cell phone number and could have called to let me know the car had been sold. Christopher assured me the car was available without even checking to make sure that it was on the lot. When I explained how upset I was the sales manager did not even apologize but said, “It’s not like we have a system to tell us that a car has been sold. What do you want us to do?†I ended up sitting in 3 hours of cape traffic to get home. Horrible experience all around. I wish I could give 0 stars!

I drove down to McGee from boston and Im glad I did. I had just been test driving a yukon at a chevy dealer in the north shore. The dealer couldnt get the price right and must have thought I wouldnt walk.So I left disappointed. When I called McGee I was pleased with the honesty of the sales manager so I drove down. Ryan and Charlie set me up with a great deal on a newer low mileage tahoe. After a little back and forth with my trade we settled on a great deal. Incredible, easy financing rates as well. I would recommended anyone to check this place out! Ps not sure how but the chevy dealer found out I bought the truck at McGee. I was more than happy to let them know I got a better deal at McGee.

I saw the car listed on the very easy to use cars.com web service and I responded . I was immediately given an appointment for the vehicle I wanted to evaluate, and I bought it for the price listed. The sales associate was very helpful. The financial agent made things simple.I financed there. I did wish I was given copies of the paperwork I signed when I signed them. My daughter picked up the vehicle and did not recieve paperwork so I had to call to have it sent to me at home. When I called the sales associate was very friendly and said he would send it in the mail. Overall the experience was very positive. I saved a lot of time surfing the web for what I wanted and there was no effort made to get me to look at vehicles I was not interested in.I really like the McGee dealership.

I was a cyberspace tire kicker. I will need a car within the next 4-8 weeks. I contacted the dealer with a few simple, specific questions. I received several enthusiastic phone calls and emails insisting on my return call to "discuss" my purchase. I never received my answers. I asked to be transferred to someone who would be willing to help me. The answer was "No". I wished him luck in his future and he thanked me. That was my last contact.

"Will Not Reimburse My Extended Warranty"
Purchased a car at McGee two years ago. Bought extended warranty. Traded in my car in December. Car had 75,000 on it and had never used warranty that kicked in at 50,000 miles. Was told at purchase of warranty that I would be able to get prorated refund if still under warranty when sold car. Sent McGee my paperwork requesting refund. Did not even receive a response from McGee. Contacting Attorney General.

awful place to buy a car. was told because i am not financing with the deal nor did i have a trade in that i could not purchase a certain car? who says that to someone you are trying to do business with? sales people are very kind its the management thats out of whack. On top of that the car has been there for at least 6 months because i have checked up on the site. how pathetic. save your time and go to a real dealership that actually wants to do business

Ryan Singer and Chris Squires were absolutely delightful sales associates; even though we did not end up purchasing our automobile there. We regretted not being able to provide these sales gentleman a sale they were that good but when they had to get their management staff involved because theyre required to do so the sale went south. The management staff they had to go to in order to try to make the deal were out to lunch and unrealistic. They insulted us with an absolutely ridiculous offer on our trade-in offering $500; we did our homework the trade value was $3600-$4100 so we took the trade in off the table and when we said well keep our current car the trades off the table they refused to negotiate even $500 dollars off the price of their 4 year old car with 40,000 miles which had been on their lot for more than 3 months...apparently they must really like this car because they still own it today.... We did our homework and as a savvy auto purchaser this rude and greedy management team will fail all of them. We are so grateful to have purchased our new automobile at Rodman Ford, their sales staff is good and their management team were realistic with negotiations and they even throw in a lifetime drive train warranty that will knock your socks off on all purchases new or used. I will never purchase at McGee and do not recommend them. If you are a savvy car shopper like we were you will not allow this management team to pull the wool on you as they will try.

"Truly Disappointed"
We drove almost 3 hours to get to this dealership as I saw the car I wanted to see online. When we got there the staff was friendly and courteous. We test drove the vehicle and when it was time to talk prices we were told that they do not budge on their internet prices. They told us they lowball these prices and do not move on them. Nowhere on their website is this mentioned and I would have never wasted my time in travel had I known this. They eventually did ask us what our number was and then were told there was no way that would be accepted. A manager was called upon and came to greet us and we were told again that the price was the price and that was it. We walked out. They did not even come back with another number, which we would have considered. I was truly disappointed with our experience at this dealership. What car dealership does not haggle on prices? The vehicle had high mileage and we had a trade in. I would Never recommend this dealership to anyone.
