I will not buy another Ford, the response of the company on questions regarding the car were not dealt with and I was not satisfied at all with the company. However the service dept. is excellent they respond quickly and make sure we are satisfied with the service I reccomend the service dept to everyone I know. I live within a mile of a Ford Dealership in Greenfield and gladly drive to Northampton for all my service needs.

I had owned my car 2 weeks prior to a computer glitch in the transmission. They loaned me a beautiful car. I havent bought a car in 14 years so I was apprehensive about the procedure and we were very pleased on how they treated us and seemed to care about our concerns instead of pouncing and forcing us to buy anything that we really didnt want. We Love our little car. Thank You We recommend this dealer.
"Friendly Until You Need Something Done..."
Tried to buy my new Ford from them last year, they couldnt be bothered (not a lot of markup on that specific model). Came in a year later for some warranty work, a quick re-program of the heat. They made the problem worse (only blew full hot on defrost), so I had to drive it in -2F weather with no floor heat for two days. A day and a half of work after that turned into 3 days. After the service was done, they asked if I wanted them to inspect it, with the implication that after all this work, itd be fine. They failed it for 31% tint and "emissions not ready" because THEY disconnected the battery doing the work, and then charged me $35.

I was berated for having read their website and basically told I was lucky they would honor that price. However they wouldnt come down $200 to sell a car for cash. Clearly they dont care about how long cars sit on their lots or about the future business they lose by being unwilling to work with buyers.

Had them run diagnostic on my truck found 2 problems as they always do cost a ton to fix also the usual and said my truck was all set 150 miles later my check engine light reappears they will look at it tomorrow....I bet its not something they did I bet they find 2 new problems like they usually do and Im sure for a small fortune they will almost fix them 2 ...at least for a 150 miles

I have only been here twice and both times have left and had other issues with my car that did not exist BEFORE going here. I only had "The Works" this time, but after having tires rotated (part of this "deal"), I had the worst sound coming from tires!! The back tires were not put on flush and the front tires were tightened too much, none of tires were cleaned of salt and dirt when they were off! This is service??? Terrible service if you ask me, and I will not ever go back to Northampton Ford! I am very disappointed because I was hoping to find a place to trust, apparently I was wrong!

"Do Not Bring Your Transmission Problems Here"
I had my 09 Flex serviced and repaired at FON for the past three years. After an accident I had sent my car ther eto be repaired, they outsoured the body work to another Sarat Family Business in Chiocpee. The repiars took over three months to complete and I had to go back three additonal times for them to get it right. That said I still stayed loyal to the dealership in part to assure the warranty would be honored. So when I noticed problems with the transmission I brought my car in for review four separate times in 6 months to have it checked. Even though the slippage and hard shifting were obvious to a laymen like myself the service department insisted "the transmission technician reviewed it and coudl not find anything". I finally brought the car in one more time and insisteid this technician ride in the car with me, within two minutes of driving the car he said the transmission needs to be replaced and will not lasst much longer. This is when George, the service manager, informed me that my warranty had run out the week before and the repar will likely costs $4,300. However to know for sure I need to commit $750 just for them to open teh transmission and diagnose it thoroughly, at which time it would be disassembled in theri shop and I woudl really have no recourse but to have it repaired there at full costs. The frustration is I had the car there three weeks earlier for the same problem, only difference is I didnt have the "tech" drive the car with me. FON made no effort to do right on the price or accept any accountabilty for their poor diagnosis. I have since ordered a tranny online and had a local shop put it is for less thna $2,000.

I was treated with kindness and respect. I was given time to think things through and ask questions. I was given help with the new technology (hadnt bought a car in 10 years)...and assured that I can return for more assistance if I need it. These are the kind of people I like to deal with and I would recommend them to anybody.
