"Misleading"
Shopping for a new Porsche that was labelled as new, only to find out its been used (200+ miles) and for whatever reason, is currently actively going through its warranty without an owner. On top of that, they wouldnt entertain an additional markdown even though the car has been sitting on their lot for months. Avoid.
"Excellent"
I live in New Jersey but was able to find the car I wanted through cars.com. I had a great experience dealing with Santa Barbara Auto Group. I dealt with CJ, who was very responsive. I would definitely recommend this dealer to anyone looking for a new car.
"Fast Responses"
I didnt end up purchasing the car but the internet sales rep was happy to help with any questions regarding the car i was looking at. Great customer service.
"Just Reduced!...my Opinion Of This Auto Group"
10-26-2016
I drove from San Diego with the intent to purchase vin#5TDXK3DC3FS565752. The carfax had a clean report, the pictures posted showed no damage, and the dealer rep texted me multiple times writing about the van. Upon arrival the van needed to be jumped as the battery wouldnt start. The rep had a 4hr notice that we would be coming to view the vehicle. The vehicle had 3 bald tires that they said they would replace. At no time was it disclosed that this vehicle had three significant areas of body damage. Not door dings, significant body damage! The trip from San Diego is lengthy especially with two little ones in the car. For the dealership to omit that the car had significant damage is wrong. What is alarming is that when speaking to management they agreed that they had failed us and suggested that we yell at the rep that texted us info on the vehicle. To yell was the offered suggestion. Really? Needless to say we will not offer our business to this auto group.
"Was A Good Experience He Answered My Uestions"

"Car Purchase Made Easy"
My sons recent car purchase at the Santa Barbara Auto Group - Acura Dealership went extremely smooth. Our salesman Mike Smith took care of everything for him and his first car purchase after graduating from college. He even held the car for him while he waited for his credit union loan to go through. I cannot thank him enough. We had a terrible experience with another out of town dealership and were so glad to be able to find a car and purchase it in our hometown. There are a lot of unethical used car sales people out there, but Mike is not one of them. He made sure that a young novice auto purchaser understood the process from beginning to end. Once he brought the check in, it took about 30 minutes to finalize the entire purchase. Mike has even checked in with us a couple of times since our purchase to make sure everything is still fine.
"I Thought For Sale Meant For Sale?????"
was interested in buying a car thats been listed for a bit and was told its complicated. Was told someone did paperwork, had not paid anything, and that they plan on possibly getting it in about a week. I told them i was willing to come and get it within 24hrs paid cash. Was told no, wow way to do business and make a sale!!!! Dont list cars that are "complicated"!!!!!
"Looking For A Pre-owned... Nice Experience"
I used cars.com to scout for a pre-owned Porsche and found an interesting 2008 Carrera C2 offered at Santa Barbara Auto Group. I spoke to the sales rep over the phone and based on that conversation, I visited the dealership. Asking price was attractive given the the cars; appearance, mileage, equipment & condtion and at the right price point to start negotiation. The sales rep, Shane was knowledgible and friendly and the facilities impecable. I found the vehicle was as advertised however, I ultimately decided to pass due to the color of the car (Metalic Ruby Red) ...Lots of these these cars are available so Ill keep looking to find exactly what I want. I would certainly entertain purchasing a car from this dealership if the right car were available.
"Excellent Dealership To Do Business With!"
We found a car offered by this dealership on Cars.com and started discussing purchase options and price via email with their representative Chad Deering on a Saturday. He was friendly, professional and very accommodative to working with our needs and budget. So much so that the next morning we drove all the way from Pasadena to Santa Barbara to check out the car, enjoyed a lovely day in Santa Barbara followed by a smooth, no pressure experience with Chad and their finance department manager. In less than 2 hours of arriving at the dealership, getting in a relatively long test drive and doing the paperwork we were on our way back home with the car we wanted, all detailed, full of gas and us as happy customers. I usually dread going to a dealership to buy a car but Chad and the staff at Santa Barbara Auto Group were fantastic. Bill F. - Pasadena, CA
"Jaguar F-type"
We just came in to see an F-Type that was on their showroom floor in the color (Black-Amethyst) we had specd out (very difficult color to find on a lot). It was a V8 model and we had specd out the V6. Within the short time we were there the V8 model price had actually been reduced to a price $3,000 lower than the V6 with all and more of the options than we had originally specd out! Our sales representative new the car inside and out, was not pushy and has gone beyond the call of duty in order to get this deal done. Thank you!
"Profit Over Integrity"

Very disappointed in my experience with Santa Barbara Auto Group. We had an agreed deal with paperwork being processed but a minor issue came up before the deposit could be put down and while working out this issue, was abruptly told they had "accepted" another offer that was more than the one already agreed to with me. Sure, no laws were broken per se since the deposit was pending but given where we were in the process, a decent dealership that cared about its customers and its reputation would not have taken the nominal profit at the expense of treating its customers badly and with little regard. I also wonder if my husband would have been treated so shabbily. Happy to report I found an even better vehicle from a dealership that wanted my business and actually cares about keeping it.
"Sb Auto Group"
Nice folks -- the salesman I contacted wasnt available, but another salesman took me out for a test drive -- including a stretch of freeway and some winding roads to test the handling of the car, which I appreciated because it was a high-performance auto.
"Excellent Salesman"
Arthur was knowledgable, helpful and spent a lot of time explaining things and addressing my concerns. He was not pushy and also gave great follow up service.
