When I was married, my husband handled all of the car business. After the "D" my son, who worked at a dealership handled everything for me. Neither of the above options apply any longer. I turned my attention to Barton for many reasons, the list is long. My expectations were not high, and I honestly shopped around, again for many reasons. I was approved at 2 other dealerships with many hoops to jump thru. Some, even illegal, like being forced to purchase an extended warranty on a used car or I wouldnt get approved. I did my entire car deal with Jason Barton over the phone via TEXT! Who does that? They did. Jason got me into a 2017 Chevy Equinox lease for 2 years AND lowered my payments. The entire team was nothing short of amazing. Once I stepped into the dealership to pick up my new car, I didnt even pick it out.... its beautiful, its loaded, I love it! I may just have Barton pick out my next car too, and EVERY ONE after that .... every 2 years. Thats how well my experience at Barton Chevy went down. Thank you Jason Barton and the entire team at Barton Chevrolet and "Cadillac" (hint, hint).

Great service dept. Dennis always gets me in with a laugh. Service was fine. The detailer for the auto butler looks like the person was not paying attention. Looked at possible trade in. Kind of wish I could of got to who I needed at 1st request. Dont understand why I had to repeat my self to everyone just to talk to finance

Buying a car can be a stressful experience in itself, Buying from Barton Chevrolet made the experience even more stressful and frustrating! My sales man Phillip was the only saving grace in this experience. I drove from NJ to purchase a 2014 GMC 1500 from Barton, my first trip we could not come to the correct agreement in price, which was completely understandable, however Cherokee from the finance department was unprofessional in the way he dealt with the situation, made me feel like I was wasting his time and was not pleasant at any point during our interactions. I left the dealership without a deal that night but I decided the next day to call and accept the price discussed. It was brought up and seemed to be held against me that we could not agree on price the first day throughout the entire process. Moving forward and dealing with the finance department is where the entire experience became unpleasant and stressful. 5 calls to the finance manager yielded no return call or interaction with the finance manager at all, the only time I was able to get the manager on the phone was when I would not leave my name and said I needed to speak to someone right away. I was never informed of anything that was going on with the financing or loans throughout the process until I already had insurance on the truck in their lot and was scheduled to pick the truck up. I was using a co-signer for the truck and they went out of their way for me to sign paperwork for me, it was an hour and a half drive for them to get there, the dealership knew the day before they would be arriving before work to sign yet my co-signer still had to wait 40 minutes until they signed the first piece of paper, the lack of preparation on the dealerships end yielded my co-signer being 35 minutes late for work. On the delivery day I arrived to sign paperwork and pick up the vehicle. Paperwork was not prepared correctly, documents were missing, and additional fees were slipped in without me being informed of them at all. The finance team mentioned multiple times that they are under staffed and did not seem to mind that my experience was not a positive one. Overall I could never recommend Barton Chevrolet to anyone, if it was not for Phillip trying his hardest to make to most out of the situation I would have ended the deal and walked away. Unprofessional, unpleasant, and unreliable are the words that best describe my experience.

Purchased a 2015 Chevrolet Equinox 2LT, GM Certified. Salesman Anthony B., top shelf individual! I was looking on line for two weeks, went to two other Chevrolet dealerships which had good selection but not good price. Barton Chevrolet had what I wanted, went thru the ritual, got a fair price and made the purchase. Salesman spent more than 1 hour explaining vehicle to my wife and I during pickup. Very nice people at the dealership; I am 3 time Chevy GM Certified purchaser, had not needed to ever use warranty, notified and completed two recalls over 10 years, satisfied - loyal Chevy driver.

Dennis has always kept me advised on the work being done on my truck. His concern was that my truck be always safe to drive. Sometimes Id have to reach deep into my wallet to pay for the repairs. Dennis would advise me when certain maintenance had to be performed, for example he checked the history of my truck and noticed that the coolant needed to be changed and flushed out.

only one thing.. i had the Butler service done. which takes two hours. wile in i had them change the oil, oil filter, air filter, new wipers, and the state inspection done. along with tire rotation. i asked just to make sure about the time and the service man said probable three hours this time. but by 1430 (2:30) no one had called to say it was ready. i had dropped it off at 0900 (9am). so i went to the dealer and the service man looked it up and said it was ready. i went to the cashier paid and said, it took a bit long this time and no one called. she said the Butler service just finished.
