I own a Smart ForTwo 2013 ED and I love the car. I placed a order for the new ED. I really will miss my first Smart. >>> The Smart sales person is a customer-oriented professional and has a Smart mind set to advise you on the car functionality and the best configurations. >> The Smart ForTwo ED is quick of the line, fun to drive, super quiet, easy to get in and out, keeps up with local traffic and highway (65-70 mi/h). Amazingly, the small truck (yes, it has one) can either pile up 6 bags of mulch, or place 7 grocery bags easily in it. I am positive there are many car buyers that could be a Smart owner but their mind set and lack of knowledge about the cars features and safety prefer to buy either a SUV or sedan for their daily commute. They drive alone, less than 50 mi/day, during the week and carry/waste 3-4 empty seats, occupy extra space on the road, waste horsepower (they dont rev more than 4000 rpm, or dont drive above 70 mi/h) and have other SUV or sedans in the garage! If you have a BIG EGO but dont think SMART I am sure you will be wasting lots of things.

I walked into Open Road and was greeted by Michael Vurchio, I told Mike I just wanted to look at the E 350 and didnt need any help because the car was for my wife. After a few minutes Mike came back to me and asked if I have any questions now, after speaking with Mike just for a few minutes I realized that he is a true professional. We recently bought on impluse a pre-owned Audi A8 from this dealership while there to actually look at a preowned 911 (strange things do happen). Our salesperson Melanie was just awesome to work with, a car enthusiast herself. She was helpful, courteous, friendly and proactive. We also met with couple of managers as well as the finance manager, who was great to work with as well (that totally bends the rule in the car dealership business). We liked the fair prices, the speed of negotiation and speed of execution. Its also not an overcrowded dealership like the giant places (Paramus and Edison). If we decide one day to buy a Benz, wed make the trip to Bridgewater even though we live in Holmdel.

I live in Pennsylvania (about 2 hours away). Found the car on line and loved it. Made an appointment to see and drive the car. I was pleasantly greeted by Mark Gianchiglia. Mark was extremely knowledgeable about the car and extremely helpful. I did a test drive in a place where I was comfortable driving. He was not high pressure at all. He made certain that I was comfortable and felt at home. I bought the car. He showed me as many features as possible before I drove home. He was supposed to have a mat changed out and apparently we ran out of time because that didnt happen. I would highly recommend doing business with this establishment and Mark in particular. I wish I lived closer so I could have my service completed at this dealership.

Buying my second car from this dealer. The experience was wonderful from the time we stepped in, to the time we drove off. Claudio was our sales rep. He was very very helpful. He made sure we knew everything about the cars and that we were never under any pressure to buy! It was Thanksgiving Weekend 2013 and we were out looking at new cars when we decided to stop at Open Road of Bridgewater. We never thought we could afford a Benz but we were wrong. The dealer had many quality pre-owned Mercedes on the lot in mint shape and low mileage. Our salesman Mark picked up on our interest and used a no-pressure style to get us to return with our Infiniti tittle and a test drive. During the test drive we learned all about the different features, from safety thru performance that Mercedes provide. When we decided to buy the negotiation and financing process was like no other buying experience we ever had. In fact Mark even sent us home while the dealer compiled the paperwork and prepped the car. This is completely opposite of my last experience where the dealer wouldnt let us leave with-out the car and the process took 6 hours! When we returned on Monday everything was ready to go and we were out in an hour! I would recommend Mark at Open Road of Bridgewater to any one that wants a quality car buying experience. Jason and Keith contacted me repeatedly by email and phone to make sure I was comfortable driving 3 hours to buy a car from a dealership I had never dealt with before. I can only speak to the purchasing experience and agree with the other reviews, the quality for what youd expect in mercedes is not there. Triple check the details on a car listing, whats on the web is inaccurate at best, for instance a pre-owned might list on the web a back-up camera but not actually have one in the car, the mileage listed maybe much higher, I was Quoted in an email a car has low 12,000 miles, and the web advertised "Only 12,600 miles!" just before picking it up, it had over 13,250! And they put this in writing, so they do "falsely make claims" just to get you in the door. Dont recommend buying here if your from out of state, because honesty is not their policy. The overall "experience" was not satisfactory and will not purchase from them again. Shame on me for having higher expectations. The car itself (c300) does drive nicely.

As simple as it sounds Mike Verchio was the reason why I purchased from this store. I work in the area and recently received a promotion so I wanted to upgrade my car to a luxury brand. So I tried the BMW 335 out at the Bridgewater store the service there was horrible. I then decided to just take a look at the Mercedes 300, I was just looking at the cars and was approached by Mike he started going over the cars he had in inventory and none were really what I was looking for. Mike told me that the store was a volume dealer and by next week there should be more cars that I might like. On Thursday of the following week Mike gives me a call and asked if I can stop by during lunch because a car arrived that fits what I wanted. After going back to the store he was right it was what I wanted, Mike made the buying experience a fantastic one, I remember him saying finding the car is the hardest part the numbers are the easiest part. I have never had a worst experience in my life with service. Michael in service is rude and abnoxious. The amount they attempted to charge me was crazy and this was after two weeks of having my car. Bottom line that did not fix my car and charged me 2000.00 ...See you in court open road Stay away from this place Mercedes should be embarrassed
