"Star European Under-promises And Over-delivers"
I just completed the purchase of my 44th car during my 53 years since getting my driver’s license. I have wanted a Mercedes 560 SL for the longest time but the time never seemed right and I could never find a car that would match my high standards and my wish for a reasonable price. Either I found the perfect car but the owner was convinced their 560 SL was the route to massive riches or the price was right but the car was really nothing more than a money pit. I have spent the last several months doing nothing but hunting for a 560 SL through every media outlet available for cars and I found my car and it was owned by Star European. It was priced very reasonably and I knew that there would be no time for me to arrange a flight from Toronto to Costa Mesa to look at this car and that I would have to buy sight unseen. Let me explain that until my experience with Star European and Bo Fenner, I WAS a very non-trusting person, having been a corporate lawyer for over 40 years and seeing everything “questionable†form of conduct that mankind could dream up. My worries were quickly dispensed. Right from the very first contact through a weekend email, the response by Star European (through Bo Fenner) was incredible. This man is passionate about his cars and his company’s motto clearly must be “service the client†and everything else will fall into place. I have never had such excellent service, honesty, every promise kept and Star European clearly “under-promises†and “over-deliversâ€. I was a nervous buyer because I have never bought a car sight unseen and being a retiree I do not have money to throw around. Bo calmly answered all my questions and he was very forthright about both the good things and the negative things about the car (which were very few). He explained their pricing and that their theory is to find a good quality car and sell it for a reasonable price and have a happy customer. The car I bought needed certain things done and even though the sale was complete and the work to be done was post-sale service work, the service work was done exactly as Bo said it would be done and in a very high quality manner. I would give Star European the highest marks for the accuracy of the cars they represent on their website, the honesty and integrity of giving frank and honest answers about any limitations of any particular car, incredibly good response time and wonderful people to deal with from beginning to end.

Hi Guys, I was pleasantly surprised when I came upon your website in my search for just the right Ferrari 360 Modena. I had been looking for about 2 months throughout the internet for my "dream" car- A Ferrari 360 Modena F1 coupe. I had a feeling that if I kept looking long enough I would find the perfect one for me and it happened. I saw the 2000 Modena in Blu Pozzi that you had advertised as your featured car and loved it. I spoke with Bo who was a joy to do business with , he was very honest, upfront and frank in his opinion of this car. He pointed me to the high def pics he had on LaLaCars.com and I was impressed-absolutely beautiful ! We spoke on numerous occasions after that and before long I realized this was the car I wanted. I had an inspector in the area check the car out for me and he reassured me that it was everything Bo had described and more. We worked out the details and I picked it up a week before Christmas. I love the car, so much FUN to drive and the best Christmas gift EVER! The buying experience was so easy thru Bo and I would recommend him to anyone I know in the market for a vehicle. I continue to keep in touch with him if I have any questions and I think he misses "his" car. Thanks again for all your help Sincerely, Kevin

Reached Peter on his cell phone. He seemed pleasant. Was helpful and said the car I called about was sold about a week ago, but he would call me if he got another car in that I was looking for.

this was a bad experiance. the dealer doesnt provide a phone number and they dont even show the address. how do they expect to sell a car when its impossible to talk to anyone. im not sure if all cars.com adds are set up this way but this one was a big waste of my time. and it was a car i was really interested in.
