This was the worst car buying experience Ive ever had. As an out-of-state buyer, I was issued 20-day temporary license plates and assured that my vehicle would be registered in that time. Ive called several times to try and ascertain the status of my plates but as of today, with now expired temp plates, I still dont have my actual registration. Ive gotten the runaround the entire time and when I asked to speak to the General Manager, he couldnt even take the time to call me. When my wife and I entered the dealership we were greated by Robert Rubinacci, Sales Associate. He introduced himself and was a true gentleman. His professional demeaner was a pleasant surprise. Usually I find dealing with car salesmen as pushy and self centered only concerned about moving a car. This wasnt the case with Robert. He listerened, gave me a fair trade in value for my car and most of all was not pushy. We were interested in a vehicle at her first visit. He asked if we wanted to put s deposit down on the vehicle. I advised him that I would have to look into further details a little further. He gave him his business card and told me he would be here for us. A few days later we decided that we were going to purchase the vehicle and called him. He set up an appointment to see him and he promptly meet and greeted us. When we further discussed the deal he honored the original price we discussed and after inspection our trade in gave us book value on vehicle. There were no hidden fees and no pressure up-selling. After a few days I noticed a problem with the vehicle. I called Robert, he told me to bring the vehicle back and he would have someone take a look at the problem. When I returned back to the dealer they were going to have to address the problem and advised me it was going to take a couple of days. I was giving a loaner car and out the door. I feel confident that the condition will be correct and Ill be off motoring again.

In short our expertise at SeaCoast Chevrolet a DiFeo family owned dealership was horrible. General Sales Manager Drew Anzalone was firm in being discourteous, unyielding, rude and unapologetic toward us regarding our issues; going as far as to tell us “we just want to be done” and that “it would have been better to sell the car to someone else.” All the while accusing us of not being able to be happy, he never once thought to ask us what would make us happy. The rest of the staff there have been nothing but curious and some even seem to share our issue with Mr. Anzalone. As of this review and several e-mails to management we are still waiting for someone to ask us how we can feel happy. A couple of months ago my girlfriend and I went about looking to replace my 2010 Camaro with a newer version that was convertible. We did our research and looked at several different Certified Pre-Owned Camaros in the area and ultimately made our final choice at SeaCoast Chevrolet. The car had some minor body issues with childish pin stripping and amateur applied alterations. They agreed to remove them and we were issued a “we owe” slip for the missing key and key fob. Two days after picking up our CPO Camaro we took a road trip to Daytona Beach, FL. We noticed things like the floor mats were missing, a small interior door trim piece was missing and the body was all scuffed up everywhere the pins tipping was. We notified the dealer and they agreed to replace the missing floor mats and resolve the other issues. We waited approximately two weeks for the keys to show up and another week or so for the mats to show up; at that time we went to the dealer in order to pick it all up and show the scratches. We were handed two actual keys without fob and floor mats from an Amazon box. We were told that they were only required to give us two keys and one fob and that was final. We complained to GM and have gone back and forth with issues. The “we owe” paperwork that would clear up the key fob issue has gone missing; which is in line with the CPO worksheet not being completely filled out, although they have an RO that shows some of the issues repaired other issues still remain. There are many more conversations and emails and problems but in the interest of keeping this short; I’ll say that beware of CPO vehicles they are not all the same and some dealers seem to spend more time on them in our experience than this one. On a side note Ive been a Chevrolet and General Motors customer for most of my driving life. Ive owned several Camaros, a Cobalt, Caddilacs, a Saturn and more. Ive personally flown the GM banner and supported the brand in good times and bad. This experience has obviously impacted my allegiance to the brand. While the dealership may not be GM they are an arm of the company and represent it to the people. While Drew several times told us he would rather not have sold us this car -or taken ours in trade even though it is currently for sale at the dealership- he did; and all we want is to be happy with our CPO Chevrolet.

After a bad leasing experience many years ago, doing it again never entered my mind, so when my salesperson, Pat Catena, suggested it, I wasnt feeling "warm and fuzzy". I had the pleasure of working with Robert Rubinacci recently on the purchase of a 2016 Chevrolet Trax. Robert was a joy to deal with and made the buying experience a pleasure (no small feat!). There was absolutely no sales pressure to buy a vehicle. I was given a price and allowed to leave without any pressure tactics. I had previously purchased three Chevrolets from another dealership in Monmouth County and, every time I went there, I felt like a stranger because they were very aggressive in their sales pitches. You will not find that at SeaCoast. In fact, everyone there is very friendly and helpful. When I was leaving the first time, I was unable to back my car out of the parking space and another salesman, Gene, actually got in my car and maneuvered it out of the space for me. Who does that? My buying experience with SeaCoast could not have been smoother. I walked in, spoke to Phil Russomanno the salesman about a pickup truck I saw they had for sale online. Phil asked me a few questions, he looked the truck up on their inventory list and handed me the keys to go look at it. He handed me two more sets of keys to check out other trucks that I mentioned I saw online and he said to ask him any questions I might think of. I never felt pressured once. I came back to him with a couple of questions which he quickly and completely answered for me and we made a very fair deal. I left happy and they made some money. Thats how it should be, nobody was angry or stressed out and I left the dealership feeling like I didnt get shafted. It was a good deal for us both. Thank you for my new truck.
