"Good Service Call"
This is about a routine maintenance visit, a 70,000 mile scheduled service on a 2007 Ford Escape XLT. There really isnt a lot to say. I made an appointment for 8 AM on a Sat. (I really do like that I can get a service appointment on Sat.- very convenient). I dropped the car off and got a call a couple hours later that it was ready. It was just the usual stuff - oil & filters changes, rotate tires so there was nothing difficult about the visit, but it went just as I wanted it to - no hassles.
"Normally Good But Not This Time"
When leaving the Quicklane cash desk (to pay for services) I was asked to be fair on the survey - so I hope to be. I got to change my first flat tire on my 2014 F150 yesterday, the 22nd of this month. It wasnt the smooth experience I had expected, but my son and I managed it and now we know some of the tips and tricks to sticky tire changes. Immediately after putting the spare on, we headed to the Ford dealer into the Quicklane to try getting the flat repaired. This is where my ugh morning turned into an ugh afternoon. I pulled to the front of the drive in bay, got out- explained my situation to the guy sitting by himself at the first service desk. He forwarded me to "Skip" inside the reception. I went in, got a fairly cool reception and couldnt help feeling defensive. My truck has been here before, but not me personally -- husband usually brings it in. Once I got the truck inside the bay, I tried letting Skip know I had put the flat in the pickup bed. While he was tearing out the number ticket and asking for my keys I felt barely acknowledged, like "obviously thats where it is." I felt brushed off when he pointed me at the waiting area. After considerable time, Skip came back in showing me the nail - explaining I needed a whole new tire as the nail had punctured the sidewall as well. There went the rest of my day, hah, ugh! Some time later Skip came back in asking me if I knew where the jack for the truck was, if I had left it home or forgotten it cause the tech couldnt find it. I covered my surprise a bit and assured him that no, the jack had been put back right where it should be. "Well the tech cant find it." I explained that the jack is in the little stow and go compartment - he needs to lift up the back seat, remove the little cubby there, and unscrew the jack-lockdown to pull the case out and up. I offered to go show him how, but he didnt stick around to take me up on the offer. I confess my shock at the tech working on the truck and having no idea where to look when my understanding is the storage place is quite common for the Fords I presume he knows how to work on. Or even needing to get the jack out in order to replace the spare- why wouldnt you guys have your own on hand? Lucky for you I am responsible with my stuff, eh? Hah! The work done was adequate. To be fair I am not giving you 5 stars, or high recommendation rating for the quicklane service. I had just barely finished changing a very flat tire, Im sure I looked it as frazzled as I felt. I expected some sort of welcome or friendliness, and to come away from this experience satisfied not annoyed. It was not an obviously busy day (I saw no waiting line, and only 2 of the 3 bay service desks had customers) but I felt like everyone there had better things to do, and I dont know how much is cause I was expected to know the ins and outs of quicklane on my first visit there, but I would think a first time visit would be the "lets make a great impression" visit.

Brought my 2009 Escape in for state inspection and oil change. Brought my sister along with her a Honda CRV for the same. She was so impressed with the staffs courteousness (which has ALWAYS been my experience) and how friendly, welcoming and efficient they were. Hands down the best crew and service. We also utilized the courtesy shuttle and Brise was such a gentleman. I have only ever brought my vehicle to them for service and the same goes for my husbands 2013 F-150 truck. Special cudos to Craig and Carol in Quick Lane. They are simply the best at BEST FORD!!

I purchased my f150 at Best Ford and I take it there for Y check ups and oil changes. I called on Tuesday to have. It checked for a noise in the front end. They had me come that week and was repaired promptly. A great dealership when you need a repair.

I got a complimentary multi-point inspection and oil/filter change and tire rotation. Also all fluids were topped off and tires set to manufacturers recommended air pressure. I like the Saturday hours since I can get my previously-owned Crown Victoria maintained without taking time off from work.
